Need to make an online magazine like the one shown in the tutorial on AdobeTV

It appeared that all I need is InDesignCS6, which I purchased. I now see I also must purchased the digital publishing suite for $395 to make one magazine. Then I must pay Apple $99. We don't want to sell an app. I work for a public school district and this is beyond the budget. The tutorial said that one could make an app viewable on an android, ipad, iphone and desktop which would be perfect. I now see this is something we can't afford. I also read that an interactive pdf which indesign can create, cannot be viewed on ipads. Am I correct that my only option is to make webpages and forget all about the magazine?

Im afraid you are correct in your understanding. (Even if you dont sell the app the delivery process is the same) Plus as Im going through the process for the first time myself I can tell you the actual publishing process after completion of job in indesign is complex, and very frustrating - even to someone who has used Indesign since version 1, there is big and tricky void between Adobe and Apple that has to be crossed. It is taking hours and literally days to resolve.
Once its sorted the results are fabulous but be prepared for a long journey to get there.
PS: Buying cloud gives you free single edition licenses but the apple developer fees still apply. Have you looked at apple ibooks?

I have firefox 5 but I want to install firefox 4 as well on the same laptop because I need to take an online exam and the software does not suppot Firefox5. Can I do it and if Yes how/where?

Is there any one knows how to use labview 6.0 to make a "continue" function like the one in C language?

I am using labview 6.0 and i like to know is there any one knows how to stop the current iteration in while loop or for loop and continue to do the next iteration,just like the "continue" statement in C or C++ language?

Simple test here in LV6 confims that you can't do this. Not in a useful
sense anyway. "Stop" doesn't stop execution simply of the current VI, it
also kills all VIs above it. It would hence be difficult to argue that this
approach is in any way similar to "continue".
What version of Labview have you tested this on and can you post a
demonstration?

I was watching the tutorial about green screening. It looks really good when I was doing it but when I played the whole video there were some shadows still. Do I have to find the darkest part of the video to make it all green screen properly?

Try it.
You may also need to apply more than one key effect to the same clip.
You may also need to use all the tweaks in the effect to get a great key.

Creative needs to make an updated version of the Muvo TX

I love the Muvo TX FM, it does everything right. It's small enough to carry in your front pocket, has a radio, requires no software, requires/has no annoying cable to carry around, and runs on AAA batteries.
It's just about perfect. The only thing it doesn't have is much space. But that's ok because it's so small. What I'm looking for is a 2GB or 4GB version of effecti'vely the same product... but creative won't make it!
I almost bought the Muvo v00 but it doesn't have an FM radio... which is just annoying.
COME ON!!! Please, there's nothing on the market that's as small and reliable as that player was and it's getting so you can't even buy them second hand anymore.
The form factor was perfect... anything larger is just too big. The battery makes a lot more sense then any other player when used with rechargeable AAA batteries. You'll list 2 hours or something on your specs but with a few recharged AAAs in your pack you can go for as long as you like. Nothing on the market is as practical for something like a camping trip with long hikes. And not requiring a cord or special software is brilliant. I hate being forced to use something like iTunes and that goes equally for any similar software from any other company including creative. I want to just use the normal file interface which the TX FM let me do.
Please... For the love of kittens and cash please release an updated version of that player. It doesn't need to be smaller or even really look differently... the only thing I'm really looking for is more space... as much as possible really. But again... no bigger.

Publishing .index Vs .swf How to make my file look like the .swf Question

Hi, I currenly have a site published where the domain is reading
www.mysite.com/index.html (example)
When I view this site the image is not centered and when I expand it in different browers it does not look good.
When I view the site by looking at it through the exact location of where I have the flash, for example www.mysite.com/index.swf It's exactly how I want it to look.
Is there a code I can put into the html where I can have the same look as the .swf but view it with the .index.html
For example when I am testing the .swf extension and change the size of the browers or expand it, the flash movie is always centered and looks great in every brower.
I was thinking of changing the domains link to the .swf file to solve the issue, but is by having the .html extension provide greater serach information. What is it nessary?

You seem to be confusing the .swf file with the Web page that the .swf file goes on. For Internet delivery you want the index.html web page.
You can "Publish" the page directly from Flash. Under the "File" menu, look for Publish Settings and review ALL the options before "Publishing" the swf.
If you don't understand them, Google for that specific option.
Also review "Flash scaling"
Here are examples of different scaling parameters available in the Publish settings. You can also add these parameters directly in the html (<param name="scale" value="noscale"). All the examples replace the actual Flash dimensions with 100% for both width and height (width="100%" height="100%"). These examples use the old <object> and <embed> to illustrate the different ways to scale Flash. Once you understand how it works I’d recommend that you use swfobject to place the Flash in your final project.

These methods are just simple scaling accomplished with html. There are also methods to dynamically scale the stage and it’s elements using Actionscript… but that’s a much more complex undertaking.

I don't know the exact procedure but it goes like - configuring a reverse proxy and registering your computer with your domain proxy et all..

I am using AS3 becase it's the only way i could figure out
how to make a video play and stop with the buttons. I am not
married to using AS3. Basically what i want to do is make a video
player that is very similar to the one used on youtube. I want a
video to play (intro video to my website) then at the end, a menu
will appear giving links to other pages and other videos. I want to
have a link on the video that will take you directly to the menu in
case you have already seen the video and just want to view links or
whatever is on the menu.
So in order: video plays upon visiting site, video ends, meny
shows up giving links
Link to skip video and go directly to the menu
link on the menu to go back to the video

It didnt work, perhaps I did something wrong...of course I
havent added the menu thing yet...it just says:
