Need to show vendor name on vendor contact workbench

Hello experts ,
We have a requirement where I need -
On the vendor workbench page, clearly show which company they are listed under.
Is there any way to do this ?
I guess this can be done with the help of token embedding into localized resource .
Any Suggestion is appreciable

See vendor code is unique no. But the name is not at all unique. so system allow to create duplicate record.
by giving authorization to single person only you can do it.

If you are a Verizon user try this:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again and see if it's fixed.

N8 not showing the name of the contact calling

I have seen a strange issue with N8. I have never experienced this with any other Nokia phones that I have been using. Not sure if others have noticed it. Here is what I have experienced:
At times, I have seen that when I receive a call from the person who is already added in my contact list, the phone is just displaying the number and not the name of the person. When I check the Log, it also displays the number and not the name of the person.
Just so that someone might have a question, I have imported my contact list from my previous handset (Nokia N70) where it worked absolutely fine.
If someone has experienced the same kind of issue, could you please explain me and help me resolve it. It is quite inconvenient to identify the caller without the name and decide whether to accept or reject during work hours and have at times missed some important calls due to that.

Just so you know, guys, you're not the only ones with this issue. It suddenly popped up a week or so ago when I ran the PR 1.2 update OTA. And as to the comment about duplicate contacts, my phone used to show the name that was alphabetically first amongst the duplicates sharing the same number.
Nokia, you've made one the best devices thus far in the N8, and I feel like I can say that because I've used Nokia devices since the 3310, and am a diehard fan in every respect. But the issues I've had on the N8 are totally unbelievable. I still use a 7610 and I find it more reliable than the N8. Also, it's surprising to see how caustic your support team replies are to genuine problems your users are having with their phones, which are UNDOUBTEDLY a result of improperly thought out firmware upgrades and plain lack of user-friendliness. Nokia seems very happy to place the blame on the user, that is, provided they reply in the first place. And as to the solution above, the one that the operator at Nokia support recommended, is just plain idiotic. What exactly is the point of OTA upgrades if one has to perform it by cable anyways? And resetting the phone? Do I have to do it everytime I install something on my phone? Is that the solution to every problem on this great device? I mean, come ON Nokia. I gave up an iPhone 4 for this. Please try not to make me, and millions of others who have done the same thing regret our decision. We're not asking you to perform rocket science on clay tableta or a feat of some improbable technological wonder. We're asking you for things that are ALREADY there for AGES on other phones, and a little bit of consideration that I feel we've all earned. I honestly didnt mean for this to turn into a rant, but this is truly the first time ever that I've had such a troublesome device from Nokia, and witnessed such scathing indifference to user troubles, despite being squarely at fault with respect to buggy and incomplete firmware.

WLC log needs to show AP name instead of MAC

I am looking for a way to show the AP name in my WLC logs (5508). I am now seeing MAC addresses in the logs and it would be easier to immediately see the AP names. I found a command in the AP that should be able to fix this: "logging origin-id hostname". However, since the APs are CAPWAP and connecting to the controller, once the APs are reloaded they lose this config. So I am looking at a solution for configuring this in the WLC...

I do not think you can configure this through WLC as it is not IOS based product. Here are the settings related to AP syslog, that you can change via WLC (syslog host, facility & level)

Vendor name in fbl3n

Is it possible to get the vendor code in FBL3n report. Because in Bank outgoing payment GL report we need vendor name. Vendor name is available in screen layout of fbl3n, i have moved from hidden to display still it is not showing the vendor name.

FBL3N is the transaction for G/L Account line item display.
For Goods Receipt documents, line items will populate with Vendor LIFNR, but for Invoice Receipts only the vendor line item would populate LIFNR, the G/L lines for IR documents do not populate LIFNR.
You can see this yourself by looking in SE16 at table BSEG for the GR and IR accounting documents. For GR document, BSEG-LIFNR should be filled for all line items. For IR document, BSEG-LIFNR should be filled only for the vendor line item.
The line item display can't display any value, because there is no value on the database.
The relevant tables for the G/L Line Item Display is BSIS/BSAS and BSEG. In BSIS/BSAS you will not find the fields Vendor number (LIFNR) and Vendor name (NAME1), and in BSEG Vendor number is only stored in the Vendor Line Item and not in the G/L line item, and you will not find Vendor name in BSEG. Therefore, you are not able to add the fields to the Line Item Display as a standard field or as a special field in the normal way.
Hence, this is SAP standard design and it is not possible to have vendor number in the G/L line item display.
There is a workaround for this, which should work in both 46* and Enterprise versions :
The fields LIFNR and NAME1 do not exist in the structures RFPOS and RFPOSX. If you need these fields to be shown in the Line Item Display then you need to add the fields to the structures RFPOS and RFPOSX.
When the structure has been extended with the fields then you need to run the reports RFPOSXEXTEND and BALVBUFDEL (in the same way as seen in the solution part in note 215798).
After that you need to use the Open FI Exit 1650 to fill the fields. You will find a function group FI_ITEMS from transaction SE80. In this function group you will find a function module FI_ITEMS_DISPLAY where the form ITEMS_DISPLAY_INIT includes the exits 1610 to 1650. The important one for your problem is 1650 (OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00001650_E).
This exit is used if you want to display fields in e.g. FBL3N which do not exist in the tables BSIS/BSAS and also not in the G/L Line in BSEG.
Through this user exit it should be possible to get the value from the relevant tables e.g. from the vendor items from BSEG or the value from BSIK into structure RFPOSXEXT if there is a relation between the relevant tables e.g. BSEG/BSIK to RFPOSX/BSIS.
Please also have a look at the notes 112312 and 217189.

