Nearing a Month - Waiting for Apple to Fix

Hi
So I have had my apple account disabled for 2 weeks now I believe and been waiting for Apple to fix my account issue for almost a month now (it will a month this friday) and I am getting very impatient sadly, I don't want to get angry but it is taking a ridiculously long time. I have called Apple several times since the issue came up and every time they tell me I just need to sit it out.
I'm pretty much fed yup with waiting as I want to make use of my account iPhone developer account, problem with enrolment migration). Now and again they have told me they have escalated my issue to the top priority, but its taking so long I'm beginning to wonder whats going on.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced such long waiting times like this and why? Thanks (sorry for rambling on).

They said it would be best that no information was changed on the account while they looked at it so they disabled it. I thought it would be disabled just while they were looking at it for a day or two, but its been disabled for far longer now.

  • 2 months already and still waiting for apple provider to repair MacBook

My girlfriend's macbook pro has the no video issue ( http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377 ) We sent it to our local AASP from Honduras, they told us that Apple would refund everything, but it's been 2 months already and we are still waiting for Apple to send the materials.
    Is that normal?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
In the U.S. spreaking directly to Apple, you can ask for them to consider replacing your Mac within 3 weeks of sending it in, or three attempted repairs ont he same item. I suggest going over to the repair place, getting a case number they have with Apple, and contacting AppleCare directly.
    In Hondurous that would be:

  • IOS6 and iphoto, iPad, Apple TV sync problem still unresolved. Turning on and off a few times have not helped. What should I do now? wait for an upgrade fix?

iOS6 and iphoto, iPad, Apple TV sync problem still unresolved. Turning on and off a few times per community advice have not helped. What should I do now? wait for an upgrade fix?
"&" is not the obvious bug/answer. Not sure what went wrong as I cannot select albums and events for sync. Situation is worse for iPad and Apple TV when error 1140 message popped up even before backup get completed.

Download and install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update, which was just released today. It may be the answer to your problems:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1598
Be sure that neither iTunes nor iPhoto is running when you install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update. After installing the update, then restart iTunes and iPhoto. By default, "All photos" is selected. Change this (it's no longer grayed out) to "Selected albums..." and you should be OK.

  • Flash player, to update via Adobe or wait for Apple

Usually, I just wait for Apple to include an update in one of their updates that come out. Currently, flash player 9.0.28 is what I am using (PPC), and that came with one of the latest updates from them.
I know that their is a slightly newer point version out available on the Adobe's website.
Any thoughts if it is wiser to just let flash updates come in via Apple, or just down the latest flash player from adobe??

Apple Software Update doesn't update third party software and Flash Player is no exception.
The most current version of Flash is 9.0r47 July 10, 2007:
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/11622 or
    http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb07-12.html
Now, it could be that Apple got permission from Adobe to include their software in one of its updates and the quote does give that impression, but I would not expect these events. Since I didn't do a before and after inspection after the 4.9 update I have no way to test.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61798
10.4.10 was released June 20, 2007 so we may have to wait until the next "security" update to see if Apple also includes this Flash update, too.
Me? I don't wait for Software Update to fix third party issues.
Posted, also, with no intent of disrespecting your thoughts on this matter.

  • ITunes Match Unable To Get Past "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..."

Been trying for days but it just gets to "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..." and then stops and allows me to press the Start button again to start the match process.  Sometimes I get error -3231.
I've called Apple and they want $19 to solve the issue even though I paid the $25 for Match.
I've turned iTunes Match off.  Turned Genius off.  Logged out of my iTunes account.  Quit iTunes.  Restarted. Logged back into iTunes account.  Turn Genius on.  Turn iTunes Match back on and let it go through the process again with no success.
My library has a couple hundred songs less than the 25,000 max but it is pretty large.  Had the same issue when I tried with a smaller library some time ago.  I've created a new library and have the same issue.

    Hi,
You should consider rebooting your internet router
Then try holding option key whilst turning off match. Close iTunes and then reopen. Turn on iTunes Match and select add this computer.

  • What is a quick alternative to launching an enterprise DPS app if Apple Store rejects the App? We are under a major deadline and can't wait for Apple. We want to host the app elsewhere. How do we host our DPS app on our client's website?

What is a quick alternative to launching an enterprise DPS app if Apple Store rejects the App? We are under a major deadline and can't wait for Apple to approve. We want to host the app elsewhere. How do we host our DPS app on our client's website? Thanks.

Unless I misunderstand the question, you can't do what you're asking to do. Apple doesn't allow you to bypass their store and host public apps on a website. The exception is an enterprise app, which requires an Enterprise account with both Apple and Adobe. This type of enterprise app can be distributed only within the company. If that's what you want to do, you can learn more here:
Digital Publishing Suite Help | Creating viewer apps for private distribution
Distributing enterprise iOS viewer applications with Digital Publishing Suite | Adobe Developer Connection
Another option is to add the development app to several devices and use those for your demo.

  • Waiting for Apple to deliver your Genius results

For the past couple of days I've noticed that the display area of my iTunes has said, "Waiting for Apple to deliver your Genius results…" And it just keeps saying that for hours on end.
Anybody know why? And/or what I can do about it?

"But what if I want Genius results? "
In iTunes, click the black box with the arrow in it bottom right side of the iTunes window.

