Is it possible toextend the functionality of response headers through servlets

You can add extra header information through the use of the HttpServletResponse.setHeader( String name, String value ) or HttpServletResponse.addHeader( String name, String value ).

folder but it didn't work, but if I add the .htm or .html it works.

I want to get the transient response of RL circuit....i can get the increasing exponential graph in multisim 7 during simulation.....but i am getting a decreasing exponential curve(i.e,decay response) in multisim 11 when i do the same procedure as i did in multisim 7.....how can i get the initial or growth transient response for RL circuit in multisim 11 so that i can get increasing exponential curve....which satisfies time constant = L/RHello,
The process is the same for any circuit (in this case it is an RC circuit which you sent me). You can find the response on the voltage (which I think it's what you're looking for) at any point of the circuit, as well as any parameter really (R,V,I,L..etc).
Please refer to the image attached (an analysis on the voltage at an inductor and the wires connected to it).
The way to set it up (once you're in the transient analysis set up) is, select the Output tab, under Variables in circuit, you can select which parameters to take. V(1) and V(2) refer to the voltage in the circuit at Net 1/2 (or wire 1/2).
This differs from the voltage change within the capacitor/inductor/resistor. If you would like to see the voltage change of an inductor/capacitor/resistor/etc, you can select under the More options box, the button Add device/model parameter, which will take you to a window to select the device type, its name (in the circuit) and the parameter which you wish to analyse. Once you click on Simulate, you can select Cursor >> Show Cursors, to view information for y and x axis (like rise time, decay time, voltage difference...etc)

Need help with modifying IDS Sensor in WLC; Null Probe Response problem.
I need help in figuring out how to handle a NULL Probe Response report we are getting from our WCS.
We are getting the following alert from our WCS:
1. Message: IDS 'NULL probe resp 2' Signature attack cleared on AP 'XXXAP_#2' protocol '802.11b/g' on Controller '161.201.97.8'. The Signature description is 'NULL Probe Response - No SSID element'. - Controller Name: XXX-XXXX-XX
And
1. Message: IDS 'NULL probe resp 2' Signature attack detected on AP 'XXXAP#2' protocol '802.11b/g' on Controller '161.201.97.8'. The Signature description is 'NULL Probe Response - No SSID element', with precedence '3'. The attacker's mac address is 'ac:86:74:1e:15:5f', channel number is '5', and the number of detections is '1'. - Controller Name: XXX-XXXX-XX.
Is this something to be concerned with in terms of a potential attack, or should I ignore these types of emails?
According to a previous post here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/10731846/wireless-system-has-detected-possible-intrusion-attack-signature I need to modify my IDS Signature folder in the WLC. I have no idea how to modify the file itself into the format needed to prevent these intrusions. Could somebody please help me correctly enter the right format needed for this file, or correct me in my thinking. I assume I'm in the right direction but if anyone has further information that could be helpful it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.The IDS signatures are stored in a file called wlc-sig_std.sig. That file can be edited via GUI by navigating to Security > Wireless Protection Policy > Standard Signatures. The links that you shared contain links to Cisco documentation that leave out the important parts of the documentation. The only way to get that documentation is to pull the existing signatures from the WLC using Commands > Upload File. Read that file for details on the syntax, then adjust your values in the GUI. I've attached a text document with the standard signature file.

Hello. My mac can't connect to my time capsule. There is no response and I can't put it back to the originals definitions because all my files are there and I can´t loose them. (sorry about my bad english, but I really need help!)
Your files are unaffected by a reset.. no reset via the reset button on the TC harms, deletes or does anything to your files.
The Factory Reset universal
Unplug your TC/AE. Hold in reset. and power the TC/AE back on.. all without releasing reset and keep holding in for about 10sec. The time is not important.. it is the front LED rapid flashing that indicates you are in factory mode.
Release reset.
If it doesn’t flash rapidly you have released reset at some point and try again.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC/AE will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
Here is how to do a fully manual setup for TC which is sometimes necessary with Mavericks in particular.

