New Content not Appearing in Tabs/Windows

At least half of the time when I click on a link that opens in the same tab, or enter a query (eg, a search term on the Wikipedia main page), the content in the window does not change. Once or twice it was a little slow, and it appeared that the window did change for a second, but then went back to the same content (eg, Wikipedia main page with an empty query field, or the page that displayed the tab that I clicked on). I can often get to the content I'm seeking in a new tab by using CTRL>Click, nut often that doesn't work (probably because of the coding on the original web page?)
This is happening at least half of the time. I've done all the usual fix attempts, including updating Firefox, clearing cache and history, disabling add-ons, but the problem still happens.
I am running Firefox 7.0.1 on Windows Vista 64b Home Premium (it happened on earlier versions of Firefox too), on an HP laptop that's about 2 years old.
I can't find any information on the web or Firefox knowledge base about this, as though it hasn't happened to other people, but I'm sure it has. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!

Created a new module in UPK Developer. Added it to the Master Outline. Published. If run play.exe on the server the new content is seen. However, if try accessing it in EBS Help, only the old content is shown.

It could be a browser caching issue, or the help link URL is actually pointing to different location/files on the server. In IE, you can try CTRL R to clear the cache, or press F12 and clear the cache manually by selecting the option from the browser console menu. If that doesn't work, check the URL on the help link and compare it with the directrory structure on the server to make sure everything is in the right place, and that there are no duplicate player files. Also make sure you have copied up all the right player package files. Hopefully this helps.

Content not appearing on restricted windows account

Hi all,
I have a flash file in which certain items are set to Export
for AS.
"Export in first frame" is unchecked and those items are
placed on the
stage some frames after frame 1 to allow for a small loader
bar.
All's fine on a whole lot of machines (Mac, PC and all sorts
of
browsers) except for a group of PC's which run on a
restricted
useraccount and run only Internet Explorer. On those machines
the items
set to "Export for ActionScript" but not in frame one are not
shown.
Does anyone have any ideas?
QAD workaround I suppose could be to have it all load in
frame 1 and if
needed built a separate preloader but I would prefer to keep
it all in
one file...

Content is appearing in external window instead of presenting in Iview

Dear Experts
We are using Team Viewer Iview of MSS, the content is coming from R/3 system. but the content is appearing in External Window instead of appearing in the IVIew itself. This Iview has the tray which is blank and content in external window.
This applicaion works good for all the other languages except for French users.
Could you please tell us what could be the reason content is appearing in external window instead of presenting in Iview.

Are you saying that when you log in the portal you see a tab and clicking of the tab produces additional navigation. When you click the additional navigation you see the iview.
When you click the iview instead of being displayed in the portal content area it opens a new window? -

Are there any other iview within this navigation that display in the portal content area? ---> Yes
I have checked the properties open in new window or launch in new Portal content area all these are set perfectly but the content alone is appearing in external window only for French Users. we want the content to be appear in IVIEW of same portal screen.

New Photos not appearing in iPhoto but are in Show Contents

Hello,
I am have a few issues with iPhoto.
1. My last two imports of photos do not appear. the Last import is showing photos from back in 2013. If I Show Contents I can drill down and see in Master, Original a 2014/04/12 & 13 folder with sub folders and all the pictures. I made a not of the file names and back in Iphoto I tried to search for the image name but it did not retrn any results
2. I have had to force quit iPhoto 2-3 times in the past two days
3. Today when I open iPhoto, the Events do not show photo is is a black box. If I scroll up and down it then shows some photos, like I would nomally see.
Do this issue seem to indicate a problem with iPhoto, is there an index type issuse.. can I rebuild iPhoto in some way

No. If you know the file name of the photos that are not showing do a search form them with the search tool:
If the image shows up Control (right) - click on it and select Show Event from the contextual menu.
If it does'nt kdo the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

IPod Touch not appearing in devices windows 7 x64

i have itunes on my hp notebook running on windows 7 x64. recently, my notebook crashed and was returned to me with a new drive c: and default factory settings (i.e brand new). i installed itunes and then... my itouch wasn't able to sync! it is not even appearing as a portable camera device (before my notebook crashed, it did). i went to check other forums and tried out the various apple support article (e.g. uninstall (4x already!), update drivers, restore itouch etc.etc.etc.)
anyway, when i run services.msc and check apple mobile device, the service is not started. when i start it, it says "The apple mobile device service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically when they are not in use by other services or programs)". I reckon this is what's stopping my itouch from being recognised and syncing to itunes. Talked to a itunes champion and he couldnt help.
Would deeply appreciate it if someone can help me. Been spending christmas and new year's cracking my brains over this =/

Try taking a photo with your iPod and see if it then appears as a camera device.
(I am really new at this but I had mine appear as a camera because of 1 picture I took. When I deleted it, it does not appear now but I can still get into itunes.)

