No content found on youtube....ANYWHERE!

Everything works fine except for youtube. I believe I am logged in but everything tells me "no content was found" there is a problem communicating with youtube. try again later Anyone please help me out! I am sure it is something simple. But zero experience with youtube or the apple tv.

Same. History seems to work as well as the same featured content as yesterday when you go back to the main menu. Everything else gives me the same error and search doesn't work at all. Tried resetting multiple times and logging out as well.
If you have an iOS device with (I believe) 4.2 or higher the workaround is to use AirPlay. There seems to be a bug in iOS 5 where any app that plays AirPlay will stop playing after the device locks. This seems to affect every AirPlay app I have used whether it supports multitasking or not. To stop this you can turn your Auto-Lock off under general settings.
I would contact YouTube but the only way I know how is to send them a Tweet, which I just did. Seems to be nothing on their support site about Apple TV.

....That is the message I receive on my TV having reached episode 10 of 25 in a series bought from Apple TV, the first 9 episodes have all been fine and from episode 17 through 25, well they seem to be intact also. I have checked my downloads/purchases and the episodes in question all seem to be on my computer... I can view them there but not on my TV. I have unplugged everything (iMac, Apple TV, router) and tried again after hitting sync Apple TV" but get the same message on my TV screen when I try to watch episodes 10 through 17.. "No content found!"
Anyone have any ideas?

Find the files in your iTunes store purchase history, click on the "Report a Problem" link, and send a message to iTunes store support. There could be a problem with the file encoding in relation to the ATV. It's happened to me a few times.

I've been trying to sync my iPod Touch to my computer for a while. Wanted to add new songs to my playlists and now it's saying no content found after every sync. I'm so confused.

Missing Content Found but no buttons

I downloaded and installed as per http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html but I don't have any buttons.

Answered:
1. UNINSTALL ENCORE. Including preferences if you feel like it, although its not necessary.
2. REINSTALL ENCORE
3. Open the file noted in Ann Bens post above and drag each of the folders to REPLACE the content within the enclosing Encore application folder. If you are worried about this, first open one of the existing Library folders that was installed with the application and compare its contents with the contents of the same-named folder from the download. You'll see the same files, but dozens more.
Finally! We now have the missing content WITH buttons in the application.
By the way I know that uninstalling isn't necessary in most cases. The reason I did it was that I'd attempted a few times to replace those folders and still wasn't getting the buttons. What I discovered, and the reason why I decided to uninstall/reinstall, was that there was a greyed out "second set" of folders which was probably from one of the attempts to replace the original ones. So I'm only suggesting the above route if you've experienced similar frustration.

No content Repository Found in OAOR

Hello Gurus,
I am using OAOR transaction for uploading documents in Content Server.
After I upload the documents, In my program when I try to read the corresponding URL of the document, It could retreive it in my development system.
But I am having a strange error in my Test system saying that " No Content Found" and its throwing an exception.
When I tried to debug that method, I founf that the actual error is " No Content Repository Found".
Further in my investigation, I found the following:
In Dev System: When i goto tcode CSADMIN and give the repository abject as "BDS_DB" it is found and i could login in to the server and check the settings.
In Test System: When i goto tcode CSADMIN and give the repository abject as "BDS_DB" it says that there is no repository object found.
And while debugging the method, I found that the respository being used is BDS_DB.
Could you please do tell me where to maintain this Repository Object and how to correct this error as this is working fine in my dev sys and not working in any other system.

As I see that those two configs are already maintained in my test system as it is in DHM but still I am facing the error.
To be more precise, I am facing the issue while using the method,
cl_sdc_bsp_utilities=>phio_get_url_for_get
Its throwing the error, "No Storage Repository".
Is there anything else that I need to maintain for this?

Firefox freezes many times when I'm playing Flash Contents (Youtube)

Why do youtube videos start,freeze & then won't pause,play or anything,except maybe play a few secs.?

Youtube won't let me type in comment box below video, and keeps affecting the video when I hit keys. why and how can I stop it from doing that?

