Need help!!!!.....I lost my Restore &

I use Ibook G4 1.33 and now I have a big problem.I just came back from my long weekend and found that my box of ibook lost but I brought it with me so I lost all of my software Install and Restore.
Now I use Power Mac G4 but It can't help antway If anyone can help me or tell me how and where to find out and ask who to help.

Flippo is right. AppleCare Support in your area can replace your install/restore disk(s). In the U.S., the charge is usually around $60 for lost disks. This price is less than the retail price for a copy of Mac OS X ($129) and that wouldn't include all the extra software like iLife or the games that came with it.

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

Need help fixing an unintendedly restored iphone 4S

3 days ago I ACCIDENTALLY restored my Iphone to an older update, not realizing that I had not backed up to Icloud in 77 days.
Now I lost all my recent photos, notes, and other important things I had on my phone.
Question: is there any way to restore my phone to what it was on Monday March 24 2014?
I am beginning a serious distaste for Apple for these mishaps. Although it is partly my fault and carelessness, nonetheless, losing all your data like this just plain *****.
If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful. I tried restoring it to some of the pull down options, each time it got worse...now I have less of my music, really old photos I'd already saved on another drive... Help please!

It seems to be entirely your fault.
The iphone is not a storage device. It simply mirrors the selected content of your computer/cloud service and allows that info to be portable. Everything should be kept on your computer and/or could service. Nothing should only be on the iphone.

Need help with lost iMovie project.

I was creating an iMovie project for school and needed to save it on a USB, so I clicked on 'Export Movie' from the 'Share' options menu in iMovie. I chose the type I wanted it saved in (viewing for computers) and then a smaller screen in iMovie popped up saying it was exporting the movie, or something like that. It took about a good 30 minutes and my project was a 7 minute movie with film clips, music, transitions, ect. I exported this project to my USB but when it finished it wasn't on there and when I finally found it on the Mac somewhere, I went to drag it into my USB but it said it was full. I then dragged the project onto my desktop and tried to open it to see if it worked. When I did the iMovie icon jumped once and stopped. I clicked on iMovie and it was still there in the projects screen. I then decided to close iMovie and open the project again from my desktop to see if it would play like a normal movie but once I clicked it the iMovie icon jumped again, opened but my project that I was trying to open was not there anymore and wouldn't open from my desktop file. I cannot open it at all and view it, it has been lost from my iMovie. Is there a way that I can get it back? Really need some help with this.

Need help overseas--lost contact data

I last synchorized my iPhone 3GS with my desktop in the US. I am in Turkey with no AT&T compatible service. Have been using iPhone as an organizer to access my contacts data. When I had to shutoff and turn on the phone I discovered that all my contact data was lost. I do not understand why. I also do not know if there is any way to restore it before going back to the US.
Appreciate any help/advice.

A backup copy on itself?... No sorry. If you do not have physical access to the data, you are stuck until you get home. Even when you return, you will have to be careful that the phone does not overwrite the data on your PC. iTunes tends to assume the copy on the phone prevails, unless you have turned off automatic sync.

I need help with iCloud and restoring

I have an app and in order to transfer the account of the app, it says: "If you still have your old device, please sync/back up your account to either iTunes or iCloud. Next, sync your new device with either iTunes or iCloud and restore data."
I have no idea what to do with iCloud. I have my old iPhone 5 and I would like to transfer my account to my iPhone 5c. I don't have an iTunes setup for either of these devices. I just recently backed up all my pictures and videos and data into iCloud on my iPhone 5c. I have two different iCloud accounts, one for my iPhone 5 and one for my iPhone 5c. If I were to sync my old device and restore the data onto my new device, will it restore ALL the data? Will it delete any data from my old device or my new device? Can i just restore the data for one app? If possible, how?
The thing is that I dont need or want any data from my old device or than the account/data from that one app onto my new iPhone 5c.
Also, my iPhone 5c has the latest iOS. But my iPhone 5 still doesn't even have iOS 7, will this affect anything? Should I update it to iOS 7.0.3?

Reformatting Computer's Hardrive: Need help with Backup and Restore?

Hi,
I'm getting ready to reformat my hardrive and I'm backing up all of my files. All apps will be reinstalled after the drive is formatted.
I have a ton of music that I've purchased from itunes and mp3s that I've ripped from my CDs in my main itunes folder. I will backup this folder (if necessary). Do I need to back up the licenses? If so, where are they stored? Or, what's the best and most efficient way to go about this backup and restore process? If my Ipod has all my music/videos, will it just copy all the music/videos back to my newly reformatted hardrive while maintaining the original folder structure? I assume I will have to install a fresh copy of itunes first. Also, I'm worried about the licensing for the purchased music. Is there something special I need to do with these files?
I appreciate it if someone can give me the detailed steps to go about this without issue. I'm thinking this is a pretty easy question to all the techies out there...

Back up or copy the iTunes folder. There are no licenses to worry about, buy Deauthorize your computer in iTunes before you reformat. After you restore everything play one of the songs you purchased from the iTunes Store and enter your Apple ID and password to Authorize your computer.

Hi, i put my ipod on charge through my usb, my music is on my ipod, but my computer is telling me that the ipod is synced with another itunes library. do you want to erase this ipod and sync with this itunes library, i have only synced with this one computer please help!!!

I don't know why your iPod is doing exactly, but I do know that if the music on your iPod is no longer in your iTunes library, you'll need to copy it back over to it. I say this because your only solution now is to *Erase and Sync* as it says.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

1/How can I restore from a such backup? If a hard disk crash occured on thursday, how can I restore and recover from an online which backup an old controlfile and without online redo?
2/ What's the method to reover archives from an offline backup. With this mode, all files are coherent. Does oracle detetcs that archives are more recent than redo? How can I apply these files?

them to start my database? Do i have to resetlogs?any cancel based recovery will need a resetlogs. If the online redo logs are part of cold backup then you dont need them during recovery.

Need help did the wrong restore

Please HELP!
I was having problems with a program so I thought I would restore it. I have a 1 year old macbook pro and a 1TB my passport. I went to restore what I thought was last month but it was the year before! So now I have two of almost everything and most things won't open! (I know this was stupid but I was running on zero sleep.) I thought I did a current backup and would restore it to it's original place but I think that just made it worse. I looked up a lot of information trying to fix it but there was so much info and it was frustrating trying to weed through. If anyone out there can help I would appreciate it so much!!!!

If you have overwritten the most current backup any amount, and have no other, stop using the computer right now, and pull the plug and if there is a removable battery, remove it. If there isn't a removable battery, hold the power button until it shuts down. Data recovery while slim in chance once overwriting takes place, reduces even more with each rewrite. Desperatly need help retrieving lost files

Recently my Macbook Pro was getting stuck during the start up routine
(the spinning icon would just continue to spin on endlessly) foolishly perhaps I reloaded the OS and it once again starts up correctly.
My problem is now all my photos, music, and personal documents are no where to be found, the amount of free space on the hard drive suggests they are still on the computer somewhere howevere I don't know where to locate them.
Please help with any information about how to retrive my documents, it would be greatly appreciated...and yes I did have everything backed up with TM but everything on TM is missing also.

If you chose the Erase & Install method of installation, you will need to use a data recovery utility application such as one of these:
Data Rescue II
FileSalvage
VirtualLab
All three come in demo versions that will show you what the full version could recover before you are asked to buy it. Check before using any of them to make sure the latest version is Leopard-compatible; I haven't checked these links lately. You will have to have a second hard drive on which to save anything that is recovered.
