New build not showing up in iTunes connect

Hello There,
I am trying to submit my app to app store.
I generated a new build version 1.1. But it doesn't seem to show up in iTunes Connect.
How do I resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Gokila

  • New Apps not showing up in iTunes

I just downloaded 3 new free Apps from the iTunes store. None of them are showing up in iTunes to sync to my iPod. When I use Finder and do a search for them they all show up in my Mobile Applications folder with the rest of them, they just will not show up in iTunes. Is there a glitch or did I do something wrong? One of them I actually paid for and when I tried to download it again it said that I have already paid for the App and I could download it again for free. Tried that and it is still not showing up. Want to figure this out before I purchase any more.

If you have any apps in your iTunes library, what is selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes?

  • New epsisode not showing up in iTunes

I posted a new episode last night, but it's not showing up in iTunes. I hit update podcast and the same one #27, keeps showing up.
I use libsyn and the feed address is rubyfruit.libsyn.com/rss.
Feedvalidator says it's correct and valid.
I've heard about there sometimes being a lag, but I have never experienced it.
Since I have never experienced this, i don't know if it's normal and if it's not normal, I have no idea whose fault it is.

  • New episodes not showing up in iTunes

I have added a new episode (item) to my feed and pinged iTunes and the new episode will not show up. The feed was validated and is in the proper format.
When people subscribe, the episode is available and workign fine.
Any way idea on how to get the episode to show up in the listing?
    http://advisor.morningstar.com/rssdata/xml/getchoatepodcastdata.xml

Yeah. I checked on this yesterday and it seems to be broken still. I've starred at the code for quite a while and for the life of me can't see what's wrong.
    My only other theories are:
    1) it for whatever reason doesn't like the formating, no line breaks, just one long string...which in theory shouldn't make a difference...but this is Apple we're dealing with so who knows.
    2) doing a search for Morningstar, brings up several podcasts...the one we're dealing with here "Morningstar Advisor" and another similarly named "MorningstarAdvisor". Both seem to have different content. Not sure if iTunes might be confused into thinking that this is a duplicate feed and is no longer updating it.

  • New iphone not showing up in itunes?

Okay, so my computer is apparently having a problem. I've had an iphone with itunes since November. It went on the fritz the other day so I was told by an apple rep to uninstall itunes and install the newest version. This didn't work so I had to go to the apple store, and they gave me a brand new iphone. Soooo, now when I plug this new iphone into itunes (v. 7.6.1.9) it doesn't even show up in itunes. However, I do get a message in itunes saying "An iPhone has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPhone, then try again." What gives? This is a brand new phone that they activated at the apple store. ALSO, when I plug it into a friends itunes (older version) it shows up with no problems. Is it some bug with the newest version of itunes possibly? Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Robert

My first assumption from the details you have given...your USB port is on the fritz.
    Did you try all ports?
Or, did you use your cable or your friends cable when tried on his machine. If not yours, then could also be your cable.

  • New episode not showing up in iTunes

hi there, I've searched around but don't see an answer to this specific problem.
I've just uploaded our second podcast
updated the xml and pinged itunes
i know the itunes ping worked as the first episode was updated
however i dont see episode 2 on the itunes page
if i go to my podcast list and right mouse click update podcast i do get episode 2
i dont have unique guid 's for each podcast could that be it?
    xml is http://theatomicgeeks.com/podcasts/TAG_ep1.xml
thanks in advance for any help

You should have a guid tag, though Apple's Tech Note implies you can get away without it:
    <guid>
+Every <item> should have a globally unique identifier that never changes. When you add episodes to your feed, guids are compared in case sensitive fashion to determine which episodes are new. If you omit the guid for an episode, the episode url will be used instead.+
Feedvalidator also shows up the absence of these tags on the results page for your feed.
But how long is it since you uploaded the episode? You say 'just'.. my experience is that it takes 24-48 hours for a new episode to appear, so you may just need to wait a bit.

  • New podcasts not showing up in iTunes

    http://rototalk.com/?feed=podcast
My feed had been working fine in iTunes until I uploaded a new episode yesterday.  However, this new episode (#8) is not appearing in iTunes (or stitcher for that matter, which I was just approved for yesterday).
Feed Validator is also saying my feed is now invalid, although I didn't change anything.  It was fine 2 days ago.  My new podcast episodes ARE showing up in Pocket Casts, the podcast player that I use on my iPhone.  Not sure what is going on.
BTW, I use wordpress and PowerPress to post my podcasts
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your iTunes Store page is at
    https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/rosterdoc-fantasy-football/id689353108
The latest episode showing there is that of 25th August. The feed has two further episodes, of 28th and 29th August, and they show when subscribing.
There is nothing wrong with the feed: the 'errors' in FeedValidator aren't significant, or even errors. 'itunes:order' is a newly introduced tag which is valid but it doesn't recognize; and it doesn't understand RawVoice. This isn't any sort of problem.
It's quite usual for the Store to take 1-2 days, sometimes more, to show new episodes as it caches the feeds and visits them in some sort of rotation to check for updates. Since the earlier of the two 'missing' episodes was posted only yesterday, 28 hours ago, it's not abnormal for it not to show yet. It's just a question of waiting.