Time Machine: Excluded Items Do Not Appear In Excluded Window

I have been successfully using Time Machine for some time now. I switched to Lion about 5 weeks ago and I have also recently added a second TM 1TB Backup Drive (SeaGate) to use as an off-site backup of my 1TB External Media Drive (iOmega) and my entire 160GB Internal Drive. I have also restructured the Folders on my 1TB External Media Drive which would've effected the file path of almost every file. I have been experiencing a multitude of issues since then.
1. For the first time, I have been getting error messages telling me that the backup drive is full. I am only backing up a total of 782GB on the External and 133GB on the Internal (915GB Total). So to get around this I have been using the Exclude feature. This is where the next issue occurs..
2. When I add Folders to the Exclude list, they do not appear in the Exclude window; however the "Estimated size of full backup" dialog at the bottom right adjusts to reflect the changes. I cannot delete or use the "-" to remove folders from the list, because they do not appear to be there. I seem to be able to get around this by turning the TM Off then On again, but the trouble doesn't end there.
3. Once I have excluded enough folders for the backup to be small enough and I begin the backup, TM displays the "Preparing Backup" message for quite sometime. During this time several things tend to happen:
a) the entire computer begins to run VERY SLOW, with the PinWheel of Death showing up frequently
b) about every other time, the TM Preferences window crashes and displays an error message saying it encountered a problem and had to close
4. Even if I could successfully use this method of backing up 1 large folder at a time, it becomes very confusing as to what has been backed up recently and what still needs to be backed up. It basically goes against the entire idea of having an automated backup system to have to split up the backups in that manner.
I am very frustrated, as TM has traditionally been a trouble/worry-free system for me. I have seen many posts regarding the various error messages i've received but no one else is complaining about this Exclude issue. I am most appreciative of any help you may offer.

Turn off TM, Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, trash this file...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist
Reboot & try TM again.

Photos not appearing in view window

I have located all my photos on an external HD....well over a year ago. Never had any issues. Today I log on to do some work, and all of a sudden, where every photo should be in iPhoto viewer is a blank space....around 6500 library pics!
I've re-booted both external and mac several times but to no avail!
When looking at pics through Finder they are all there, but just not showing in iPhoto.
I've done NOTHING different!

Some things to try:
Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the library. Does iPhoto see it?
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
If these don't work then you may have a corrupted library. Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums back.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

New contacts not appearing in contact list after ios upgrade

I recently updated my iphone to the latest ios, since then when I have saved a new contact to my phone, even though it appears with the new contact, say in recents, it does not appear in my contacts list?

I added the contact from the "Recents" tab. It now shows in "recents" as that persons name - rather than just the phone number, but doesn't appear in my contact list. Same thing happened when I saved a new contact from a message I received & also when I saved from a contact that had been SMS'd to me.

Tab not appearing in Tab Page Group

I have a Tab Page Group called "CMG_MAIN". Within CMG_MAIN there is a tab called "Hierarchy" (event: CMG_TAB_HIER). When I launch PCUI, this tab does not appear even though every other tab in the Tab Page Group appears. I looked at the Inactive field and no flag is set. I have no idea why it is not appearing. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could you please put a breakpoint in the method CHECK_ACTIVE_TABSTRIP and let me know the contents of CT_TABSTRIP? Does it have your event CMG_TAB_HIER till the end of the method, or is it somehow deleted in this method?

ITunes miniplayer not appearing in taskbar Windows 7 64-bit

I am currently trying to add the little miniplayer in my taskbar, but it does not seem to work.
When I right-click my taskar and I go to Properties>Toolbars>Check iTunes and click Apply and close.
When I re-open iTunes and minimize it, it does not appear.
Then, when I go back to the properties of the toolbar the iTunes checkbox is UNCHECKED.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium and I am currently using iTunes Version 10.7

It's more than just uninstalling Itunes; there are 5 other apps that have to be uninstalled and in specific order. This particular Knowledge Base article applies to Windows Vista or Windows 7. For other Windows versions you'd have to look up the article for Windows XP.

New field not appearing in component configuration for standard web dypro

I'm trying to add a new column to a table in an sap web dynpro component. I've enhanced the view to add in the new column but also noticed that it's using component configuration. When I go into the approriate configuration, however, all of the existing columns are there but my new column does not appear. Is there something else I need to do to pull the new field into the configuration?

Standard object 0020 gives fields only available in standard tables MARA , MARC , MBEW, MAKT . I too faced this problem for ML based fields in accounting & costing views ( as these fields are not in MBEW they are in CKMLHD). The said Z field if it does not exist in MARC it cannot be seen through std object. U need to do a saperate recording to upload this field. I dont see any other option to my knowledge.U can up load remaing fields through the std object 0020 & create a saperate recorded LSMW only for this Z field.

New lot not appearing in qa32 - v urgent

Hi all,
I have an urgent issue to resolve. we have developed a report that shows those batches
-for which UD has been done 8 days before but no despatch till date OR
-for which no UD has been done and date of production is 8 days before from today.
User wants that a new lot for above batches should appear for UD again in qa32.
For this i have defined procedure as:
1. Run REPORT Which will identify batches older than 8 days (from the days of production or last UD date).
2.Go to QA07 Enter material codes, Batch numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot creation.This will transfer all the mentioned batches to blocked stock and create an inspection lot automatically.simultaneously an inspection lot will start appearing in transaction QA32, against this batch for inspection.
Now the issue is that after QA07, I can see in mb52 that stock of the batch move to restricted, but no inspection lot appears in qa32. a new inspection lot should appear in qa32.
any ideas ? have i missed anything? i have also done changes in inspection plan,
cant figure out what i missed. pls respond.

Let me simplify my question:
i have some batches in system for which UD had been done 8 days
before but no despatch has been done against those batches.User
want to give UD again for those batches.
what i advised him to change the inspection plan of those
materials by putting '9' in 'usage' and '4'in 'status' fields in
qp01 and then go to qa07 and enter material codes, Batch
numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot
creation.The batches automatically transferred to blocked stock.
Now the issue is that after batches transferrence to block stock,
new lot should appear in qa32 but its not appearing.any ideas??
Have I missed any thing? Kindly give a prompt reply.
