Network error looking up address: 'No address associated with nodename"
This shows up in the console log when I try to launch a program I just installed - Lego Digital Designer.
Any thoughts how to associate an address with nodename??

No. I ended up installing on my IBM laptop instead. Sorry. However, I did get some tips from the Lego team that might help you. I'll cut and paste them here.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." Your sidekick may be relaying through a different server. If its on AT&T, it could be using cwmx.com for outgoing. However, cwmx.com only works for AT&T/Cingular EDGE customers. When on Wi-fi it won't allow you to send through it.
Many internet providers, but not all, provide an authenticating SMTP server to use when travelling. If you configured your outgoing server to use the email providers authenticating SMTP server information on a port different from port 25, you will be able to use it on most networks. Some wireless networks filter a wider range of ports, such as some work places.

How do I change the email address associated with this account?
I can find no option to update the email address associated with this account. This is causing a problem since the Apple Support Communities ID that I use is different than my iTunes account name, but the email address for both is the same. it's causing all sorts of weirdness with Game Center, logging into this site with my iTunes account (errors out), etc.
I see no options in preferences ot update this account email address.
Am I missing something obvious?Well 99% there anyway. Now that I've successfully updated my email address, it asked me to merge the new email address as the login, which is fine, so I did that, but now I no longer see the option to edit the "Username" value.
What I'm trying to do here is to retire my username under this account, and take it on under my primary iTunes account. It won't let me do that while this old account has it reserved.
Hopefully that makes sense
Once I merged my new primary email address with this account, the 'Username' field disappeared and now just shows the new email address with no option to edit the friendly 'Username' *sigh*. -

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

How to change the email address associated with an iPhone account? I inherited my son's phone and it still shows his phone number even though I can add my own email account. My iCloud is also associated with his phone number.
If you mean you want to change the iCloud ID your phone is signed into on your phone (which looks like an email address), you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Help. My old @us.army.mil email address was terminated by the army. I used that address to register my first apple id account on my iPad. I can't remember my original Apple ID number and if I ask to reset my password, Apple sends the reset link to my old non-working email address. I have a new gmail address and a new Apple ID number associated with that address. How do I get my iPad to use my new gmail address and new apple ID number? Remember, I can't log out of my old account because I can't remember the password. Amd Apple will only reset the password by sending a link to my old, non functioning army email account. ( I hate army webmail for canceling all retired military email accounts). John Marc

I recently updated my primary email address associated with my Apple ID account.
Now when I go to App store on my iPad it still tries to login to the App store using the old email address I had associated with the account, and naturally my password doesn't work. I can't figure out how to tell my iPad to login using the updated email address.
So in effect I'm locked out of the app store and I currently have 26 updates waiting.
I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my IPad to iCloud with no luck.. However I cloud happens to show the correct/updated email address.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
ThanksDid you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

I am trying to add another e-mail address to FaceTime, but do not want to change the e-mail address associated with my Apple ID. Everytime I try to add the e-mail address in my FaceTime settings, it send me a verification e-mail asking me to verify that I want to change to this new e-mail address for my apple ID. I do not. You can have multiple addresses associated with your apple id. You will have to verify any changes before they can be added and this is done by sending you an email. This is to protect you from someone else makeing changes to your account.

Apple changed my Apple ID to the email address associated with my iTunes account. I now can no longer access my account because the old user name is no longer valid and has no password. I have been on the phone with tech support for hours trying to fix this. I can not update any of the apps associated with that user name.

Poor quality in preview - image is blurry
To date, I have not had any issues with the preview quality matching the actual image quality. I have not made any hardware por software changes. Image files are in raw, jpg and tiff formats. This issue appears to be only with raw files. The image
