Need help to set wireless Linksys Router WRT150N to work with Nettalk Duo

I have Linksys Router WRT150N , connect to it Nettalk Duo but there is no ring tone, the orange light is flashing trying to connect, then i have the green light blinking then go Red.
I thied to call Nettalk but no answer to their phone, chat with customer support at last they said someone from technical support will call back, but that not happen since two weeks.
I make several tickets to them but no reply, service is very bad.
Please any help to configer inside the router to recognise Nettalk, i have cable internet they said there is no blockage from there side.

Hey sam63. Based from what I've read, RED lights means the device has failed to connect to the network. I'd suggest that you perform a powercycle. Unplug the power of the NetTalk Duo and the router for 30 seconds. Once done, power on the NetTalk first then, the router. Also, make sure that it is properly connected to the router's Ethernet port and the router is working online. You may try using another Ethernet cord or plug it into another Ethernet port.

Hi all,
I came back after a 3 month work absence (and many days power outages, according to the neighbors), to find that my system can no longer connect to the internet using the Verizon Westell 6100 modem to a Linksys wrt54G router to 2 PCs!
I reset the Westell modem and directly connected the PC to it and THAT works okay, but put the router back in the mix (so I can connect my other PC) and nothing works!
I have read on this forum about 'Bridgeing" the Westell modem but nothing about setting up the router.
Can someone PLEASE give me explicit instructions on how to:
    1.) set up the Westell modem in this "Bridge" mode,
    2.) Set up the Linksys router to work with the modem again??
    3.) Tell me why the old setup no longer works, did verizon change something for this modem?

the router has two connections. one is called a WAN and that is a wide area network, and it means the internet in your case. and one is called a LAN, local area network.
what you saw means - that the way you connect to your internet is through PPPoE, a username and a password.
and then way your LAN connects is DHCP, how all of your local computers connect. This is important, because after you bridge the westell, you will be setting your Linksys up for PPPoE connection, and NOT DHCP. if you don't do this step, then you will never connect.
that is fine, and normal. if you follow the instructions at the link provided - you will be able to connect real easily.
you will want to bridge the westell just follow the instructions for "If your Westell uses the red and black Verizon firmware:"

Hello, we have been experiencing trouble with our router. Using our wireless router we cannot connect to the internet. We use a cable to connect the modem to the router to the computer.
This problem first occured when a buddy of mine connectred to our wireless signal with his Xbox-360 Wireless adaptor. After that we could not connect to the internet using our router.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Need help deciding on a Linksys Router

In my quest to setup my first home network, I've narrowed my wireless router search down to two. I've come down to the WRT310N & WRT610N due to their great overall functionality, speed and security with their WPA/WPA2 support & SPI firewall. With that said, what would I really have to gain if I picked the WRT610N over the WRT310N?

First of all, as far as I know, all current models of Linksys wireless routers have SPI firewall, and WPA/WPA2 support. Also note that to take advantage of wireless n speed, you must use wireless n adapters in your computers. If you have wireless g adapters, you will revert to a wireless g connection.
Also note that there is a significant difference between "Connection speed" and "data transfer speed". For example, wireless g connects at 54 Mbps, but transfers data at 15 to 25 Mbps at best. Likewise wireless n connects as fast as 200 to 300 Mbps, but data transfer speeds have generally been in the range of 20 to 70 Mbps.
The primary advantages of the WRT610N over the WRT310N are:
1) The 610 supports Dual band (simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz connections). Most wireless n adapters use only the 2.4 GHz band. However, there are a few wireless n adapters that can connect to either band, and when they connect through the 5.0 GHz band, higher wireless n bandwidth can be achieved. This higher wireless bandwidth is mainly a benefit to those who routinely transfer large files wirelessly, such as wireless video streaming from a home server. This router would also allow you (assuming you had 5.0 GHz wireless n adapters) to connect your wireless n users at 5.0 GHz, while connecting your wireless g users at 2.4 GHz -- this would be an advantage to those who were upgrading to 5.0 GHz wireless n, but who still had some wireless g users on their network.
2) The 610 has a USB port, suitable for connecting backup storage. Note that some users have complained that the port is somewhat slow, so while it may work for ordinary file backups, it might not be suitable to stream your video from it.

Need help connecting to home computer on Aiport from work with afp://

My computer at home has File Sharing enabled and is connected to a wireless network.
I want to connect to my computer at home from work using afp://
It is my experience I would connect to the computer with this format afp://[email protected] if it is not connected to the Aiport. But since it is using the airport, that IP address only connects to the router. How can I then tell the router which 10.0.1.* computer to connect to?
Is there a afp:// format to use ?!?: afp://[email protected] (just an example?)

And that is what evern other forum and webiste tells me. But no one or nothing tells me how. This iks the closest I have found:

I need help in setting up a wireless connection.
I have a 2005 iMac G5 and currently I am using a Qwest DSL Modem with a Belkin router.
Qwest suggested that I buy a new wireless modem/router. It may be the Motorola 3347 or another wireless modem. I am worried about security when on the internet and have read about changing the SSID password and use the WPA for encryption. All of this is a mystery to me.
Also, I would like to buy from Directv the Linksys wireless adapter to use on my HD-DVR receiver to get their “On Demand Movies.”
My question is, does my iMac G5 have all of the security I need to use a wireless modem, and with the Linksys adapter can I view my photos or DVD’s in iMovie wirelessly to my TV in the living room?
I am concerned about security with a wireless setup, but it seems that all of the new TV’s have the ability to have a wireless connection to the internet.
Any suggestions would help me.

HELP I have a wireless Linksys router WRT54G connected through my cable company broadband modem on a Mac. I have another computer to which I installed wireless capability because it didn't come with it. This required attching some piece of equipment to the back of the PC which enabled it to get on the internet without another cable modem. My question is this. If I get an iphone or a laptop(with built in wireless ability) will I automatically be able to go on the web because of the router on the Mac.

My son is having trouble with his World of Warcraft latency. It starts off excellent but tanks in about 10 secs after he starts playing. I've concluded it must be something with the router. I've tried most of the WoW fixes for latency, but I get same behaviour.
I note some other message threads of same problem, but no fixes. Anybody help?

Log into 192.168.1.1 on your browser (no username, password is admin). Set the MTU to manual and change the size to 1400. Check WoW documentation for tcp/udp ports that need to be opened on the router.

its really simple to set up a network, first make sure that all computers are in the same workgroup by right clicking on my computer, then properities, then computer name.
there you can make the setting for the work group
do not use the default one, create your own, do this for each computer.
next thing is to choose any folder that you want to share and right click on it, select sharing, then check the two boxes to share this folder and the other one to allow others to make changes to this folder.
doing this bypasses the trouble od setting up passwords for right now.
you should not have the network up and running with folders being shared with all in that workgroup.
you may want to check the manual for vesta as it may do things a bit differant that xp
you could also run the create a network wizard in the xp system.

Your images are not stored in the catalog. They are stored in folders on your computer. If you imported images that were already on your computer using the "Add" Option they are still in that same folder. ... Anyway, iPads don't have printers directly set up. You might interface with a printer over a WiFi. That could be done either using Apple's AirPrint (if the printer is new enough) or maybe you have Epson's iPrint utility.
If you have the iPrint utility, you simply open the utility, click the "maintenance" button in the lower left, and select the "Printer" on the top and set it up there.

Slow to open and in force quit "Photoshop not responding" At this point should I uninstall and start over.