It seems whenever I use YouTube with Firefox, the YouTube video will only ever let me interact with it unless I go full screen then hit escape. if i don't, I can't type in the text box below the video. even stranger, if I go to a new tab and try to enter something into, say, Google, I can still pause and un-pause the you tube video, even in the other tab, just by trying to type in a text box. Why is this happened, and how can I make it stop? it is starting to get very disruptive.

Why do some YouTube videos stop playing after a short time?

Since sometime in October, 2013, I have noticed that more and more YouTube videos stop playing within a minute of starting. Most that stop do so in 15 or 16 seconds. The playing stops because the download stops. I watch this on a network activity monitor I always have running. Not all videos do this, but the problem is becoming more and more frequent. Some videos which played correctly for me in the recent past are now exhibiting this problem.
Other than installing the latest Firefox updates I have NOT changed the software on my machine. I run Linux by the way. I do not think this is a Linux problem because (1) it was all working before and (2) my son who runs both Mac OS X *and* Windows is also seeing the same problem. We both use Firefox as our browser on all our platforms.
I should also note that I am NOT seeing this problem with any of the other video websites I use, only when I go to YouTube. That leads me to believe that the problem is not in Firefox; if it were it should affect videos from all websites.
Additionally the problem occurs whether or not I log into YouTube.
I have not run Firefox in safe mode because all the extensions I use did not affect the download of Videos before, so I don't expect unchanged extensions to suddenly start causing problems.
So, anyone else see this problem? (There was another note which talked about the same problem but it was disabled.)
Also -- pardon my paranoia, but -- I need to ask: Since YouTube is owned by Google and Google has its own browser it wants you to use, Chrome, is it possible that Google is intentionally causing some YouTube videos to fail if it sees that they are being sent to Firefox?
(That is not so outlandish I think. Microsoft WAS at one point caught mangling web pages going to certain web browsers other than IE. And these days Google wants to dominate the Internet just as badly as Microsoft does, so why not pull dirty tricks too?)
If this keeps happening I am going to have to try Google's Chrome to see if it somehow manages to play YouTube videos correctly while Firefox does not. But I really do NOT want to install Chrome because I trust Google about as much as I trust Microsoft, which is to say Not At All.

There have been some issues with Flash 11 in the recent past. This could be a manifestation of that issue. Kindly check this response below to see if this helps you in viewing Flash videos.
Also, if you want to check if this is a flash problem and specifically on youtube, you can try the HTML5 version of Youtube. In this, there are no plugins involved, and the browser natively renders the videos. You can signup for the HTML5 trial by visiting http://youtube.com/html5. Please try that and check if the issue goes away.
Also, in this case, Google might not be doing anything sinister - they generally try to be standards compliant too. You can definitely try installing Google Chrome and test this issue, but we definitely would want you to continue to be a Firefox user :)

How to: Embed YouTube in Ibook/Location of File, Open in Dashboard Widget Code?

I am new to the whole Mac experience and loving it after 25 years locked into the MSGATES paradigm. I have been playing around with Ibook and have made a book. I would like to embed a You Tube file and it seems it is not as simple as slecting an HTML widget and then dropping in the Youtube embed code. Or is it?
Instructions are to create a widget and then drag the widget code into the HTML widget in iBooks. I was able to make it as far as to learn I can make my YouTube video a custom dashboard widget using the "File," "Open in Dashboard" method in Safari.
Once I did this I was able to select the portion of the YouTUBE page and click to make the YouTube widget. Presto, easy as pie. But where is the .wdgt file (and/or other related files to this custom dashboard widget) stored? I was able to find the widget directory in my root but only the preinstalled widgets were there--not the the widget I was able to make with the "File," "Open in Dashboard" method.
Is this the most straightforward way to embed a You Tube file, or is there another way?
It seems this should/can be as easy as just dropping the embed code into the HTML widget in iBooks. perhaps a consideration for the next version of iBooks...

