New page tb not loading correctly.

Awhile ago, my grandson downloaded something to my computer that installed the Babylon search engine to my computer. It replaced the new page tabs. I have removed Babylon from my machine, at least everything I could find, but the new page tab still loads Babylon. Firefox has updated twice since then and it still happens. I have checked the plug ins, the add ons, the search preferences and can not find any mention of Babylon. Help please as I do not want this happening. I want the new page back that shows the pictures. How do I do this?

Try to reset some preferences to the default with the SearchReset extension:
Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the about:addons page.

Recent iOS update has made my iPad 2 unusable. The screen locks up. It's very laggy and web pages do not load correctly.  Is there a fix for this or are they even working on a fix.

    Try some basic troubleshooting:
    (A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

I am using IE because I can't get to my email on Firefox now that I updated it. Also, my banking pages do not load correctly. What did I do wrong? When I updated Firefox I did not add the extras included. Could that be what is wrong.

  • Page does NOT load correctly in FIREFOX

My HOME page does not RELOAD correctly in FIREFOX when when
the link is clicked on from another page in my little "2 page"
    site.
BUT if I click on the BACK button it loads CORRECTLY
    It works correctly in IE
    Here is the Home page:
    http://www.quicksubmitbrokerswholesale.com/
Here is page 2 where clicking on the link in FIREFOX loads
    incorrectly:
    http://www.quicksubmitbrokerswholesale.com/submitforpricing.html
What do I need to TWEAK to make it work OK in FIREFOX?
    Thanks in advance

Here is the crux of all your problems:
    <!-- Fireworks 4.0 Dreamweaver 4.0 target.
You built the site in Fireworks, and a very old version at
    that, and then
imported the site into DW. Graphics apps like Fireworks and
    Photoshop
produce bloated, convoluted code and fragile structures. If
    you want a
worthwhile site you will have to start over. Create only your
    graphics in FW
and build the entire site in DW. Be cautioned though such an
    old version of
DW won't produce a site consistent with today's standards.
    You really should
upgrade if you want to deliver value to your client.

  • Pages do not load correctly in Win8

From time to time, when I go to a webpage, it will not load correctly. It will look as if the CSS file has not loaded. Gmail won't load at all; it gets stuck at the loading bar. I'm using Firefox 18, Windows 8 x64. The problem also happened with 17. It does not occur on any computer besides my Windows 8 machine.
If I clear the cache of the last hour, the problem is fixed temporarily. If I ctrl-F5, the problem is fixed temporarily.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I have deleted and created a brand new firefox profile. I have cleared all caches and cookies. I have used the "Reset Firefox" button under the Troubleshooting Information. None of these have fixed the problem.

So far after about an hour of testing, Windows Safe Mode has resolved the problem. However, since I do not know the cause, I cannot intentionally cause the issue to crop up.
I will say this: I already have Windows Defender and Firewall disabled during normal use.

  • My pages are not loading correctly---get index-like pages.

Web pages like NASCAR.COM, The Daily Beast are not loading correctly. All I get are lists of links.
''moderator edited the title of this thread''

''get index-like pages for NASCAR.COM, The Daily Beast''
For nascar.com if I turn off page styling it kind of looks like indexes.
From the View menu (Alt+V) see if what you have for Page Style -- if you have a theme try Basic Style to see if it fixes, and try "No style" to see if it looks the same as you currently see.
Besides themes, styles, and GreaseMonkey scripts you might have an extension such as Adblock Plus blocking some styles.

  • My page is not loading correctly after server work? Help?

A couple of days ago I was having issues uploading files to my webserver and come to find out, they were working on something on their end.
So okay.  But now, certain pages on my website are not loading correctly.  These are not necessarily pages I was working on during the issues
with the server.  Whats more, they appear to load fine in Mozilla, but they don't load correctly in Chrome.  Chrome is what I have been using lately,
and I did not have any issues with these pages prior to a few days ago.  Basically the formatting on the page is all screwed up.  I contacted the techs
on the sever side and they said it what outside their scope and said it was likely server/script incompatability???  I have no idea what this is or why
since my page was working just fine a few days ago.  The "home" page loads correctly, but basically if you click on "About" , "contact" or any of
the other pages you will see what I mean if you are using Chrome (unless it is actually my computer?)  I would appreciate any input you might have,
and here is the link to my page:
    http://rickcicciarelli.com/AntiqueTargetThrowers.html

So I realized that I must have messed with the screen resolution by accidently touching the  touchpad on my laptop.  So it appears, that the page loads funny in certain screen resolutions.  What doesn't make sense is that the laptop will be set at a certain resolution and the "home" page loads properly, but the other pages shrink down and load funny.  So when I change the  screen resolution to what it is 'suppose' to be, the page loads fine.  So this begs the question, why should it load funny in a different screen resolution?

  • Certain pages will not load correctly (Low bandwidth)

All of a sudden, some web pages in firefox will NOT load up correctly. They seem to be low bandwidth or mobile versions of the actual page. My home page, including ebay and a few others are starting to do that. It is only characters, without images or pictures, and everything seems enlarged on the webpage. Ebay has fixed itself however other pages remain like this. Google chrome displays them correctly. What is going on? (ive put ONE of the pages below)

Check the version of Pages that you have. Many users are finding problems with the iWork apps in Snow Leopard due to not having the latest updates as of the September 28 installed. For iWork '09 it's Pages 4.0.2 & Numbers 2.0.2. iWork '09 has since had update 3. I don't use Keynote, but it should also be updated. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work. You also should consider updating Snow Leopard to 10.6.1.
After applying all of the updates use Disk Utility to repair permission.

  • JSP / HTML page does not load correctly in IE

I have a particular jsp page, which has heavy volume of data and it does not load completely in IE, but loads perfectly in Firefox and Safari.

None of the people in my team were able to solve this issue.Well if you provided your team with the same amount (none) of information you provided here, then I would understand.
Please send in your suggestions as to why this is happening or if there are any known bugs in IE.Personally, I think it's the flux capacitor.

  • Pages sometimes not loading correctly until refres...

    Hello
I have noticed that sometimes when I load a page, I get a 404 message until I refresh or, most commonly on forums, I get a 'server busy' message or something like that. I refresh the page and then it is fine. This happens very rarely, but it's still weird. Is this a common problem? The browsers I use are ie10 and chrome and my internet setup is modem connected to router by ethernet and I have broadband not fibre optic. Any help will be very welcome
    Thanks

  • Web page not loading correctly

This web page does not load correctly in Firefox but is okay in other browsers:
    http://forums.techguy.org/
    Can anyone help please?

Hi, I don't think it's important to understand the results, it does us no good, other than to know they've made a mistake when designing that page, perhaps just a minor one that affects several thing after that, and that some Browsers can handle or figure out that error.
A bit like I ask a browser to draw me a map of what's at 1st & James street, and there is no 1st & James, but there is a nearby 1st & Main street, & a 2nd & James, so one browser refuses to draw what's at 1st & James since there is nothing, another draws what's at 1st & Main street, & what's at 2nd & James, figuring that must be what's wanted.
Bottom line, someone caring for that site needs to fix the error, or you can use a browser that handles that problem.
