Need help with backing up problems with Iphone 4

I just recently backed up my iphone because I accidently deleted all content on phone... So when i got home a day later i backed up my phone and everything is back except apps, contacts, and music. so my phone looks almost brand new. and now when i plug it in it has the option to back it up or start it new again AFTER i had already backed it up several times.... Anyone know a solution to my frustrating problem??

10 GB is pretty marginal. The problem is that previous backups were "incremental", recording only changes to the previous backup. Now you are making a full backup of the iPhone 5 (iTunes will keep the last iPhone 4 backup around) so you need enough free disk to do a complete backup rather than incremental.
Try restarting your Mac. That usually frees up a lot of memory (temporarily).

My sound card is only about 2-3 weeks old and was running fine uptill about a few days ago then it started having some problems the first was it wouldn't play audio in windows media player movie or music, it worked fine using other programs to play movies or music. Another problem I'm gettin is that the volume will be much lower than it should and this doesn't matter what program I use this does go away sometimes although I still dont know what causes it. I'm also getting intermittent sound problems in BF2 like not hearing sound when I switch to rear view which didn't happen before. I've tried trouble shooting it myself but to no avail. I tried installing it on my other hard dri've which is clean but even though I did a full installation it won't even recognize the card and says there is a prolem with the drivers. I can't understand why my sound card won't work on my second hard dri've and why I am having problems with it on my first. If anyone could help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. By the way I have a DFI LanParty NF4 Sli-DR, AMD Atholon 64 3000+, XFX 6800GS PCI-Express 256MB, 2GB OCZ Gold Dual Channel DDR 400,Ultra 500watt PSU, Logitech Z-5500 5. Speakers. My first hard dri've is a Western Digital Caviar SE6 SATA 2 and my second hard dri've is a Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 SATA 2, they are both 250GB and are seperate they aren't connected to my motherboard or even on at the same time.Message Edited by RogueChaos on 05-3-2006 05:05 PM

Need Help Fast! Big Problem with iRecruitment after Clone.

I recently cloned my iRecruitment node (And all other nodes) to new windows server. All the other nodes work fine, no problems. However iRec does not work.
Any help would be great!!!!

At the same time I also cloned onto a new set of Test servers and those work fine.

If I use the “nvciebizirec.nvci.org:80” name the iRec application works just fine from my intranet. When I change these values below to use the name needed to be used externally “irecruitment.nevadacancerinstitute.org:80” iRec fails to work, I get to the "iRecruitment Visitor Home Page" but nothing works. I get kicked back to the "i Recruitment Visitor Home Page".

Need Help FAST||! Big Problem with Oracle on Windows.

I have Oracle 9.2.0.6 on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2. My oracle SID in XRTY01PD. The OracleServiceXRTY01PD Startup Type is Automatic.
The Service starts but the database does not open. When I go to a command prompt and log into SQLPlus and connect using "/ as sysdba" I get connected to a idle instance. I tell it to Startup and it starts and opens no problem. No errors in the alter log or the event viewer.
I found a note: 1022458.6 dated 2007, that Oracle on NT has to have a 4 character SID. I can not believe that is this day and age I can only have 4 characters in the SID? Is this the case with Windows 2003? Does anyone know a work around for this?

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

If you are using Windows Vista go to All Programs/Palm and click on the folder and select Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync with the USB cable. If you are using the Windows XP go to Start/Programs/Palm/Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync. If you don’t have the palm folder at all on your PC you have to install it. Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected. Hope this helps.. good luck!
