Have you tried the line inputs on the back of your FirePod? If you update its firmware (not sure if you will need to or not), I seem to remember hearing that the FirePod can run without FW connection, i.e. stand alone. In this mode with the outs from your mixer into line ins 1-2 (2nd from left on the back) it should work fine. I say should because I have never tried. However, these are used for returns from an external effects unit. I assume here, and the important word is assume, that there are two so that they can be used as a stereo send or as a mono send. Worth a try! Let us know how it goes.

I have a cleaner copy now after someone suggested GIMP, so played with it last night - though couldn't figure out transparency - that was clear on converter- just not cooperative till these wonderful directions.
So now I know how to do it without messing with the pic, and with messing with it - both good lessons and got a bit brighter color out of the deal.

Need some help with button JavaScript for Save As event.

Hi,
I'm using Adobe Acrobat X Pro and am completely new to scripting forms in Adobe (completely new to Adobe Acrobat as well!). On a form there is a save button that opens the Save As dialog by using a trigger (Mouse Up) and action (Execute a menu item - File>Save As...>PDF...) and this works fine, however, I want to now use javascript to modify this button's behavior so that is uses a trigger (Mouse Up) and action (Run a JavaScript), and I want that JavaScript to combine the text values from two form fields (a location Dropdown and a date Text field) and use this concateneated string + ".pdf" as the filename when it opens the Save As dialog. Make sense?
This is what I have added to the button as a JavaScript so far I am using a test string at the moment ("NewFile.pdf") and will add the concatenated string to the script after I know the script is working as it should.

Two issues so far:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the response! If I can bypass the Save As dialog and save the file to a default location using a file name that is contructed from two form field values then that would be perfect. I definitely think it is feasible to have a script file installed locally on each users workstation. I don't quite understand about folder-level security, etc. yet but am eager to learn how to do this stuff if you can give me gentle push in the right direction! Thanks!

Need some Help, Credit Rating effected for what I think is wrong?

Hi All Been a wacther on here for last 12 months or so and in July of last year I purchased my first new home. Credit was around 700, In doing so with furnishing a new home etc I for sure went overboard and got alot more credit cards than i should have. Now its not an issue that i cant "pay" them, i always pay everything on time, and more than min. But i am in a place now that has my Credit Balances close to limit and my only goal is to get rid of all my credit card debt over the next 12-24 months.. Lets say $30,000 total. My concern is that my credit score is now around 625. My problem with this is, it shows as the first reason why "SERIOUS DELINQUENCY" i can tell you without a doubt in the past 6-8Years I have not missed a single payment, on anything, ever... Back in college i had one captial one card and yes i did "settle to pay" at some point but that was SO long ago.. I did have verizon cable bill from when i moved and they couldnt forward my mail and ended up paying that $125 last year prior to buying my house, but that was all just a mistake as i thought i was paid in full, is this what is making the SERS DELN? wonder if Verizon would be able to remove it since i paud it a year ago? Not even sure thats it? Can anyone please advise on what I should do about this?? and I mean just this, I well know that i have to pay my CC debt off 100%, and I will.. Im looking for help on why it reflects SERIOUS DEL> when i know i dont have any?? TY ALL

that is true but if i didnt have a dvd or dvd buner to hand i would still be able to tranfer files etc. and i would still have the mp3s at home so i wouldnt mind losing them temp. plus if there was a dock i could have dropped it in that :P
ok i take your point about you would have no room for music. however the real question is why do you have to have a fixed removable dri've? as i said i am using the MTP firmware so i dont have a partition i just mix files and music. this way i should be able to have a 4.7GB file and 300meg of music or 2.5GB of files and 2.5GB of music. why should it be 2.5GB of music but with a setting of 4GB for the dri've and thus GB of music thus not being able to use the other .5GB for music?
as someone said ipods do pump out track data etc through the bottom port so you get all your info on you car stereo. the only way i see it happening on the zen is if creative make the USB a I^2C port during playback but this is prob not possible and very unlikely given current firmware releases.
dont get me wrong, i picked my zen over an ipod, looks better, has mic, has 5GB storage etc but it just doesnt make the most of its self and im not sure if it even will due to bad design which almost seems like 'apple have put there port on the bottom, lets put ours at the top, yeah that will make us better than apple'.

Need some help building a game for a school project

I have to build a game called quads.
My java knowledge is not the best there is, so i'm looking for some existing code i could use for my game.
Here are some game details.
- The game is played by 2 players (on the same computer).
- both players have 18 square stones.
- the stones are divided in 4 sides,
- each side can be shaped, with horizontal- or vertical lines, gray, or black

- player1 has only gray stones, player2 only black.
- both players have 1 white stone, wich they have to use first.
- the game is over when one of the players can no longer place one of his stones on the board.
What i'm looking for,
I'm looking for a source of a similar game, with:
- a mouse listener, with te option te rotate the selected stone (0, 90, 180, 270), and to move the selected stone.
- enable/disable stone collections. (take turns)

My problems right now are,
- i can't select more than 1 stone
- i can't rotate 1 stone (i did rotate them all, but that's a bit useless)
- i can't make players to take turns.
- i can't move stones, i can only copy them...
So if i can't use source codes, does anyone know a tutorial for all this?

I would like to transfer selected items from my iMac (G4) to a new MacBook Pro using Migration Assistant, Can I selectively choose things to transfer? And are there any problems going from a G4 to an Intel-based machine? I'm mostly interested in transferring iPhoto photos and music from iTunes.

Migrating data other than your home folder may replace Intel components with PowerPC ones on the MacBook Pro, which will cause slow performance. Dragging over applications manually by restarting the old Mac with the T key held down and then placing them in the new Mac's Applications folder will work with many applications, but not all; any applications for which this doesn't work will need to be reinstalled.

