Need help on flash animation 3.0 Please do help. thanks

i am currently doing a project on actionscript 3.0 and i am having so much trouble with it. the e-book my teacher send us doesnt help, too many words and i dont understand he also wont teach us.
I am trying to make a sound wave like transverse and longitudinal wave but i ait sure how to draw as all my group mates drawing are so 2D, compared to the 3D ones. i am trying to make the the wave move longitudinal and enter parameters into the flash.
I also would really want to know if AS2.0 SWF file into a AS3.0 Flash is available. i cant find any codes on that.
If anyone is willing to help me do i am willing to pay thats if ur in singapore, cause i really need help if not me and my groupmates are goners.

Need help with flash animation and jump to slide

I have been researching for days on how to build a menu in
flash 8 that has links to jump to a slide later in the captivate
lesson.
The goal:
I want to have a tab - when clicked on - opens up and shows a
table of contents. Click on an item and it will jump to that slide.
Method:
I used flash 8 to build a tab and pop up menu. Works great.
But how do I make the buttons or links to jump to slide?
Is it possible to:
* - use a roll over image in captivate - pause image and
click on a button to pop over to the slide - no flash menus...just
action script to pause and allow clicking.
* - use a FS Command script from inside the captivate movie
- java call in button proprieties.
* - write the menu in flash - use action script to say "on
release - jump to slide" or "on release - jump to frame" - I have a
frame counter that I can find the frame number of the slide - but
how would you get the script to work.
Please Help -
Flash not a good friend of mine - so any time I can avoid --
is great...but it is what it is - i do anything to get it to work.

I didn't understand a few things here.
1. Are you trying these things using Adobe Presenter or this is just plain Powerpoint you are talking about?
2. Are you trying to view the output on the Slide show or presenter output
If you are doing it for PowerPoint slide show, try setting the animations using with previous and after previous
1. first insert the video. Set it to play automatically
2. Insert the first text box. Apply animation on it saying "with Previous". This will make the animation play as soon as the video starts. If you want some delay apply some delay for the animation in the animation pane, such that the animation appears when the video has content sound
3. For the remaining text boxes apply animations as "after Previous". This will make the animations play after the previous animation has completed.
4. Now all you have to do is applay delay to the animations to adjust them as and how you want

Flash is not supported on the iPad - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Do the sites that you want to use have non-flash versions and/or have their own app in the iTunes app store ? If not then browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites.

hi every body I need to add JList to Panel in a JTabbedPaneand having three columns by gridlayout,I have to add Jlist elements in one column and in the second one get elements from the database and place them in this column with a check and in third column i have some buttons
in the first column add Jlist elements around 10 elements
in the second column can we use check(true/false) for the data which we got from the database,when we uncheck here the list corresponding in the first should be disabled.

Using Mac OSX 10.95, Says i need to update Flash, but i have latest version HELP?

Hi, i am having issues watching any video's requiring flash player.
Example: I try to watch a normal Youtube Video, but i get a black screen saying flash player in the middle.
when i press it, it takes me to Adobe website asking me to update my flash player, but when i go through the process of install on mac 10.95,
Downloads Folder > AdobeFlashinstaller.dmg > install... i get this message: " a newer version of Adobe Flash Player is Already installed on this Computer"
What do i do to resolve this issue, as i use Youtube to study.
and I'm falling behind!.

ok just got my itouch today and tried to download itunes it got to the part where the green is almost finished and it says on the status bar that it is starting services then a thing pops up and says ipod service modulestopped working and was closed then in small lettering under that it says a problem caused the application to stop working i have looked around to see if i could find something that might help and have found nothing so please someone help me

Some questions aimed at narrowing in even further on possible culprits.
(1) Does your QuickTime Player launch, or do you get an error message of some kind when you try to launch that?
(2) If your QuickTime seems to be launching fine, try (by way of experiment) disabling the BonJour Service.
In your Start Menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Maximise the window to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the BonJour Service and select "Properties". In the "General" tab, set Start-up type to "Disabled".
Restart the PC, and try launching iTunes again. Does it launch this time?
If iTunes launches with the BonJour Service disabled, by any chance do you have a recent version of IOBit's Advanced SystemCare utility currently installed on the PC? If so, try uninstalling and reinstalling Advanced SystemCare. Can you launch iTunes without having to disable the BonJour Service now?

I can not export Flash animations successfully as a Quick Time Video. Please Help...

I have been trying to both publish and export a Flash
animation from a native Flash file as a Quicktime .mov file. I am
using Flash 8 and have Quicktime 7.1.3 installed on my Mac running
OSX 10.4.8 - I get an error message every time I try to publish the
animation as Quicktime saying "An error occurred because a required
Quick Time component could not be found." My Quick Time program
works perfectly in all other programs. I tried it on another
computer and got the same error. I tried several different settings
and worked through the Flash Help Guide with no luck.
I also tried to do File / Export / Export Movie / Quick Time
Video. When I use this option it does successfully complete an
export but Quicktime file ".mov" has missing graphics and no sound
from the original Flash animation. Can you help me please. I need
to import this animation in a Keynote presentation ultimately.

Also - try setting publish settings to flash player 5 - you
may lose some flash 8 features if you
are using any.
Personally - I find the best solution is SWF2Video
(www.flashants.com) but I am afraid there's no
Mac version (i think).
Usually Macs are better than PCs when it comes to export to
quicktime because you have the option of
choosing quicktime video - but make sure, if you are
exporting to a true video (fixed frame rate)
format you do not use movie clips or actionscript at all
(convert all movie clips to graphic or
place on main timeline).

Use a different device.
Adobe did not develop Flash for iOS devices and has ended all Flash development for all mobile devices.
You could try a different browser from the App store such as Skyfire or iSwifter.

If you are talking about Safari on the iPad, there is no version of Adobe Flash for iOS and there never has been. Clear Safari, close the app and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you are talking about Safari on your Mac, you are in the wrong forum. But I would still clear the cache, quit Safari and restart the Mac.
