Narrative Report - default to A4 print size

Hi, I need to build a form using the narrative report and the report should fit into A4 printable size.
These are the steps I performed" First I design the form using excel and I have ensure that the form does fit into A4 print size(check via print preview). After converting the form to HTML, I copy the codes into the narrative view of the report, the content displays in the report is in the correct format/design. I save the report in CRM. However when I download and open the report in excel, the report does not fit into the A4 paper size.
Is there a way I can define the margin and report size for narrative report with HTML code?

Pease post this question on the CRM On Demand Analytics and Reports forum.

  • Narrative reports not showing beyond first page if printed out

I'm trying to print out a CO1/CO2 record using the 'printer friendly' function.
Although everything appears fine on screen, all narrative reports in the related information sections do not appear in the printout if it extends to more than 1 page. This only occurs for IE6 which is our company default browser. We will be upgrading to IE7 but that will be only some time next year and till then, the users need to print out these reports. I've also tested and it doesn't happen for firefox as well.
I'm out of workarounds/ideas so if anyone has any, it's greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I did not understand the requirement completely but would suggest you to use STARTPAGE field of the CONTROL_PARAMETERS structure.
We use CONTROL_PARAMETERS while calling the SMART Form from Application program as an import parameter. By default SmartForms is printed from First page. If you want it to start printing from some other page set the field 'CONTROL_PARAMETERS-STARTPAGE'.
    Hope it helps.

  • Print Size in mail always defaults to 70%

Every time I go to print an email the print size is shown as 70% and I have to change it to 100% to print at full size. I cannot find what I need to change to set the default to 100%. I do not think it is a mail issue as I keep my mail accounts on an external drive and use a sym link to access it from both my iMac and my MacBook. When using mail on the Macbook the size of the print is set to 100% as the default. Greatly appreciate what I have to tweak.
    thanks

Do you really use the icloud mail?? I removed it and it does not happens with other accounts

  • How can I make US letter the default print size in PSE12

How can I make US letter the default print size in PSE12

Clips from JVC Everio camcorders have always had this problem with Premiere Elements (all versions). You need to select Interpret Footage.
See this FAQ from PE version 2, step 3. Like I said it has been this way with all versions:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc1265c
You might be able to use this tool to change the header of your MOD files so they are seen as 16:9: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDPatcher
Or use this program (SDCopy) to download the video's from the cam, it will allow you to copy straight from the cam to your PC and auto renames and corrects the aspect ratio.

  • My default print size has changed to 130%.  I have tried everything to change it back to 100%.  Any suggestions?

My Mac Mail default print size has somehow changed from 100% to 130%.  I have tried everything to change it back to 100% with no resolve.  Help!

I'm using Tiger right now, but I believe Leopard is the same. Select Page Setup from the Menu. Input 100% in the Scale block. Then at the top of the Page Setup window, click the arrow on Settings & change from Page Attributes to Set As Default.

  • Include Print Size on Export

I'd like to explicitly include the "friendly" print size based on the images' Crop Ratio (4x6, 5x7, 8x10) when I export images.  I noticed one can include the image's "dimensions" on export, but the pixel dimensions don't help my clients know what size to print the JPG without getting out the calculator and going back to their 4th grade geometry class.
I have a home-grown solution, but was wondering if I missed something (and if not, please consider this a Feature Request).
In my home-grown solution I overload the "Job Identifier" metadata under the "Workflow" panel in the Library view with the image's print size / aspect ratio (say "8x10").  I can also set this on import so I only have to change the handful of pictures I change from the 4x6 (2:3) aspect ratio my Canon 5Dmii defaults.
Then, in the export module, I include the Job Identifier in the "Filename Template Editor" to include "Filename" - "Job Identifier".  This results in a file name that includes my "friendly" print size like "2010-10-23 Smith family shoot in Caldwell - 8x10.jpg" upon export.
As a side benefit, I selected "Job Identifier" because that's also a field accessible as a library filter value under "Metadata" - so I can easily filter my photos by this value as well.
Is there an automagic way Lightroom can do this natively?
    Thanks!

  • Zoom to 'Print Size' feature completely removed from Photoshop 13.0.2

Adobe decided to remove the 'Print Size' button/option from the 'Zoom' tool in Photoshop 13.0.2
I use this heavily as I run a print lab and I often need to show people on screen what the size of their print will be (I have set the correct ppi for each display in preferences).
I am absolutely amazed they could remove a feature like this without any warning in a minor update. The irony is that for the first time ever retina displays have enough resolution to assess sharpness without going to 100% and the 'View Print Size' is more useful that ever before.
I will probably have to roll back to the last Photoshop version on all systems but before I do, does anyone know if there is a way to get the 'Print Size' option back???
    Thanks!