[SOLVED] Need some help with binaries move update/upgrade

I'm a bit stumped by the upgrade instructions consequent on the decision to move things into /usr/bin and would like to ask some advice. First, I do get output from the command
pacman -Qqo /bin /sbin /usr/sbin | pacman -Qm -
. The short list of files is

The first problem I have is how to "fix," as the directions stipulate, this situation. Does "fix" here mean manually moving some binaries to /usr/bin? Removing those packages (none of which I currently use) via pacman?
I'm pretty sure I don't have any packages installed from non-official repos on this system, so I'm skipping the step that describes what to do in that case. The third command, i.e.,
find /bin /sbin /usr/sbin -exec pacman -Qo -- {} + >/dev/null
returns no results, so I should be ok there.
Input will be appreciated.

I've run into a hang-up. It's true I wasn't running systemd on the laptop, so I took the steps outlined on the wiki to make the system do that. Then I removed the packages from the laptop that might interfere with the upgrade and ran
pacman -Syu --ignore filesystem,bash
per instructions. That resulted in a whole lot of updates/upgrades to the system. But then, when I went to run
pacman -S bash
, I got a failure: the system lost its wifi connection (to date managed by wicd) and I cannot get it to connect now. Even worse, it won't even go online through the wired NIC: it gets and IP, but no network traffic is traveling to or from the laptop. I don't think it will be a good idea to reboot the system without first upgrading bash, will it (the old bash won't know about the location of key binaries, correct?)? Suggestions about what to try next?

I need some help in adding a search-help to a standard screen-field.
Transaction Code - PP01,
Plan Version - Current Plan (PLVAR = '01'),
Object Type - Position ( OTYPE = 'S'),
Click on Infotype Name - Object ( Infotype 1000) and Create.
I need to add search help to fields Object Abbr (P1000-SHORT) / Object Name (P1000-STEXT).
I want to create one custom table with fields, Position Abb, Position Name, Job. Position Abb should be Primary Key. And when object type is Position (S), I should be able to press F4 for Object Abb/Object Name fields and should return Position Abbr and Position Name.
I specify again, I have to add a new search help to standard screen/field and not to enhance it.
This is HR specific transaction. If someone has done similar thing with some other transation, please let me know.
There is no existing search help for these fields. If sm1 ever tried or has an idea how to add new search help to a standard screen/field.
It's urgent.

Entries that are deleted from SHLP_TAB in this step are not offered in the elementary search help selection. If there is only one entry remaining in SHLP_TAB, the dialog box for selecting elementary search helps is skipped. You may not change the next timepoint.
The timepoint is not accessed again if another elementary search help is to be selected during the dialog.
2. PRESEL1
After selecting an elementary search help. Table INTERFACE has not yet been copied to table SELOPT at this timepoint in the definition of the search help (type SHLP_DESCR_T). This means that you can still influence the attachment of the search help to the screen here. (Table INTERFACE contains the information about how the search help parameters are related to the screen fields).
3. PRESEL
Before sending the dialog box for restricting values. This timepoint is suitable for predefining the value restriction or for completely suppressing or copying the dialog.
4. SELECT
Before selecting the values. If you do not want the default selection, you should copy this timepoint with a search help exit. DISP should be set as the next timepoint.
5. DISP
Before displaying the hit list. This timepoint is suitable for restricting the values to be displayed, e.g. depending on authorizations.
6. RETURN (usually as return value for the next timepoint)
The RETURN timepoint should be returned as the next step if a single hit was selected in a search help exit.
It can make sense to change the F4 flow at this timepoint if control of the process sequence of the Transaction should depend on the selected value (typical example: setting SET/GET parameters). However, you should note that the process will then depend on whether a value was entered manually or with an input help.
7. RETTOP
You only go to this timepoint if the input help is controlled by a collective search help. It directly follows the timepoint RETURN. The search help exit of the collective search help, however, is called at timepoint RETTOP.
8. EXIT (only for return as next timepoint)
The EXIT timepoint should be returned as the next step if the user had the opportunity to terminate the dialog within the search help exit.
9. CREATE
The CREATE timepoint is only accessed if the user selects the function "Create new values". This function is only available if field CUSTTAB of the control string CALLCONTROL was given a value not equal to SPACE earlier on.
The name of the (customizing) table to be maintained is normally entered there. The next step returned after CREATE should be SELECT so that the newly entered value can be selected and then displayed.
10. APP1, APP2, APP3
If further pushbuttons are introduced in the hit list with function module F4UT_LIST_EXIT, these timepoints are introduced. They are accessed when the user presses the corresponding pushbutton.
Note: If the F4 help is controlled by a collective search help, the search help exit of the collective search help is called at timepoints SELONE and RETTOP. (RETTOP only if the user selects a value.) At all other timepoints the search help exit of the selected elementary search help is called.
If the F4 help is controlled by an elementary search help, timepoint RETTOP is not executed. The search help exit of the elementary search help is called at timepoint SELONE (at the

This module has been created as an example for the interface and design of Search help exits in Search help.

I maybe completely off base (i don't have t-mobile) but it was my understanding that you would still need a 'data' plan for a) most of the applications to work and b) to receive service books etc and that the wi-fi would only give you access to 'website' and not the email etc.
If the unit is rebooting, then it would be sign of a bad BB, I would recommend reinstalling the OS using the desktop manager but if you just got the unit and are still in the 15-30 day period (not sure how long t-mobile does a return) I would ask for a replacement unit.
Again, not sure on the top part so hopefully someone else may have an answer for you.
