Negative amount in the open deliveries field

Hi All
Iu2019ve also come across a negative amount in the open deliveries field on the business partners master data screen but there are no open deliveries no orange arrow to click on and it's grayed out for this selected business partner could anybody help with how to fix this issue.

Please run the detect query mentioned in the Note No. : 999124 and if it returns and result, you need to open a support ticket on the portal to get the issue investigated.

Open Qty Field in Outbound Delivery

Hi All,
I would appreciate any assistance that you could offer on this issue.
It is concerning the little known 'Open Qty' field in the outbound delivery.
The business process here is to create outbound deliveries, which are then continually added to as and when stock becomes available.
The Open Qty field should display the open qty from the sales order line, which includes the qty just delivered.
So for example, a user attempts to add several lines to an existing outbound delivery (ie outbound delivery > deliver sales order).
The user would then compare the qty delivered against the Open Qty - if they match then ok. If the qty delivered is less than the open qty, then the user would delete this line as they are only interested in delivering the full qty.
However the 'Open Qty' is not working as expected. Eg if open qty on sales order is 2000. But qty delivered is only 1500, the open qty would = 1500. This is incorrect. After the user saves the deliver and then re-checks he would see qty delivered = 1500 and Open Qty = 2000, so then he would know that the full qty was not delivered.
This business has just migrated from 4.6c (where this field behaved correctly) to ECC 6.0.

use this way.

order qty - VBAP-KWMENG.
open qty = delivery qty - order qty.

Open deliveries. urgent

Hi folks,
while checking for open deliveries with Tc like VL06G, Vl06C, VLO6IG, there is no field for the Customer .
There is one field as "Partner data : Forwarding Agent".
Is this the option for the customer ??
how to check the open deliveries w.r.t a customer using these Tcs...
because, while checking, it is not showing any deliveries even though there are open deliveries w.r.t a customer..

Hi,
I do not think this can be accomodated in the std tcodes as there is no option of dynamic selections too. You can create reports using sq01 and tables VBUK , VBUP ( use doc type and doc and item status) LIKP, LIPS.

Function to retrieve Open Deliveries

Hi,
Is there any SAP function to read the open deliveries. I found a function RV_DELIVERY_VIEW_2 but the only information I have for passing is sold-to party based on which I need the open deliveries.

Check in TBTCP and TBTCO Table there in some field it i s mentioned..
TBTCP and TBTCO is the table which stores job details ..

Open location field has disappeared

The open location field in the Safari browser has disappeared. The open location command is not available (grey). Can anyone tell me what to do. I have already downloaded and reinstalled Safari. Thanks.

data: c_bef_pgi(1) TYPE c VALUE 'A',
RANGES: rg_wbstk FOR vbuk-wbstk."range for wbstk
rg_wbstk-sign = 'I'.
rg_wbstk-option = 'EQ'.
rg_wbstk-low = 'C'.
APPEND rg_wbstk.
rg_wbstk-low = 'A'.
APPEND rg_wbstk.
1.first put query on vbak table
2.Put query on vbuk table as
      SELECT vbeln bestk lfstk gbstk FROM vbuk
              INTO TABLE it_vbuk_open
              FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_vbak
              WHERE vbeln = it_vbak-vbeln AND
                    bestk IN rg_wbstk AND
                    lfstk = c_bef_pgi.
so this wil give u open orders.
3. Then according to vbuk, get the details from vbap.
To find open delivery
1. First put query on vbak table
2. Put query on vbfa as
SELECT vbelv posnv vbeln posnn vbtyp_n vbtyp_v FROM vbfa
             INTO TABLE it_vbfa
             FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_vbak
             WHERE vbelv = it_vbak-vbeln AND

3.Then from VBfa,get the details from LIkp
4.Then put entry on vbuk as

      SELECT vbeln wbstk fkstk gbstk FROM vbuk
             INTO TABLE it_vbuk_del
             FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_likp
             WHERE vbeln = it_likp-vbeln AND
                   wbstk IN rg_wbstk AND