Vendor name and Vedor number in FAGLL03

My Client is running report for GR/IR, T-code FAGLL03, they want to see Vendor name and Vendor number columns in the report. I searched forums and got the answer for Vendor number but not clear
My questions are
1. I added field LIFNR in BSEG table in the SPRO and am able to see the vendor colum. If I transport to Test system, will I be able to see the vendor column? (in forums some one mentioned that they are not able to see the vendor column when they transport to Test system) they have been asked to run this program BALVBUFDEL, So I am concerned about this issue and want to know exactly what are the things that need to be done, what programs have to be run before transporting to Test system?
Also we are using ECC 6.0 and the highest support package present in the system is SAPKGPAD15. So I dont think I need to install the OSS note 1034354, I checked the OSS note and the highest APPL level is 604? but just making sure about this Patch level and OSS note.
2. Second, how to get the Vendor name cloumn in the report?
Could someone give me solution? your help will be really appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I understood that we get Vendor number from the Function module ITEM_STRUC_EXTENSION and when you run that FM it updates the vendor number in the Structure FAGLPOSYEXT. I want to have Vendor name side to Vendor number field. Can I get vendor name also from the same FM?
I have tried in BSIS table and other OSS notes that are mentioned in that forum link but none of the OSS notes mentioned about the Vendor name and the vendor name is coming from LFA1 table and that has no connection with FAGLL03 report as far as I understand (correct me if I am wrong).
If you have any idea please throw some light.

Using T-code ME5A report vendor,name of vendor if required,
you will create using T-code ME01-Maintain source list input data's are Material,Plant,Vendor,pur.org.,valid from,valid to and fixed source field tick, to be given and SAVE.
After that you will see ME5A report. vendor,name of vendor data's are display.

I have got a requirement to add vendor name in po item detail condtions tab in that if we select particular condition type and see the details there we can see vendor and now it is required to add vendor name display based on the given vendor.

Standard SAP Report for Vendors to dispaly Vendor No, Name and Balance

Can any one help me to display Vendor Report which contains Vendor No, Vendor Name and Vendor Balance from SAP Standard Reports (Not Customized Report). I have checked with all SAP Standard Reports, It seems that all SAP Standard Reports displays with only Vendor No not with Vendor Name.

On OS 5, the contacts with international format do not show the names when they call me. any idea why?

I have updated my Iphone 4 software to OS5, and since then the names of the people who call me stopped to appear and only their number is showing. after checking, i found out that the contatcs whom local phone number is saved in an international format are affected by this problem. if i save them without the country code, then their names appear.
Also, some non local numbers that are saved in the format of 00966--------- instead of +966 ------- are also not showing the name of my contact when they call me.
any idea about this knowing that the older OS version didn't have an issue with this?

This is the same problem I have. I thought it was my phone only, but now I realize it is a common thing. I hope they release a fix to this, as they did in 2007 & 2007 when 3G was released. Will be waiting and good luck to us all.

How to show full name of user in crystal report

Hi. I am using Crystal Report 2008. I need to show full name (first name and last name) of the user logged in. Currently I am using "currentceusername" but it shows the user id that a user uses to login.
Is there any way to show the full name of the user in crystal report?

Not you H4... Can I suggest if someone replies to actually add something of value!!!!
Cr does not have the ability to query your AD Server. What you would have to do is use a AD query tool or Export Option and export the user info from the log on ID into a Excel or an Access table or something CR could report off of. Then you can add a subreport to get the name from the ID and insert it into the main report.
Check with your IT department, they should have tools to get the info. I'm not sure if there is a DB connector that would allow you to query the AD server directly but if there is one and it supports ODBC then you can use that as your subreport Data connection.
Typically names do not change that often so rather than running the Query every time the report is generated it would be better to export the info to a text type file and simply use it for your report. IT can put a rule on to export if the Names change.

It won't display the names of my contacts when they message me.

Got a brand new iPhone in the mail, restored it from my old iPhone, and now it's not showing the names of my contacts when they message me even though I have their number in my contacts list. I have tried the add to contacts button but that dosent work either. Please help its a little irritating when someone texts me and I have to ask who it is.

If you do not see this at the top of the display I would try a reset.
Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.
