New Symbols for Keynote 3... again

Updated my Symbols file again.

This time, I left out stars since Keynote does a great job of creating those automagically within the program. This is also Keynote 3 only since the other shapes will do fine for Keynote 2 (these have been altered to work better with "Make Editable". Also, I did away with bullets since I'm moving in that direction when creating my presentations and thought I'd give other users an example of how to accomplish non-bullets using tables. "If it's not a gun, it shouldn't have bullets" or some such thing like that.
Anyway, enjoy the new-old shapes!

Ah, Brian, you're right.
This was the duo I was referring to MekenTosj (although their server seems down at the moment, I'm sure they're alive and this is a real duo).
In Dutch, this pronounces precisely the full Mac name, hence the mixup.

How do I install new themes for keynote purchased throught the app store?

I have downloaded some Keynote themes fron a site but I have no way (that I can see) to install them. I've done extensive googling and I always find instructions that say that I have to add the downloaded themes (.kth files) into the ~/Library/Application Support/Keynote/Themes folder. However, I have no such directory.
I purchased Keynote via the App Store. Could this be the reason why I don't have this directory on my hard disk? How does one install new themes then?

While I am at it and since there must be a lot of Keynote experts around, I'll ask another question about a problem that is driving me crazy. I'm one of those thousands of new converts and I have a lot of old PowerPoint files that took me a lot of time to create. I'm trying to import them into Keynote but some of them are giving me trouble. The problem comes when I try to change the theme (I just want to change the background). When I have complex slides involving many objects, if I change the theme all these objects abandon their original positions and everything becomes garbled. I think this has to do with the aspect ratio of the slides but I haven't found any way of fixing it. No matter what size I choose in the Theme Chooser, the result is the same.
I would really appreciate any help you people can offer with any of these problems. Thanks in advance.

New software for keynote, numbers, etc.

I have bought apps for business like keynote, numbers, etc. but I need new software. But after three trials download was not successfull.
Why is there no warning before downloading an app which version of software you need to succeed?
Any hints?

Where are you downloading from ? Apps for the iPad (and iPhone and iPod Touch) can only be downloaded from the iTunes App Store (not the Mac App Store), and I'm not aware that any have any sort of 'trial' version - you either buy the full version or, if there is one, get the free cut-down 'lite' version. Software that you've bought for your Mac (which runs Mac OS) cannot be installed on your iPad (which runs iOS). If you've already bought an app for your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch then you can re-download it for free if you delete it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).

Question about Tables, New Territory for me once again.

Adding a Table to a scrollPane is easy enough but what I am trying to do is add Label1, Table1, Label2, Table2, Label3, and Table3 to a single scrollPane. Is this possible?

Also I was hoping to have it setup so that I could have them all in a single scrollPane and have additional rows in a table would just drop everything else down a little more in the layout. I have only seen one way to put a table into a scrollPane and that's by doing:JScrollPane scrollPane= new JScrollPane(table); Is it possible to do Label, Table, Label, Table, Label, Table all controlled by a single scrollPane and show all of the data in each? These tables are all related material and it would be a major pain to have to scroll down each of the tables individually.

Copying a symbol -- create new symbols?

Alright, so say I have a movie clip, whose name is "A". This
clip contains a graphic, named "B". Now, there are two things I
want to do: the first is copy the movie clip as a new symbol and
then edit the graphic in this new symbol. Ok, so I do that special
"Copy to new instance" or whatever feature (the name escapes me)
and it will now paste a movie clip called "A copy" or some name
like that. However, this symbol "A copy" will still contain the
graphic "B", and so I won't be able to edit "B" for only "A copy".
The "B" in both A and "A copy" will change.
So I ask, is there a copy function that will create a new
symbol for A and also create new symbols for all the objects inside
A? (i.e. in the example this copy function would give me a movie
clip called "A copy" containing a graphic called "B copy)

in addition to david - duplicate A and B - then you can edit
either one without effecting the originals.

I can't get update iWork because I updated keynote first so it says I have a newer version of keynote and quits the update for the rest

I got a new mac with lion on it and I transfered all my stuff from the old mac to the new one. When I went to use iwork the programs did not work anylonger (I do own the disc and tried reinstalling but no good). I found the update for Keynote on the apple site and that solved the problem for keynote. Then I saw the update for the whole iwork program and tried to do that as well but it won't let me run it because it says I have a newer version of Keynote already installed. How do I get the update to work or how do I get the same type of update for numbers and pages individually? Thanks!

Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

The new method for getting at the "option" symbols works fine in other places like spotlight, but now even the older "option+letter" doesn't work in most places.

Chrome doesn't support the new accent/diacritics/macron chooser. I'm not sure about other browsers such as Firefox. You can use the old Option+letter combination that Doug suggested. Hopefully updates will solve these little incompatibilities shortly.

I assume that you don't have the installation discs, so:
1. Reboot
2. Hold command + s key down after you hear the chime.
3. When you get a text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
(Type these commands very carefully)
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
4. You will go through the setup process again, create a new admin account, login to it and then change your existing account password or whatever else you need to do. You can delete the account you made in this process, or not.

Since moving to Maverick and the new updated of Keynote, I have a constant problem when typing in a text box, the program crashes. Is there a bug fix for this. Drives me nuts.

How to create new text symbols for the standard program.

Based on the customer's requirement, I need to create a new implicit enhancement for the selection screen.
I want to create new text symbols for the parameters and blocks, but I cannot change the standard ones.
Does anybody know something about that? Thank you.

I have the same problem. FaceTime works fine on my iMac but when trying to use FaceTime on my Macbook Air, I have the same issue you describe.
