Check your junkmail and spam filters.
Check your account settings that you did not put in a typo for your rescue?
Go to https://appleid.apple.com and click the Password & Security link after managing your account.

  • HT204053 How to set up E-Mail for ICloud on IPad

Hoe do I change Password for Email set up
    for ICloud ?

It depends on what PDF viewer you're using. For example, if you include a digital signature field, it will behave like a e-signature field in Readdle's PDF Expert. Adobe Reader for iOS has a feature that lets you create a signature by drawing with you finger and applying it wherever you want. PDF Expert has this feature too, so there's not really anything special you need to do apart from informing your users which PDF viewer works best with the form. Note that some don't support form features at all, while others have limited support, particularly for JavaScript.

  • What Am I Doing or Not Doing on Mail For iCloud?

Ok, I did the iCloud thing, and now people are emailing me saying that the my addres for Mac: [email protected] is being bounced back when they return the message on that email account.  I sent myself an email via my Entourage, and it came back as undelivered.  What's going on? I can send and received email on Entourage, but apparently not on the Mac mail since moving everything to iCloud  I have no other mail address on my iPhone that I can send emails, and if people can't reply to the mac.com address, I'm going to lose business. How can I fix it?  Thanks for any help.

yeah, now it works with me.com instead of mac.com....if you know this answer that will prevent me from going over to iPhone...how do I change my address in the iPhone and IPad 2?.....Here's my mail address that can only be sent out via iPhone, iPad 2......[email protected]...I also use Entourage, and but must manually change it to the mac.com to send email via  the pad or phone.  So how do I get it to read: [email protected]?  Probably an easy answer, but I'm an 18 vet of Macs, and still a computer illiterate.
    Thanks again

  • HT204053 How can I get the verification e-mail for iCloud to be resent?

I have found the option to have the e-mail veification to be sent out, clicked for the request some 10 times and so far I haven't gotten the e-mail to verify it! No access to i Cloud.

Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account.  Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
If this isn't working for you, contact iTunes store support for assistance: https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • Why aren't I receiving the account verification e-mail for iCloud?

I'm not receiving the verification e-mail after repeated attempts.  My e-mail address is my apple ID, is valid and is a gmail account.  I'm logged in but the account is not verified.  And no, the e-mail is not in my spam or trash folder, lol.

Update!  I deleted the account on my iPhone (which was never really set up to begin with) and set up the iCloud through my iPad.  Worked immediately.  Now my mac, iPhone and iPad are all good to go.  Hmmm, but yay!

  • No verification e-mail for Icloud

I can open up the ICloud page on my Windows PC but when I put my Icloud details in, it tells me that I will receive a verification e-mail on what to do next to set up my account. However, it seems as if this mail doesn't get sent to me. I tried numerous times to change the password thinking there was an issue with that but it seems not to solve the issue.
Please help me with this problem.
    Thank you.

  • Change E-mail for iCloud account on devices?

I have changed my E-mail account in iCloud via my iMac computer. The reason is that my old E-mail that I used will dissapear soon. I cannot figure out how to change it on my iPhone 5, Macbook Air and iPad?. It is filled in as a default under iCloud and I cannot changed it? Please help.

To change the ID on your iOS devices, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the changed ID.  This will delete the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account, your data will reappear when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to the camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).
To change the ID on your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with your changed ID.

  • I changed my apple id email address to try jumpstart my account to send me a verification email for iCloud activation.  It worked but now I cannot change back to my original email address.  It says its in use.

    Hi Guys
I am writing this on behalf of a friend of mine.  To understand my issue let me explain how it started.  My friend has a apple ID with email address (lets call it) [email protected]  when activating iCloud on her iPhone a email was sent to verify her account.  This was not done and rendered the iCloud feature disabled due to not being activated.  [email protected] is the correct email address and works.  A form of troubleshooting I used the iForgot service to test if the email address was correct and mail flow from apple was working and it worked fine.
I logged into apple id to manage account and resend activation email for iCloud.  this did not send the mail.  I waited 48hrs but to no avail.
I decided to kickstart the account to force it to send to another email address by changing the primary email address from [email protected] to [email protected]  it worked and I verified the address and iCloud is now active.  However now I cannot change the primary email address back to [email protected] as it says its being used by another apple ID.
I then tried iForgot with the [email protected] email address, it says it sent a email to [email protected] but nothing arrived in [email protected] or [email protected]
I have this feeling the [email protected] is stuck I'm memory on my apple ID some how but can't get it to forget [email protected] so that I can use it as my primary email address again.
I have tried to log into iTunes with my original details [email protected] and password but says its incorrect.
any advices in this would be greatly appreciated.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