  • Header and Footer on Narrative report - Need to remove

I have just created a narrative report and all looks good but when I do a print preview, it shows the form name in the upper left and Page 1 of 1. The bottom of the form, footer, shows the url and the current date. Is it possible to hide or remove this?

    Hi !
This is not related to CRM OnDemand and your report. This is a printer configuration.
In your browser, go to File > Layout and you'll see header and footer fields. Just blank them and your printed page won't have header and footer. For IE having the date and url in the footer and the page title in the header is a standard setting...
Hope this will help, feel free to ask more !

  • How do I set print size when printing from an IPhone or IPad?

I have an HP Deskjet 3520. Today (11/24/12) is the first time I tried to e-print with both an IPhone and IPad (both IOS 6.01).  I was able to print easily from both devices. I tried a document from the Notes app on the IPhone and a photo from both the IPhone and IPad. The problem is that I had no idea what the print size would be because there were no formatting options prior to the printing. I printed on letter size paper. Do I need an app for that or is there another solution?

Airprint will just default based on the printer options, and the file type. If you had a printer with a separate photo tray it would default to 4x6 or 5x7 if it is in the photo tray and you are printing a picture, most other files would use standard letter size.
The HP ePrint app is what you want for this, it is free in the app store. This will give you options to set the paper type and size.

  • Narrative Report

    Hi,
What is Narrative Report??.....how to create a Narrative Report
    Regards
    Raghu

Be careful spending time on a Narrative Report if your end goal is to print to PDF. Currently Oracle CRM OnDemand is deffective when it comes to printing Narrative Reports.
For example we designed a customer contract spending weeks on formatting and design only to find out that the Printer Friendly PDF option scrunches the entire report into 2 inches. Aweful!
Oracle response to the enhancement request has not been much better.

  • Narrative Report Performance

I have created a Narrative Report in the Reporting section (Not Analytics) because the customer might need to see the report within the same day. I know the performance will be slower but how much slower? The report takes about 1-2 minutes to generate...is that normal. I am only pulling from a few areas Owned by User, Date Opened, Opportunity and Contact. I have also created a prompt that will only pull data from 1 Oppty. record. My question is that normal performance from the Reporting side or is there something I can do to help performance?

  • Lightroom automaticaly enlarges print size. How do you stop this?

How do you keep Lightroom from changing the print size? For example, if I have a 4.5 x 7.5 image ( the image size displayed in PS), LR seems to want to make it larger than this size, such that it fits into an arbitrary cell size designated by the "Fine Art Mat" template. I select this template because the other single cell templates want to enlarge it even more.
How do you tell Lightroom to leave the image size alone? Right now I have to open the image in PS, check the exact size dimensions, then switch back to LR and specify these dimensions in the cell size, which rounds the numbers off to two decimal places. This is time consuming and awkward. Why isn't the default to print the image its actual size instead changing to fit an arbitrary cell size in a template? Lightroom is suppose to make things simpler, but in this case it makes it more complicated.
Also, if you want a specific size image and ppi, is there some way to specify the size like you can do in PS?

    Alexander,
What I mean is print size. I agree that it is possible to specify a cell size, which is how print size is specified in LR. The problem is that LR doesn't know what size the image is suppose to be printed at. This is not my fault, but a fault in the design of LR.
The actual print size of a digital image is determine by its number of pixels and the specified resolution. These parameters are encoded in each image file. LR fails to recognize this information, ignores the information and automatically changes these parameters to fit into an arbitrary cell dimension/resolution.
This is LR fault and not the photographer. It creates a very real issue to not only photographers who scan artwork but also for photographers who have regularly made prints in the past of their own work or artwork they reproduce for others. For example I and many photographers make prints of our work, exhibit this work and sell it. Our image files have encoded in them the pixel dimension/resolution, thus the print size on paper. When a print is ordered, then we want to be able to print it out quickly at this encoded print size. This should be a zero step process, as far as image print sizing goes, since we have already previously encoded the print size.
Print sizing in LR is not a zero step process for previously encoded files, it involves the steps outlined in my original posts. This is an issue to many photographers who sell prints of their work or reproduce artwork of other artists. Granted it only takes a minute or two completing the steps I have outlined, but this is a nuisance, considering that it could be very simply avoided by the suggestions outlined by myself and other posters to this thread.
