Network drivers not working and Windows Error Recovery Message issues

I have a ThinkPad laptop T530 series in which about five of my network adapters are showing the exclamation mark in a yellow triangle next to them. When clicking on properties, it states that" this device will not start--code 10." I have tried the network sharing troubleshooter and this has not worked.
The second issue I am having is that upon starting my computer I am constantly getting a Windows Error Recovery message which I have to press on the proceed to Windows as the startup repairs do not seem to rectify the issue.
I would very much appreciate if someone could help me resolve these issues

I don't have a solution to your main problem, but I have one for the error message.
If I am right, then Airport is causing the problem. 192.168.1.1 is the address that the Airport Base Station will take right away. To fix this, you need to go into Airport Admin Utility. Click on your base station and click "Configure." Click on the "Network" tab. Now it should look something like this:

The problem is that the Airport is using the same IP number set as the router that you have. If you disconnect or unplug the Airport, then that would fix it easily, but if you want to keep your Airport connected, then all you need to do is pick one of the other number formats, like this:

FYI, Just upgraded my second machine to Windows 8.1 OMG !!2 Hours to upgrade after the download. I loose my configuration settings. I required to have a Windows Live whatever account!!! This is not the way to compete and keep customers.
Windows XP has been by far the best deployment experience. I need a Knowledge base that gives solutions , not a troubleshooting scenario that does or does not work!!
Please , don't tell me to go and by a OEM Surface I cannot recommend this to my clients.

If it worked previously, a quick solution is to run System Restore and get back to the previous status when the issue didn’t occur.

When you turn on network discovery, do you get any error prompt?
Please check if you have any error message about network discovery in event viewer.

Also, please temporarily turn off your firewall and all the security programs for a test.
As far as I know, Network discovery requires that the DNS Client, DNS Client, Network Connections, Network Location Awareness, Remote Procedure Call (RPC), Function Discovery
Resource Publication, TCP/IP Netbios helper, SSDP Discovery, and UPnP Device Host services are started and set to automatic.
You should check again if you have started all these services.
Regarding the update issue, I suggest you try the following suggestions.
1. Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus program to test the issue.
2. Open the Windows Update troubleshooter

MySite – My Content Page is not working and giving error for existing customers

We are using SharePoint 2010 and recently moved to SharePoint 2013. Central Admin run under SP 2013 and Content Db Front End run under SP 2010.
After migration the MySite – My Content Page is not working and giving error for existing customers (http://mysite.ss.com/_layouts/MySite.aspx?Error=4705).
New users (after migration) are able access the My Content and adding documents but old users can’t.
Can anyone help me on the above?

I think you might be using non claims web app in 2010, if that is the case, you 'd need to convert your existing users to claims users for which you can refer to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg251985(v=office.15).aspx
to check if your exisiting users are claims or classic users , try
get-spuser -web http://mysite.ss.com -limit all
check in the output if you see the claims GUID in form of user names like i:0#.w|domain\username, if yes, they claims users if you just see Domain\username, you want those users to be converted to calims.
i'd need more details to be specific about my answer but aforementioned scenario is most common of all, hope this helps,

After Windows 10 Pro N succesfull update all Network Adapters not working and not showing up

Hi all, After succesfully installing the new Windows 10 Pro N onto my Windows 8.1 Pro N operating system and restarting the system, I realized that all drivers are migrated succesfully, withouht any incompatibility issue, but none of the network adapters were working, so no WiFi, no LAN connection was ready to be used, checking the list of available network adapters showed an empty list. I am using a ThinkPad T520 laptop. I have tried to update all drivers from a USB, had several restarts, but no result. Any ideas I could use to get Windows 10 up-n-running with network connections? Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter not working on Windows 7 64bit

As the title suggests, my laptop (Alienware m17x) is installed with the Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter and Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I have had several other driver incompatibility issues with Windows 7, but those I have slowly been able to resolve. This however just cropped up after two months of successful use. Yesterday it started failing to connect to the internet, telling me that no wireless connections are available. I live in a dorm, and everyone else on my floor has successful wireless, including my Ipod Touch, PS3 and XBox 360. I called Alienware/Dell Support and we spent hours trying to fix the problem and all look well until I rebooted my laptop this morning and the same issue reappeared. When I reboot my laptop, all I get is a notification that no networks appear in range. If I uninstall the broadcom chip and let windows install it after a boot up it works until the machine is rebooted a second time. I have tried over a dozen windows 7 drivers for the chip, and about half a dozen vista drivers and they all have the same results, works on the first boot, fails every time after that

