You probably have some kind of adware installed, assuming that your Mac is not actually running OS 9 or earlier (systems that date back to the 90s). I'm assuming that the forum choice was an error, as I doubt such an old system would even be capable of properly displaying modern websites. What version of Mac OS are you actually running? (Go to the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.)

I've noticed on my new ipad 4 that many images when on the Internet are blurred and low resolution why is this? Because if you go on apples website everything is crystal clear????

Ebay images look fine on mine. Image zoom doesn't work, but that's not suprising. I also support a number of public and private websites wth a number of images (some pretty large). Those look fine as well. If the Apple website looks good, there is no raeson other sites shouldn't as well.
For eBay specifically, I'd recommend using its app, but in general, you could try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

Importfileinto fails PNG's on SOME computers WHEN on the internet (shockwave)

I have a shockwave that uses preloadnetthing/importfileinto
to import various files (eg jpg's , png's , w3d's );
use my laptop as an example:
- when in author mode ( Director 10 ) all files do as
expected;
- when on the internet,
the png's download correctly, eg netdone(..)=1 ,
neterror(...) = 'OK' ;
but the importfileinto seems to fail; eg
member(my_png).number = -1 OR ...type=#empty
furthermore, when on other machines, everything works as
expected; eg ...type=#bitmap ;
any thoughts???

Itunes Sounds Choppy, particularly when on the internet

Hey there,
Itunes all of a sudden sounds very choppy; jumpy, particularly when surfing the internet. Don't understand why; running latest Windows with intel core i7 processor and plenty of RAM so it shouldn't be an issue. Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases. Some users have found this eliminates the issue.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I am going to assume you are using Safari here. If so then go to the Apple menu bar and hit Safari-> Preferences. Under the Apperance tab there is a check box that is called "Display images when the page opens". Check if that is unticked.

Perhaps Safari isn't quite what you require, too much work involved all the time making it easier to see
Take a look at my customized Firefox:
it always opens to the same size window (or full screen if you like)
it always zooms all web pages 160% (or whateve you like)
it always has large type on the menu bar area. (to whatever you like)
it's very highly customizable, (or use the plain default settings)
has more add-ons than anyone (a real plus when you need it)
has more themes and personas than anyone (make it YOUR browser)

Safari is about the absolute worst browser since Internet Explorer, it's because Apple has already got your money so there isn't any incentive for them to make a better browser.

However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call. I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss. The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens. All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again.

Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice
Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself.
I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue. I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web. Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here.

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.

My Iphone5 was replaced and having same Problem. Only does this when using bluetooth for talking.

I have the exact same issue... I've been using a Jabra Extreme2 and just this weekend, bought a Plantronics Marque2 and today had the same issue, so it's clearly not the headset but the phone or OS.
I might try a restore and see if it helps...