We use a container thats ratio matches the video and insert following format into the folio overlay controls for Web Content: https://www.youtube.com/embed/ jyOFS5lAG68 *PLEASE NOTE: there is a space between the embed/ the video ID. Remove it to see how the video looks when you paste the link.
We found this works on both iOS and Android.

After FlashPlayer 11.04, a website with videos on, like YOUTUBE opens a seperated process and the videos appear in the left top corner and can't be moved.

After updating to a version after FlashPlayer 11.02 when opening a window with flash videos on, next to the process of Firefox in the Task Bar appears a new process with the Flash Player icon and the video window is placed in the top left corner and can't be moved. If there are more then one video in that page when clicking that Flash Player icon you can see a list of all the videos.
Using FlashPlayer 11.02 this problem doesn't happen and I used this solution for some time, but now If I use that version I get a black window with an error message about security reasons, but if I click it it plays without any problem. Although in some websites that need Flash it says it needs at least version 10, but I have 11.02 but doesn't recognize it and demands to be upgraded.
This is all very weird because only happens in my laptop, I have a desktop with the exact same windows and Firefx version and this doesn't happen. I already tried to uninstall Firefox completly and even deleteing all plugins and extensions and the problem remains.
Uninstalling Flash player also solves this, but then I'm asked to update the the Flash player. This problems doesn't happen in Chrome or IExplorer 10:

The sound at youtube goes mute automatically and/or when i'm in a flash game and i press a link the sound also mutes. it only happened when i updated firefox :(

the sound mutes, the bar keeps downloading and "playing"
when i go back or pause+play the sound goes back on
when im playing a game i have to open chrome because the sound mutes everytime i click anything on the (flash) game
im considering moving to chrome, im very disapointed with last firefox update, its full of bugs... ;(

Content Query Web Part Fields Documentation?

Hello community, I have a question about content query web part. I want to use it to display information from a custom large list with more than just the title and description columns that the default allows. For example, I have a list with 50k items in
it and 20 columns. I want to be able to create multiple CQWPs to display select data and select columns for the appropriate users.
I am looking for good accurate documentation to help implement this. I seem to be finding multiple methods that people are using and I am not sure what is best in terms of performance - which is ideally why I want to use the CQWP in the first place (prevent
people from loading the 50k item list over and over).
By default, the content query web part looks great for displaying links to specific documents, but I am hoping that it can be configured to essentially create a mini-list of the large list.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that this is with a custom content type and all custom fields.

Figured this out a few days ago. Found that there really wasn't any documentation that helped me tremendously or explained in a way that I could understand it completely (user error??). There was one video that I found on YouTube that helped considerably.
I took some of what he did, but found that I could accomplish what he did with less than what he showed.
Pretty sure that by now everyone knows how to do this, but anyway, here is what I did:
I just exported a content query web part (after adding a blank one to a page), edited the CommonViewFields and the ItemXslLink (pointing to a copy of the original ItemStyle.xsl). Rename the copy of the file to whatever you want and then SAVE it locally (you
will upload it later to the Web Part Gallery or directly to the page for use when complete).
Create a new template at the bottom of the copy of the ItemStyle.xsl file (similar to all of the other templates that you see throughout the page).
Then make sure that the name that you selected for the name attribute of the template tag is exactly the same as the name that you will put in single quotes in the match attribute. Again you can use the existing templates on the page as a guide.
Copy and paste some of the existing variables to your template (add them between the opening and closing template tags). For instance, I added the 'SafeLinkUrl' variable, which I copied from above, so that I could have it render when I select my template
when I configure the web part on the page.
Then you can create new fields utilizing the
<xsl:value-of>
tags. Utilize the select attribute to get the field name that you want; use the examples in the page to help guide you. You can use plain old HTML to style your content. For example, I created a table to display my results.
The CommonViewFields property from the .webpart file should have the field names that you want to add in them already (because you edited that earlier).
Add the new CQWP that you just modified to the page that you want and select the template name from the drop-down to get the template that you created. You should then see your new fields there too!
This worked for me. If anyone needs clarification on what I wrote, let me know. Anyway, I know that I am a few years too late, but whatever - hopefully this can help someone else.