Need Help to Prevent DDOS at application layer to protect Web server ?
Please guide the solutions for DDOS attack. I am facing this attack and after some investigation I found some details what is up against me
Here are some details of the attack which is most similar in my situation.
In considering the ramifications of a slow denial of service attack against particular services, rather than flooding networks, a concept emerged that would allow a single machine to take down another machine's web server with minimal bandwidth and side effects on unrelated services and ports. The ideal situation for many denial of service attacks is where all other services remain intact but the webserver itself is completely inaccessible. Slowloris was born from this concept, and is therefore relatively very stealthy compared to most flooding tools.
Slowloris holds connections open by sending partial HTTP requests. It continues to send subsequent headers at regular intervals to keep the sockets from closing. In this way webservers can be quickly tied up. In particular, servers that have threading will tend to be vulnerable, by virtue of the fact that they attempt to limit the amount of threading they'll allow. Slowloris must wait for all the sockets to become available before it's successful at consuming them, so if it's a high traffic website, it may take a while for the site to free up it's sockets. So while you may be unable to see the website from your vantage point, others may still be able to see it until all sockets are freed by them and consumed by Slowloris. This is because other users of the system must finish their requests before the sockets become available for Slowloris to consume. If others re-initiate their connections in that brief time-period they'll still be able to see the site. So it's a bit of a race condition, but one that Slowloris will eventually always win - and sooner than later.
Slowloris also has a few stealth features built into it. Firstly, it can be changed to send different host headers, if your target is a virtual host and logs are stored seperately per virtual host. But most importantly, while the attack is underway, the log file won't be written until the request is completed. So you can keep a server down for minutes at a time without a single log file entry showing up to warn someone who might watching in that instant. Of course once your attack stops or once the session gets shut down there will be several hundred 400 errors in the web server logs. That's unavoidable as Slowloris sits today, although it may be possible to turn them into 200 OK messages instead by completing a valid request, but Slowloris doesn't yet do that.
Please suggest any solutions with product that can help to prevent this problem with some guidance of the feature of that product to specifically prevent this type of attack. I already a many cisco devices like ASA, IPS, Cisco guard etc. just need some guidance

Any tool will have some sort of trend/chracterstic that can be used to filter or throttle it out. Take skype for an example; even with all its complexity vendors managed to find days to detect it on the network and take corrective actions. However its always a catch-up game, developers continually work to make their applications or protocols more stealthy and the vendors have to keep up with this challenge.
So you would need to understand this trend/chracterstic of the attack, and then filter out using an access control mechanism, IMHO the most appropriate would be a web application firewall (WAF), Cisco used to have one but I think it is EOS soon:

Finally, you can check the bugtracker to see if anyone else has reported the same problem. Do some research before posting to save yourself and others time. Don't just post a problem and expect everyone else to do your work for you. Archers help those who (at least try to) help themselves.
Use an explanatory subject title.
Titles such as "this doesn't work, wtf???" do not help and make people roll their eyes. Try to summarize the problem in the title so someone opening the thread has an idea of what your post is about. This will also increase the chance of someone who can solve your problem finding your thread.
Explain the problem clearly and provide detailed information.
Again, "it's just broken" and similar "descriptions" don't tell anyone anything. Give all the relevant information that you can think of, such as the specific error that you're getting, system information (e.g. soundcards for audio problems, network setup for connection problems), when the problem started and what might have caused it, relevant logs, relevant system configuration files, etc. Include information about anything that you've tried so far to solve the problem. You can also read this extensive guide on getting help.
Be patient and polite.
Sometimes it takes time to get a reply. Do not bump your thread every 3 hours with messages like "come on, help me!!!". Also, don't be rude to people who misunderstand your problem or reply with suggestions that don't work. Instead, politely try to explain your problem more clearly.
Mark the thread as [SOLVED] once you've found a solution.
Once you've found the solution, edit your original post and add "[SOLVED]" to the beginning of the subject title. This way others with similar problems will be able to find the solution faster.