  • New items not showing up until itunes is restarted.

ok i'm starting to get annoyed now.
i have ATV set to stream everything.
now when i add items to itunes they don't show up until i close and re-open itunes. in v1.1 they showed up in ATV almost instantly.
    what's the deal with that.

    PC Defector wrote:

i know you're streaming... but what happens if you just click sync from iTunes (even though you're not syncing anything) does it update the library then?
what about if you're under sources on the AppleTV and choose your computer again?
These are obviously not solutions... just curiosity questions to see if it persists that way too. Or, put another way, is if restarting iTunes is the only way.
haven't tried pressing sync, but i never had to press sync when using v1.1.
in sources (now computers), i can remove the computer and then re-add it, but i need to go thru the process of entering the code etc.
rebooting the ATV updates the library also, so it seems the dropping the library connection and adding it again (be it automatically or manually) will update the library.
shouldn't need to do this though as previously it was fine.

  • Adding new podcasts - not showing up in iTunes music store

Is there some sort of manual process that must be undertaken when you add a new podcast to your site, to get it to show up in itms?
I successfully added my podcast series (had two of them ready to go) and submitted to ITMS. They accepted it, and it shows up just fine there. But after adding a third episode last night, it still only shows two episodes this morning.
Is there something more I must do?
    Jim

OK, I got it to work by running the feed through
feedvalidator and fixing all the errors. The wierd
thing is that the xml file was created by a program
called RSSBuddy, so it shouldn't have been messed up.
Interesting. I suspect that the XML parser used by the iTunes Store is fussier than the iTunes software itself!
I guess I need to find a new program for editing the
    RSS feed. Any recommendations?
If you're on a Mac then Podcast Maker is a great choice. For Windows there's a product made by Feed4All.

  • New episodes not showing up in iTunes Music Store

Hi I'm trying to figure out why new episodes of our podcast don't show up on our iTunes Music Store Page in iTunes.
The last episode listed on the page is from October 29, 2006 even though there are episodes in the feed as recent as April 1, 2007. Once you click "subscribe" and go to the "podcasts" section of iTunes, you can see all the episodes, they just don't show up in the iTunes music store page.
    The feed is at:

    Any help is appreciated. -Steve

As said in the question, my ipod touch will not connect to the newest version of itunes. When I plug it in, my compter recognizes that a device has been connected, yet it will not show up in itunes. I didn't have this problem until I just updated to the new itunes. Someone help please!

  • Iphone not showing up in itunes & not connecting to computer

    Rite...
When i plug my iphone into my computer (WinXP, SP2) via the dock and straight from the USB cable, it does not show up in iTunes, Windows does not recognise it as a USB device and the camera pop doesnt show up. Basically Windows isn't recognising it at all.
    I've tried:
    restarting my computer.
    reinstalling itunes.
creating a new account on my pc, installing itunes and seeing if it connects; it did and worked fine, i logged out and and back onto my own profile, my iphone showed up and synched fine. I then restarted and the same problem occurred.
I've tried it in all my USB ports, and none want to read it. I have also tried other USB devices, which also don't want to be recognised. This wasn't the case a couple of days ago.
Also my iphone docked and synched fine after the upgrade both to itunes and the iphone.
Anyone else having this problem? I think it's a general USB problem with my PC, anyone have any ideas.
    Argh it's annoying!!

    I tried this:
"The problem seems to be that the install process treats everything PC like a Vista machine. If you go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE you'll find an oddly named directory inside it like usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B.
    Go into it. You'll find USBAAPL.CAT, usbaapl.inf and usbaapl.sys.
What I did was right click on the .inf file and pick install (don't know for sure if it needed that, but I'm not going to omit any steps just in case).
Open up C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and copy the usbaapl.sys file there.
Open up C:\WINDOWS\inf and copy usbaapl.inf there.
Again I right clicked on the .inf file copy in the C:\WINDOWS\inf directory and hit install. It then created the corresponding usbaapl.PNF in that directory.
I unplugged the pod from the usb port, rebooted the system, plugged the pod in again and voila, there it was. It found it and installed correctly"
    Which didn't work.
    - My iphone appears in the Services under 'Apple Mobile Device Service'
    - I can't verify the iphones driver because nothing is showing up in device drivers/managment
    -I have USB 2.0