All I did was section I.a. If the link is down, I copied the only section that I needed to follow out of this guide, in order to get my wireless to work repeatedly without having to uninstall the wireless driver every single reboot. Now it works perfectly,
already connected to a wireless network on startup.
I.a. Disable Device sleep on disconnect
Some newer Nvidia Ethernet drivers have a feature called Device sleep on disconnect. This is the culprit. Normally, it should only put the Ethernet adapter to sleep when the cable is disconnected, but it's buggy and thus kills the wireless connection as
well.
Follow these steps to disable this feature on your Nvidia Ethernet Adapter:
1. Open the Windows Device Manager by hitting Win+Pause, then click on Device Manager on the left side.
2. Double-click on Network adapters.
3. Double-click on NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller (yes, that's the wired Ethernet adapter indeed).
4. Click on the Advanced tab.
5. Select Device sleep on disconnect.
6. Set the Value to Disabled.
7. Click OK and wireless should work again (might require a reboot afterwards, but probably not).

HP drivers not working for Windows 8.1

I've been given this laptop and it came pre-installed with Windows 8, touch screen and every driver works fine on Windows 8 till I've upgraded it to Windows 8.1, touch screen no longer works installed the latest driver from the HP website and the own built in HP support assistant and verified it works for 8.1 and it still does not work. Any help would be much appreciated.

I understand that you updated to windows 8.1 , and now some devices are not working correctly. You did not specify the exact product you have , but I did find the support page for the closely related 14-n033tx, so you can give the drivers there a try.

Touch Screen not working and whit error screen

Hi all...
My storm 2 is broken...
The touch screen has suddenly stopped working and everythime I boot the phone I get a white screen with various different errors and codes. Each time errors are different...
Im sure the phone is unrepairabl so I need to recover my BBM contacts... I've recovered my phonebook, music, pics, files etc from previous backups but I need my BBM contacts...
Any ideas on how to do this? If I can remote access the phone from my laptop I can do it but I don't know how...

Depending on the error you may or may not be able to recover the BBM Contacts.
Please provide an error that you are receiving on the device and see if we can help.
For the most part I would advise you that the BBM contacts are now lost if you have no previous backup with the contacts on them.

IPhone not working with Windows 7. Message asks to install 64-bit version

Full error message; "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes".
I have just bought my wife a brand new iPhone 32Gb 3S for Christmas & now it's the most expensive paperweight I own. My wife has also just bought me a brand new 16Gb Nano, which also now comes up with error messages when connected, saying that it faild to load and I need to disconnect it & reconnect it. Naturally, this does not work either.
I'm running Windows 7 & the current 64 bit version of iTunes, but no matter what I do, the above error message comes up.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, very carefully following the exact process & order as detailed by apple, with no luck.
Everywhere I look, there seems to be references to a piece of software that should exist on my computer; "Apple Mobile Device Application Support", yet this is not to be found anywhere.
I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with the Apple techies, with no results whatsoever.
Can ANYONE assist me as I'm going completely bonkers & am about to storm into the Apple store and demand my money back?

The MSCONFIG workaround requires I-tunes and I-phone code to be installed on the machine. The problem is that I-tunes will not install on XP 64-bit machines. It will install on Vista but NOT XP. MSCONFIG requires the user to allow code that can't be on the machine until it's been installed! Apple staff have confirmed this to me over the phone after I spent half a day trying to figure it out.

There are also a couple of 3rd party I-pod readers which, if I name them, will probably get me kicked off the list. Why the f*ck can't Apple sort this out. XP 64 bit has been around for FIVE YEARS!!!

Why do I keep getting messanger is not working and wont send my messages

You did not say what droid you have, however if you had a kitty Kat update the messaging may have been screwed up.

Wireless Networking does not work within Windows Vista

I need to use Windows IE6 for work but when I open my Windows application, I cannot get my wireless networking to function. Diagnostics says I don't have a Network Adapter install. Back in the MAC O/S, the wireless networking functions fine.

