New site - IE 8 - Chrome Errors
We are doing a new website. The test domain is blinkvisualdesign5.com On Safari and Firefox, all is good. On IE8 and Chrome, we are told that it is not loading the pages correctly. Please help.

I took a quick peek at your site in Chrome (Mac OS 10.5 and Win XP) and IE 8 (Win XP), and the site loaded correctly. I suspect this may be an issue with the Flash Player on these particular browsers. Could you tell me:
1. The OS(es) involved
2. What Flash Player the browsers are running (see http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/)
3. If other Flash content is loading correctly in the browsers mentioned
It might help if you could supply a screenshot of the failed load too. I'm mostly curious about the point at which the load fails.

I'm trying to publish a new site from Muse. I done this before over the last year with no problems. Today when I choose "Publish," a login box appears with the message, "Please enter your Adobe Business Catalyst password to upgrade your account to use Adobe ID. Once upgraded, future interactions with Adobe Business Catalyst will require your Adobe ID credentials." When I do so, I receive an error message that states in its entirety "Unknown Error." I've confirmed that my account is in good standing (Creative Cloud subscriber). Any ideas about what's going on?

Hello, When I have a site open and wish to close it, the window closes but if I want to immediately open a new site, I get an error box saying that Firefox is already open. I usually takes several minutes for the close process to work properly before I can open a new site url.
I also have been having system crashes when I am looking at video--can be news reports, video on my harddrive, or any other streaming video I may be watching. Is this due to Firefox or can you say?

Error while creating a new site for a supplier associated with an Employee
Hi
We create suppliers for all the employee when we get daily HR feed and create a default site OFFICE for all of them,
Now when from the front end we try creating a new supplier site HOME.
It gives an error

Error creating new Site in Sharepoint 2013 SP1
Hello, I am having an issue creating a new Site. The Environment is SharePoint 2013 SP1 Running on Server 2012 R2 DataCenter. This is a fresh install currently running on 2 Servers (App/Web, SQL Server). I successfully install SharePoint and then the Service
pack, then run configuration to setup the Farm. I successfully am able to setup a Web Application and Create a site collection. When I attempt to navigate to that site collection site on port 80 I get the "Sorry, Something went wrong"

I've made sure a dozen times that my home page is set correctly, and when I hit the home button next to the search bar it works and takes me right to google BUT whenever i open a new tab i get the error that my page cannot load and the web url that it keeps trying to remember is in the error message:

Sorry, something went wrong --- I got an error message after a new webapp was built and a new site collection was created.
This in SharePoint 2013 Farm.
What should I do?
1- I did a DisableLoopBack and set the value to "1".
For hostname do I have to do : 111.111.111.111 (sample) and serversp2013?

For troubleshooting your issue, please take steps as below:
1.Go to IIS, make sure the web application is actived.
2.Go to IIS -> Applicaiton Pools, make sure the application pool related to your web application is started.

Creation of new site failed with error
We are using SAP ME 5.2.4.3.
Today I have tried to create a new site via
Site *
User ADMIN
Password *****
using the following values:
Site: 1301
Description: ODS Training
Type: Production
Site is Local: Checked
Tiime Zone: Europe/Vienna
I also set a password for the admin on the new site.
After saving the site I got the following error message:

Looks like the error happened during the initial data load for your site, exactly APPLICATION_SETTING_BO object. Make sure that APPLICATION_SETTING table exists in the DB and it matches your version of ME 5.2.4.3 (all the fields are correct).
Also you can match the table with the corresponding ApplicationSettingBO.idat

This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.-
Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with