  • Mail stopped working for iCloud

    I have an iMac 3.2Ghz Intel Core i3 - 12GB RAM - OS 10.6.8
Tonight my iCloud mail account stopped receiving and sending email... just stopped... worked three years ago... worked yesterday... worked this afternoon... now it doesn't work. I get this error message "The MobileMe IMAP server 'imap.mail.me.com' rejected the password for user '[email protected]'"
I don't want to upgrade to the newer OS because they won't work with older programs like Appleworks. I have 23 years worth of Apple works files that I use as a school teacher and I am not interested in learning a new application.
Mail always worked before. I made absolutely no changes in any settings. I can send and receive web eMail on iCloud.com, so I know the account is still active. All the other email accounts are active and online. Only the iCloud account stopped working.
Did something change with Apple? Did they stop supporting Mail for Snow Leopard?
    Thanks for any advice.

Some very simple workarounds and other comments.  I apologize for such a back to basics post.
The last post is 6 days old and I still have a problem.
I noticed the same problems with my iCloud mailbox using Mail 4.6 and OSX 10.6.8, it simply stopped working about a week ago and I can get it partially/sometimes working for a while by fiddling server settings. Changing your settings is a waste of time - this is Apple's problem to address. Making these changes just makes you feel like you're doing something helpful while they fix whatever is really broken.
If you are completely locked out of using your mail then the following 2 suggestions will get past that.
    1. Use a browser to get to icloud.com, login, and select Mail. You should now have complete access to email.
    2. If you use an ios device then you'll probably already have your email on it.  If not, then set up your iCloud account in your iPhone/iPad/iPod mail program.  Again this will give you "complete" access to your email.
I put complete in quotes since you obviously cannot easily transfer to/from Mac applications from your phone.

  • We purchased a new iPad2 and registered it using a 'new' iCloud email/ID. We are unable to send email from the iPad and iPhone. The error is: Cannot send mail. The user name or password for iCloud is incorrect.

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone.  Advise would be 'wait' before you start seeking alteranatives like yahoo, hotmail, etc.  This definitely is a convenient way to keep all your 'cloud' information in a centralized place, including the common email...

You create an @icloud.com address in the first place by signing into Settings>iCloud with your Apple ID and choosing an addres - you can only create an @icloud.com address, not @me.com.
Then if you want further addresses on the same account you can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

  • How do I stop the message "user name or password for iCloud is incorrect" from popping up 2 times in a row when i try to get mail from other accounts? thank you in advance

How do I stop the message "Cannot get mail. The user name or password for iCloud is incorrect" from popping up 2-4 times consecutively every time I choose MAIL on my iPhone 4,  7.1.1  I have to select "OK" 2-4 times each time before I can read other email accounts.  I used to have an "@me.com" account which I think was automatically changed to an "@icloud.com account."  I opened a new iCloud.com account yesterday because I could not figure out how to get in the old ones.  I want to delete the original @me & original iCloud account.  When I try to delete the account, they tell me my DOB is wrong. I just want those pop ups to stop.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Suzanne,
It sounds like you’re running into a password issue with an older Apple ID that’s setup on your iPhone, which is preventing you from removing an iCloud account from your device. Take a look at the article linked below, it outlines all of the possible ways to change an Apple ID password.
If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
After you enter your Apple ID, there are three ways you can change your password:
Answer your security questions. Use these steps if you know the answers to your security questions.
Use email authentication. We'll send you an email that you can use to change your password.
Use two-step verification. If you set up two-step verification, you can use it to change your password. You just need your recovery key and a trusted device.
    So long,
    -Jason