Open deliveries in the credit management

++We can see from the FD33 transaction that there is a particular customer, who has lot of credit exposure, as well as credit limit used is 89.43%.++
++I can find from a Z report that there are lot of open deliveries. I can see the total value / amount of open Delivery, but cannot find out any such delivery in a list or number of deliveries cannot be found.But I have used the reorganisation program RVKRED07, where I find the list of open sales orders but not deliveries.++
++Can you please help or advise what needs to be done in order to see the list of open deliveries, any report or program or transaction code?++

Open Deliveries are the deliveries that are not billed so far.
Use VF04 (the billing due list), select only the 'Delivery' indicator, remove all date ranges and you will get a list of open deliveries.
Also, in VL06O, choose "list Outbound deliveries'. In the selection screen, scroll down to the lower portion into the section 'Status Outbound delivery'. MArk the Billing status as A to B.
You will get the list of open deliveries.

Amount of forms open in the session

Hello all,
I would like to restrict/control the amount of forms open by the user,
as I am using open_form.
I have found nothing in the forms help about that, like a system variable and nothing so far on the web.
A possible workaroung/idea could be to have a global
that I count up on when-new-form-instance
and count down on key-exit.
Did someone have experience that problem ? what do you think ?
I am using Forms 10g R2.

PS : I guess an amount of 10 forms open by user, could be a good limit in order to don't get performance problem.

So far that's the only workaround that I found sor far, init the global at my starting, then count up/down.
Do you think a limit of 10 opened forms at the same time is reasonable ?

In oracle Open Script (OATS) OracleEBS/Forms project all the elements or fields are being identified as web objects.

In oracle Open Script (OATS), we have created an OracleEBS/Forms project. But when we try to record the script all the elements or fields are being identified as web objects. Due to this we are unable to use the functions like getText. Hence, please help.

If it is a name resolution I would try either replacing the server name in the script with the IP address or making an entry in the local host file of the machine trying to play back the script

When there was support for Google Toolbar, I was able to do this; now, whenever I want to search for something, I have to open a new tab to do it, and cut-and-paste my search into the search field in the new tab. I used to be able to highlight, drag, and drop something into the search field and have it automatically open in a new tab. This is enough for me to switch to Chrome . . .

In the open item lists for deliveries they go out though are closed

As you correctly pointed out if a delivery is closed it should not appear in the Open Item List. Would it be possible for you to check the ODLN and DLN1 with a query?
Please check what the status of the delivery is:
select docstatus from odln where docnum = 'xxx'
if the query shows that the document is Open, then you have to investigate how the delivery has been closed in order to be sure that it is indeed closed.
Do you have a target document that can be reached through the Target Document option from the base document?

Need to display -ve sign before the dollor sign for the negative amount

I am working on XML Publisher report, I have a total amount field which comes from Summary column from the rdf. So when ever the amount is -ve, it displays as
$-30.00. But i have to make it dispaly as -$30.00, so how can i achieve it on XML Template? or is there any way i can achieve this?
I tried <?format-number:empno ; 'S$999G999D99'?>,
This has worked for me good, when ever there is a -ve amount it displays as -$30.00, but this has aroused a new problem, which is if it is a positive output it is displaying as +$30.00. i don't want that + sign to be displayed when it is positive amount.
MY requirement is to display $-30.00 as -$30.00.
Can you please let me know your thoughts.

AP Invoice interfaced to Projects shows the amount in the quantity field

We are noticing that AP Invoices interfaced to Projects show the invoice amount in the quantity field, e.g. in projects quantity and cost both show the invoice amount. The actual quantity is different. Anybody experienced that or has a solution?

This is intended functionality of Oracle projects:
For AP invoices the QUANTITY = ACTUAL AMOUNT (eg 1000) of the AP invoice at the distribution level and UOM = word "CURRENCY".
Incase of labor expenditures the quantity = the number of hours and UOM = HOURS.
Please revert incase more information is required on this issue.