  • "Waiting for Apple TV..." - trying to restore

Had my ATV2 for a couple of years, never had a problem with it.
Either out of the blue or because a friend was pressing buttons randomly (although don't know how), the ATV started flashing quickly.
Grey blank screen, doesn't respond at all.
So I bought a Micro USB cable to restore the software.
Plugged the ATV into my MacBook Pro (only Micro USB connected, not power or HDMI) - running latest OSX 10.8.4 and latest iTunes 11.0.5.
iTunes recognised the ATV and showed the "Restore Apple TV..." button
Downloaded the latest ATV restore update.
Then I get the following messages in iTunes:
    "Extracting Software"
    "Verifying update with Apple"
    "Preparing Apple TV for restore..."
    "Waiting for Apple TV..."
And that's where it hangs.  I've tried multiple times and left it for hours and hours.
Just says "Waiting for Apple TV..." and won't progress further.
I've tried plugging the power cable in, I've tried pressing Menu & down, and Menu & Play/Pause for 7 seconds.  This often brings up an error 9 or error 1600 but nothing gets past "Waiting for Apple TV".
Unless anyone has any ideas, I'm seeing a call to Apple Service or a new Apple TV.

Just the future shop a couple towns over. It was a gift from my brother so I don't have the receipt. I just scheduled a call from apple care tho...Maybe they can ship me a new one or something.

  • Waiting for apple to deliver your itunes match results - time out -uk

    Hi,
    Help me please
I seem to be stuck in a loop that after the gathering of information has finished, the info is sent to apple and then I get 'waiting for apple to deliver your itunes match results' after about 30 or so seconds I then get an error message
'we could not complete your request, the network timed out, blah blah blah make sure network connection is active'  no error code.
I am a windows 7 user, I have comodo fire wall, nod32 and sky broadband.
I have forwarded the ports 80 and 443, i have turned off comodo and disabled nod32, uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled itunes and I am still no further forward.
My internet connection is fine, i can access and download from the itunes store so there should be no issues, genius is on and working and getting results from apple so what is wrong with match?
    Thanks
    Marc

    Marcus_30,
thanks, unfortunately tried almost all of that already...
You must be able to disable the firewall, even just temporarily.
    Did that already, no change
Plug directly into the router and have nothing else running.
no change either if connected via Wifi or cable
I take it that you can connect to the store ok?
yes, iTunes store is working fine - even can download at the same time I am getting the network timeout error
Have you been through the re-installing iTunes motions?
this will be my next step - had hoped to avoid that...

  • Waiting for apple to deliver your itunes match results

Out of the blue, iMatch is hung-up on step 1 and displays this in the progress bar
"waiting for apple to deliver your itunes match results".  Nothing ever happens after that.  Songs that I have been adding since the beginning are in the cloud and play on all my devices -even thought in itunes it indicated that they are not in the cloud. Anything new I have added to my library appears on my other devices as grayed-out and do not play.  They do play on my PC.
I have a Dell PC with Vista running the latest version of iTunes.
    I have signed in/out
    Turned iMatch (and genious) off/on
    Deauthorized and re-authorized the PC
    restarted iTunes
    restarted the PC.
I have no other issues with this machine.
Support has not been able to help other than claiming it is Apple's fault.
    Thanks, VJ

    I had to restart iTunes.

  • Apple TV stuck in restore in iTunes - message, "waiting for apple TV" and then nothing happens for hours.

Hello having major issue with Apple TV, have searched the forums over the last week but can't find a solution that works.
My ATV is not working when I had it  plugged into TV so I thought I would plug it in and restore it via iTunes. I have tried three different micro-USB (all of which work on other devices). So in iTunes I had downloaded the latest ATV software and it starts to restore the ATV (extracts/prepares/verifies) but the restore gets stuck on the part of "waiting for Apple TV" and then nothing happens, as in overnight nothing happens. I have tried using the remote to reset the ATV but nothing. The flashing light is constant.
Anyone got an ideas on what to do when the restore doesn't work?

Best to take it to Apple

  • 8 month wait for new phone line!!!!!

I posted on here a while ago '5 month wait for phone line' and I cannot actually believe that I am almost at 8 months of waiting for a phone line to be installed!!
Reason: Openreach are having traffic management issues for a four way traffic light system needed for my phone line, this has been the reason since JULY 2013!!!!
My local council have told me this is just an excuse as Openreach/BT have not made any requests to them in my area or the entire of Anglesey where I live!!!
I get updates from a BT team in Sunderland which are very repetitive 'traffic light problems' cannot get permission for them blah blAH BLAH!!! And they accept these excuses from Openreach!!! They can give me no indication as to when I will get a phone line and when I say what happens when we get to year point they say oh no that will never happen!! This BT team now only text me updates saying they could not get through to my mobile, they say they will update me on the 19th December but it will be the same old **bleep**.
So now I am am drafting a letter which will include all the correspondence between BT and myself including all the false information they have texted me and stupid emails (one said there are major problems in Cornwall so thats is why there is a delay I asked whats Cornwall got to do with anything I live in North Wales, the BT guy then said Cornwall is the term used to refer to a large area??? He later apologised for his error, but what an idiot)
My letter will also be sent to BT head office, complaints and the my local MP, BBC Watchdog and various other local consumer affairs programmes.
But any extra advice would be greatly appreciated.....
    HAnnah Hughes

He was the one who made the Cornwall comments!! All he did was relay extra information in more detail than the BT operators were giving me, but he had no authority to do anything. It has been escalated but this wonderful escalation team are doing nothing at all, other than accepting Openreach excuses.
Some of my text messages say " we are waiting for council permission", then the next one says "Openreach have had council permission" but the latest ones are back to "Openreach are waiting for council permission"!!!! You would think that someone in BT would pick up on this!!!
BT will not give me the location of the work needed either they say Opnereach do not have this one thier system, because the council keep telling me that no permission has been requested.

  • What is the cost for apple to fix display

Macbook display is blacking out as the lid is moved backward. From other research it appears to be a cable shorting out. Wondering what's the ballpark cost for Apple to fix this at a local store. Or would it be cheaper to buy a new macbook.
    Thanks

It really depends on what the actual problem is, and AFAIK Apple doesn't list any prices for store repairs anywhere.
