Hi I just accidently synced the wrong phone to a different iphone back-up, now its backed up with the wrong details, is there any way of restoring the original contacts and pictures?
Please help. Its not my phone?
Restore it with the correct backup for the device.
If not backup exists for the device, then there is nothing that can be done.

I have been backing up my iphone to a cloud. Somehow half my "Notes" are missing today. How do I restore them from the cloud backup?
Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial device setup process, which requires first erasing your phone. If you have any newer data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. When you're done, go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. Then go through the setup screens on your phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Be sure it is connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.
Apple's documention doesn't make it clear whether or not notes are included in the iCloud backup. Hopefully this will restore your missing notes. -
Can i use wifi to transfer contacts, photos, messages etc- how??
Try this one and see if it helps:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Need help in restoring back to default Wallpaper
Hi,
My friend did change the IPad Wallpaper and when i try to restore it back to the original wall paper. I don't find it at all. Now how do i restore back to the
default wallpaper.
I did try the below options to restore
1. Reset Home Screen Layout
2. Reset all Settinggs
3. Default by pressing Home Key + Sleep/Wake Button for 10 secs until Apple Logo appears
But none helped to restore it. Need help in restoring back to old wallpaper.

ramananJames, in case you are having a problem, these are the steps:
1. Restart the computer holding the Command and R keys
2. In the OS X Utilities window, select Disk Utility and click continue
3. From the sidebar, select your internal disk drive
4. Click the Erase tab near the top of the Disk Utility window
5. Choose Mac OS Extended (Journales) from the pop-up menu
6. Change the name of the disk drive if you want to
7. Click the Erase button near the bottom right of the Disk Utility window
8. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Erase
9. From the menu bar, choose Disk Utility > Quit Disk Utility
10. In the OS X Utilities winddow, select Reinstall OS X and click Continue
11. In the Install OS X window, click Continue
12. Read and licenss agreement and click Agree
13. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Agree
14. Select your computer's disk drive form the list of available volumes, click Install
The installer will recreate an OS X Recovery HD, and then restart to the newly created OS X Recovery HD, and then continue with the remainder of the isntall process. This second part may take a while so be patient. When it completes, the iMac will restart again into the installed copy of Mac OS X as a new machine. You will be greeted by the full Setup Assistant. -
I updated my phone to ios7 and it told me to connect to iTunes. When I did the phone said it needed to be restored. I did this and then iTunes said it can't be as it isn't eligible so now my phone won't turn on. Help please!

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -

My iPhone 4s is not switching on, I connected it to itunes thru my Windows 7 laptop and it says phone needs to be restored. I clicked okay and it started the process however the progress bar with the apple logo is on the screen, progress in the bar did not start yet after 5 hours. Some one please hep me.
I did put it in DFU mode but its still not working, although everytime it shows your iphone needs to be restored. Kindly help.

Help! I used to upload photos via ios and it was always published up to my 5th photos, but on the 6th, it just go to ios photos album and was not published on my fb's timeline...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

As the title has stated, I have recently installed Windows XP on my Bootcamp Partition. I am in need of the "Windows Support Software". I am assumeing that is the information that has the Drivers and what not that allow me o properly use my Mac with windows. If anyone can help me locate this inforamtion i would be greatly.... Greatfull.
P.S. The bootcamp assistant is telling me that the Windows Support Sofware canot be found.You both would have had correct awnsers, but i have a Macbook that is close to three years old. And i can't seem to find my Disc. The only reason i haven't ordered a new one in case of emergencies is I plan on upgrading to the new OS in less then a month.

Need help re-synching iPods with new computer and getting iTunes to recognize our iPods (it doesn't even recognize them when they're plugged in).
Hubby wiped my harddrive for me, so now I need to get everything back in proper places. I'm using windows XP and installed iTunes once again (I believe it's version 8). I also installed all of my iTunes songs. Now I need to know where to go from here. We have 3 iPods and I need to get them all synched once again. I know how to create different libraries for each of us, but I can't figure out how to get our songs back into our iTunes libraries. When I open iTunes and plug in an iPod, iTunes doesn't even show that an iPod is plugged in.
What do I do now to get each of our iPods synched with our own libraries?

Okay, now how do I synch all of our ipods with our individual libraries (I don't want all of my kids' songs and vice versa)? We each have hundreds of songs on our ipods that we don't want to lose.

When my album is ready for purchase..it assembles..but then won't transfer completely to purchase
it starts to transferring the MG but stops each time and says a error with a file has occurred and to hit the retry button or try later. Anyone had this problem? the book is approx 100 pages