Resolved. Windows server 2008 r2 works cool secured. with Mavericks in MBP 2014. All are working well.
Steps:
Identify your mac book and related Boot camp version from Apple support and download.
Integrate the drivers as mentioned in the below link.
for install.wim follow the steps in the below link.
for install.esd (this is the case with Windows server 2008 r2), convert install.esd to install.wim, integrate the drivers and convert back to install.esd and replace the original install.esd.
Install Windows (7 or 8 or server 2008)
After installation install additional drivers from Boot camp - driver folder.
For Windows, all should function (all are functioning for me).
For server versions (all drivers are installed), you have to enable sound from device manager, enable wireless connection by adding additional features from Server manager, it works.
For windows server 2012, integration is not required, it installs as is for MBP 2014, only wireless have to be enabled through server manager (remaining all worked fine)
While installing the drivers, install Boot camp, to enhance additional features like track pad etc., (as in Mac OS)
(Note:
'install.wim' or 'install.esd' integration is needed to avoid hangout during installation - to enable track pad and keyboard
intel folder) to $WinPEDriver$ folder to install chipset drivers, during OS installation. Chipset driver is not getting installed, when you install along with other drivers, gives out error.

Hi: I guess what I meant to say is that you may want to play around with some of the advanced settings for the card in the device manager. It seems that reading the article you posted, that procedure may have been for folks that have Cisco software to allow for Virtual Private Networking (VPN) and I don't think the drivers you have include any Cisco extensions. You can see if there is Cisco networking software by going to the Programs menu in the control panel and see the list of programs installed. There are usually 2-3 Cisco networking software items listed if you do. Sometimes tweaking those advanced settings help. If I select List Filter mode and try to achieve this it works fine no issue but when I use range filter this weird problem occurs. Can't I select multiple values using Range Filter Mode ? Isn't that's what it is intended to do ? Is it a known bug ? Any kind
of prior experience or help would be much appreciated.

HT4259 When I'm trying to extend my network using airport extream to airport express via LAN, the express is finding the network, then not completing and getting error message that it cannot connect, any advice appriciated

I'm using a virgin superhub, turned into modem only and connected airport extreme, wireless network setup and working
From the airport express I have a LAN to my office where Im trying to get a airport express setup as a extended wireless network
The express is finding the extreme device and network, it then won't connect and I get an error message "an unexpected error occurred. Try again"
Any help appriciated

IChat not working and returning error 8

Hi All, I've joined the ranks of those struggling to get ichat working. I have just bought an iMAC 20, installed it set up our iChat details and started an AV iChat session with our son who is also using an iMac. Worked fine. Then tried again 1 week later and couldn't get it to work. When opening the buddy list both the camera and the mic icons are greyed out. In desperation I powered everything off unplugged cable modem (Comcast) and Wireless Router (Linksys). To my amazement when I brought everything back up it worked. That was yesterday, today it isn't working. I tried the power off/unplug trick but it doesn't work. I've seen a few postings with what seem like related problems and am wondering if either my modem (which is about 6 years old) or my wireless router are the problem. I'm currently on hold for Apple Support but its been 44 minutes now and they close in 30 minutes time!
iMAC 20 Mac OS X (10.4.8)

I get the infamous error 8 on my Ichat video conference attempts.
I am on a dual 2004 1.8 G5. My buddy is on a very recently purchased dual-core imac 17. We are both running 10.4.9.
I spoke with Apple tech support. They conducted an AV test. We saw and heard each other. Same thing for the buddy.
I am on verizon fios with a blazing 1.5mb/sec speed. Very nice. I have an ActionTec router.
The buddy is on a wireless connection from HughesNet satellite ISP. Often very slow, but always over the minimimum 100Kbs threshold for IV chat.
Both my and buddy's router, a Belkin pre-N, is set with minimum firewall security. Buddy is connecting to the router via apple wireless card. Could this be an issue? Again, connection speeds are always over the minimimum 100Kbs threshold for upload and download hovers in the 600Kb range.
We are able to chat via typed messaging, but the audio and video never connect. We have both sent invites, which we both get, but the error -8 is the result always!!
We set the ports per this topics many discussions. No good. We set a jabber connection through google talk today. Still no work.
Our gear is current. We've made the settings. We've tried the recommendations. Are we missing something?

Yoga 2 Pro keybord disconnect does not work after Windows 10 updaate KB3081424 issued 05-AUG-2015

My Yoga 2 pro is on Windows 10 and i noticed a problem after installing update KB3081424 from Microsoft on august 5th. The keyboard would not turn itself off when turned beyond 190 degrees, neither would the automatic switch to tablet mode work.. Un-installing KB3081424 solved the problem but it is going to re-install itself soon. Any ideas?

After another session of googling and looking things up I finally fixed my issue. I stumbled across this article about things you should do the second you open the lenovo up. The first section that talks about the graphics driver is what I had to do in order to get it working. This included UNINSTALLING the Graphics Driver in the programs and features and then installing the latest directly from intel's site.
