First read the release notes of ECC 6.0 with respect to ur version (4.7c).
Observe changes in ECC 6.0 and make further changes in Blue print new release.
u can find the release notes at sap help and also at the screen.
If there any further requirements, u can collect the requirements that is billable

The following predefined user roles are available for customizing and administration:
SAP_BC_ALM_CUST for customizing authorization.
SAP_BC_ALM_ADMIN for administration authorization. The administrator has the authorization for all activities. He or she can also read and confirm alerts for other users. In addition, the administrator can execute report RSALRTPROC to delete, escalate, and deliver alerts as well as to delete logs.
For the sending of alerts via external communication methods (e-mail, sms, fax) and for inbound processing, an RFC user has to be created on the central alert server with the role SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER. The authorization objects contained in this role are S_OC_SEND and S_RFC.
Accessing alert inbox the userid has to have the role SAP_XI_MONITOR.

Hi Stefan,
while the JARs in the UI5 Eclipse plug-ins contain the same files and it would be possible, but a bit cumbersome to extract and combine them, you are of course right that the SCN trial is severely lagging behind.
Unfortunately getting the SCN updated is a relatively complicated process which is not completely in our hands, so we recently focused on getting the OpenUI5 releases (which we control) reliably done. I let a colleague know who will try to do it this week (no promise). The version will then be 1.18.11.

Why i need to pay for upgrading a new garageband?

Currently my garageband is still v6.0.5, am using OS X Yosemite, MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013. Really need helps

The new GarageBand version is a major new upgrade, going from version number 6.0.5 to 10. So it has to be purchased, The purchase of GarageBAnd 10 used to be free, but you had to pay for the in-app purchase. Without this purchase GarageBand was just a Trial version and you had to pay to get a full working version. Now the conditions have changed. You have have to pay for the basic version, but the in-app purchase is free. But basically, you have to pay the same as before.
When you upgrade, don't delete or uninstall your current GarageBand 6.0.5. You can use both versions concurrently, and the new version does not support all features of the previous GarageBand version. you may want to use your previous version occasionally, and it is hard to get it back, once uninstalled.

The first servers to be updated in a site are the Mailbox servers even if they are member of DAG.Ensure the DAG node you are updating is in maintainence mode. The Client Access servers are updated second. If you have multi-role servers installed then
both roles are updated at the same time anyway, and you should simply start with the internet-facing servers.
First, you will need to remove any UM language packs that you have installed in previous version. From an elevated cmd prompt navigate to the folder where you have extracted the Exchange 2013 SP1 files and run setup with the /RemoveUMLanguagePack switch. For
example, to remove the “en-us” language pack.

Need basic documentation for Adobe Reader X

Can anyone point me to documentation that will explain what document properties are needed to be able to highlight text in a document? The document "Adobe_reader_x_help.pdf" does not discuss this at all. I need to highlight text in an academic document, and all permissions are enabled except Document Asembly, Signing, and Creation of Template Pages.
"Commenting" permission is available, and an ordinary person of a basic level of intelligence would assume that includes highlighting of text. At the same time, "Content Copying" is set to Allowed but I can't seem to do that either, so I am left wondering whether this is an idiotic feature designed by an idiot or merely an idiotic bug.
FWIW Adobe is BEGGING to be slapped with an unfair trade practices class action based on its blatant attempts to leverage its monopoly over the PDF file format into sales of expensive-*** Acrobat just to perform basic features, like highlighting text, that actually WORK without having to purchase a product for hundreds of dollars.

Adobe Reader X (on the desktop) can highlight text in any PDF file provided it is not directly forbidden by a security setting - so any unsecured PDF can be highlighted, as can any secured PDF with "commenting" allowed in the security properties. Highlights are just another form of comment.
Previous versions of Adobe Reader could not apply highlights without Reader-extended permissions set by Acrobat or LiveCycle, but Adobe decided with version X to allow comments and sticky notes by default.
...and FWIW, the PDF format is an open ISO standard, used by hundreds of software developers besides Adobe. Yes of course the Acrobat Family sets the standard for working with PDF content, as Adobe invented the thing; but they don't have a monopoly by any means except in specific areas of DRM, rich media and very advanced document editing. For example OS X can read and write PDFs natively, but to create files with scripting and interactivity you need a commercial application such as Acrobat.

Source DB : 10.2.0.4 ( 32 bit )
DB Size : 100 GB
SERVER B
Target O/S : Win 2008 R2 sp1
Target DB : 11.2.0.3 ( 64 bit )
I have to upgrade 10g Database of server A , by installing 11g on Server B. I have not used database upgrade assistant or RMAN or similar utilities to perform a 10g upgrade to 11g anytime in the past.
Here is my question ...
a) I was planning to use datapump to perform this upgrade ( Downtime is not a issue ), since I know how to use datapump, do you guys see any potential problem with this approach ? OR
b) Based on your exp. would you suggest that i should avoid option (a) because of potential issues and use other methods that oracle suggests like upgrade assistants etc
I am open to both options, it's just that since i am not a expert at this point of time, i was hesitating a bit to go with option (b)
db is supposed to undergo from 32 to 64 bit. Not sure if this would be deal breaker.
Note : The upgrade is suppose to happen on 2nd server. Can somebody provide high level steps as pointer.

My question is how to use this cursor to get the value, fetch it and then get another value(ofc only for the children) and fetch it again so i can output it? I thing this can be achieve but don't know how.All SQLs (and anonymous PL/SQL) are parsed and cursors are created. A cursor is a basically a set of instructions (as seen via execution plans) of how to get the job done. Think of cursors as programs that are executed and output data.
So do you want t create a bunch of cursors (programs) and then call these from PL/SQL, consume their output, create/call new cursor programs and repeat?
Or do you want to create a single cursor program that does the job and outputs the required results?
Maximise SQL. Minimise PL/SQL.

I have just ploughed through pages and pages of Windows 7 Beta issues and concerns on the forum. It is great to see the level of participation from Lenovo owners. Thanks to all of them for testing out the new OS (Kudos to all of them!).
I have a very old laptop (T23) which chugs along just fine on XP/Pro. I am somewhat reluctant to do a clean install on this system ... I am not sure that W7 will actually work on this old friend. My A61 with Vista Bus 32 looks like a good candidate for the upgrade. I am encouraged by our test participants to take the plunge. I have preordered Windows 7/Pro from Best Buy (50% off and no S+H). I get it after Oct 22. I get a bit weak in the knees when it comes to nuking operating systems.
May I be so bold as to ask for a special favour from our Forum Mavens. Can you state on the forum what the cutoff is for the older Thinkpads when it comes to the Windows 7 upgrade.
If this is not necessary (that is, they are all candidates), it would be good to know. My knees need some calming down.