One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-

Here is the scenario. (SharePoint 2013)
In Dev/Test/Prod any Site that we Save as Template and include content and then, Download and try to use in a new Site Collection errors out upon use "List does not exist" error.
This occurs with ANY Site, even OOB Team Site template that is immediately "Saved as Template".
We can do this in any other environment (we have several test labs 1 in O365 and 1 in VM that is very OOB)
We can take the site solution from the environments we're having the issue in and use them successfully in our Lab environments (on prem or in the cloud).
We have also tried taking Site solution from lab environment (where we know it works fine) and tried to use these in Dev/Test/Prod and they also error on us.
In the Dev/Test/Prod environments that have the issue if we DO NOT include content, the template works just fine to create a new site collection with the template.
Keep in mind we're talking about environment with no 3rd party apps, no custom code, just 2013 SharePoint with all patches and CU up to June 2013, AND this is ANY template even a vanilla OOB template without anything in it.
You can always save site as template including content, download/upload it to new site collection solutions gallery and activate it without any issue... it's only if you try to use these templates to create a site that the error occurs.
Any thoughts on this?
JI also experiencing the same issue. I also tried to create a new site-collection using publishing site template, resulting in "list not found" error.
Later I tried just a team-site (with content) -> the same error.
The error appears on two different (post SP1) farms. That's why I tested the site-collection creation on an old (pre SP1) farm: the error doesn't exist. Site-Collections are created properly.
My conclusion is: either SharePoint SP1 or a later CU causing the error.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?Are you running both SiteAdmin and SiteAdmin.Versioned on your publishing server?
Also have you done any customization in SiteRepository?
Try getting merged XML for /atg/multisite/SiteRepository through Dyn Admin Component browser and make sure it comes up nicely for both production and publishing servers -
Just published a new site to an FTP server and I got a 404 error message saying the site doesn't exist. When I retype the name of the site, I get a page from my hosting service saying this is the future home of [my site]. Any ideas?

thanks for responding. I read your link, looked at my settings and they were all correct. I tried to do a republish and got this message: The requested URL /childrenandcaring/index.html was not found on this server.
When I type the address in the address bar, I go to the site and the page says: This is the new site childrenandcaring.com
Any other ideas?

Everyone else can see the new site.. but when I punch the website address into Firefox... I am redirected to the odd site.
Now I have flushed the DNS (ipconfig /flushDNS) and I have cleared the cache, cookies and everything I can possibly clean I have...but it still redirects.
So there is something I am not doing above all that, that I need to do... any ideas what it is.
I have also gone into FireFox config and changed the network.dnsCacheExpiration as the preference name to 0
Thanks guys for the help.. as I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.Do you want to try bypassing your ISP by changing DNS servers? You could try OpenDNS or Google Public DNS. One way to change this is at the Windows level (in the TCP/IP properties dialog), and another is in your router. Something more temporary would be to change your IE connection settings (I think it's under LAN Settings). However, the details are beyond what I can look up at the moment.

Publish New Site - Mobile Me Log In Error....
I'm just trying to publish a new site created in iWeb via my MBP to MobileMe, however when I try and publish the site, it asks me to sign in (or sign up to Mobile Me). When I select sign in, it takes me to the system preferences/mobileme and it shows me that I am already logged in.
When I go back to iWeb and try to publish the site, it again asks me to sign in.
Anyone have any ideas on this one ?From a MobileMe support person:
First, please make sure you have quit out of iWeb. Then I would suggest resetting your MobileMe System Preferences. To do this, open the MobileMe System Preference, sign out, and enter a random set of letters and numbers for the MobileMe member name and password, then press the Return key. After you receive notice that the name or password is invalid, close System Preferences, reopen the MobileMe System Preference, and reenter your MobileMe member name (without the "@me.com") and password. Then open up iWeb again and re-publish your site again.

Cause:
"This is caused by zone indexed fields that were created outside of the Content Server interface. Dropping and recreating the zoned index fields should resolve the issue."
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
Log in to the Content Server through the browser as sysadmin.
Navigate to Administration -> Zone Fields Configuration.
On this page, change the value of the search engine in the dropdown list to DatabaseFullText if database full text indexing is being used. Leave it set to Database if database metadata only indexing is being used.
If there are fields listed in the left-hand box (Zone Text Fields):
Make a note of all the fields listed in the left-hand box (Zone Text Fields), or take a screenshot of this page.
Remove all of the fields from the Zone Text Fields box by highlighting each field and clicking the right arrow.
Click the Update button.
Run the following query directly against the database to see if any zoned fields are still present. The zoned fields can be identified by the ZFT suffix, for example, DDOCTITLE_REVISIONS_ZFT:
Select index_name from user_indexes where table_name = 'REVISIONS';
If any indexes with the ZFT suffix are returned in the results as an index, drop that index from the Revisions table in the database.
Verify that the error no longer appears.
Re-add any desired zoned field indexes through the Administration -> Zone Fields Configuration page.

Aperture crashes when I attempt to update a vault
recently, when I have attempted to update a vault I get the spinning wheel and Force Quit informs me that Aperture is not responding. I have rebuilt the library, attempted the action on two different Macs (both latest operating systems), used differe
