New N79 get switched off automatically....

friends i bought new N79 from dubai in dec 2009 bt my phone gets switched off automatically i have formatted it once but no improvement in that i can't understand why it get switched off sometimes when i operate it fast so again it get switched off....plz help me out from this problem..otherwise the phone is very good.

Actualy the main problem is that when i put the phone in to my jeans or trousers pocket it get switched off automatically i dont know how even if the phone is locked...the version is 32.001 & the custom version is 32.001.53.1 i have tried sftware update through nokia.co.in but it wont worked..i have one doubt that it dont worked because the phone is bought from dubai & i m trying to update it here in india...i tried the software update but still when i check the software version through *#0000# it shows not updated.
yes the button of on/off is on the top of the phone & unlock key is also there...do u have the same problem wid your N79..do u got any solution...yes sometimes it get switched off when trying to unlock it...plz help. do you have N79..?

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

N73 ME Getting Switched off Automatically, every 1...

Hey,
I have an N73 Music Edition since Oct 2007. Its been almost an year now, but i never faced any problem. But recently it is screwing up my time. Since 2 days, it is getting switched off automatically every 15 minutes. It was very fine until 2 days, but suddenly started.
Read a lot of articles which asked me to update my phone software. So i have updated the phone software to firmware version 4.08 from nokia website. The phone worked well for a day and then again the same problem started.
Is the issue due to software? Or is it because something else like hardware prob etc.

E71 gets switched off automatically

Hi Guys,
I am facing a strange problem with my E71 set.
It gets switched off on its own.
1) While using it will hang for a second, power goes off and will restart on its own.
2) If not in use (standby) the power goes off fully and I will have to switch it on again with the power button.
Can any one tell whats the reason for this and possible solution.

There are a couple of reasons:
It might be a software issue or something related to the hard ware too......... wats ur current firmware and make sure u got the latest one....... After dat u can also try out the following options
1) Go in for a hard reset make sure u have a backup
'*' '3' 'Call Key' and Power button all pressed at the same time after u have removed ur phone battery for at least 5 mins. It wud turn ur phone as it was when it left the factory
2) Either to master reset and reformat ur phone
*#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default
*#7370# - Reformat your phone
Phone reset code: *#7370# with lock code 12345
3) Ur memory card could also be the culprit.
Try using ur device without the memory card......
Try and get rid of the corrupt data in your card and the problem should be solved.
menu--tools--memory---options---format memory card......
remember everything including ur factory installed apps will be deleted......... but u can always download them later either from nokia or google them...
if all this does not work then go to nokia care point and tell them to find a solution

My mobile switch off automatically

Hi,
I bought Nokia Asha 501 two weeks back it automatically get switched off when i keep in pocket and sits down for a while. Not sure whether it automatically press down on/off switch. But it often happens when i keep in pocket and sit .When i try to switch it ON it gets ON and immediately switches OFF again.
Could you please advise what would be the problem. it's a new phone.

Hi,
No this does not happen in flat surface or in table, it only happens while in pocket and sit. To some extent i agree the issue might be due to some pressure in the battery contact.But when i switch ON it gets ON and after loading application it gets switched off automatically . Then i have to take out the back panel and battery then it switches ON.
Please suggest me how to avoid this situation.

Ipad getting switched off simultaneously and again restarts automatically

i've an ipad2 3g which is just 3 months old, recently just getting switched off every now & then
after every 5-6 mins apprx. (not on specific applications, it happens always), i've tried reset also made sure there are no apps running in the background, still facing the same issue, any fix?....plz suggest apart from restore which i've already done
whenever it restarts, the battery percentage also drops down
for example if it is 75% when i m using, after it restarts it reduces to 70% which is abnormal behaviour i believe, plz help

The file adapter BPEL process reads a csv file which has a series of records in itfrom /xfer/chroot/data/aramex/accountUpdate/files. In between reading the files, the BPEL process gets switched off. IPhone 3G switches off automatically

My iphone 3G switches off automatically when the carrier GSM signal is very low. Has anybody faced this problem? If so please let me know about the possible solution. Thanks.

No, it never works no matter where I am, its stuck. I haven't had 3G no matter where I've been for over a month now. I am sitting right next to other iphone users whose phone is on 3G with good signal strength (same iphone 3g and sw I'm running). It's always gotten 3G at my house, now it never stays on. I'm running the most recent SW. In Network settings I can switch it on, but the second I leave the screen it switches off. So annoying because I get feedback from computers and tv and it's SLOW!
