No Data in Field Scrap quantity (AMGLG) after Append DataSource 2LIS_04_P_COMP (Component View from PP/PP-PI)

Hi experts,
we enhanced the BI Content standard DataSource 2LIS_04_P_COMP "Component View from PP/PP-PI" with the field AMGLG (Scrap quantity) per maintenance of the relevant extract structure MC04P_0COM via LBWE:
The enhancement of the extract structure worked fine.
Unfortunately the enhanced field is not filled after the Statistical Setup of the LIS Application 04 "Production" (t/code OLI4BW).
RSA3 -> 2LIS_04_P_COMP:
Any ideas or experiences?

Change in Expected Delivery date (EDD) field in the PO after final release

Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby after PO final release is completed & when the PO is released for further processing, no further changes should be possible, except for the expected delivery date (EDD) field in the Delivery schedule tab of the PO Item details. Other than this, no changes should be possible in the PO, neither qty, nor price, not even the simple PO text should be allowed to get changed. In other words no field should be allowed to change.
Ideally, except the EDD field, other all fields should be in grey mode, or atleast changes in any of the PO fields (except EDD) should not be allowed to get saved after the PO is final released.
Please let me know if SAP provides any such facility, whereby you can selectively choose certain fields (like EDD field) on which Release Strategy should not be applied & changes should be allowed in these fields even after PO final release.

and assing the User parameter EFB in user id of the user using SU3 transction

Now, in SU3 trxn ,Give the User Parameter EFB in the user master Parameters Tab and give the parameter value.

Scrap Quantity component in the production order

Dear gurus,
in the material master of a component i insert the scrap % ( view mrp4) = 10 %.
The field is read by planning Mrp and explosion of bom , but when i inseert this component in the production order manually the system don't read this % and the field "scrap quantity in the component detail of the production order is blank.
Are there a setting for uograde this field ( in the production order ) when i insert MANUALLY the component in the production order?
Example:
1) material master of the component > scrap % (view MRP4 ) = 10 %
2) production order created
3) insert this component quantity 100 pc and the system after read the material master insert 110 pc , and upgrade the field automatically 10 % (as material master)?

Hi Danielepistilli,
Well there is a lot of difference is there: see you are creating production order for header material which is FG. If you maintained component scrap in material level it will be dependent on BOM quantity which you maintained for the header material.
For example say component x quantity is 50 in BOM. How it will calculate when you run the MRP.
component scrap % is 5% then:
===> (5/100) * 50 + 50
Formula is: Percentage of scrap quantity x original quantity + original quantity
So ===> 52.5 quantity should be come for component
So, the order quantity for the header material will not take this quantity or scrap but if you see individually in MD04 screen for X material you can find this quantity ok.

"Date Created" or "Date Modified" field for Contacts?

Is there any way to view -- or sort by -- a "Date Created" or "Date Modified" field in Contacts?
Or, at the very least, view a single records Date Created/Modified?
In particular, when exporting the BB's Contacts to an ASCII, I'd love that field to appear.

When I open a search window (command "F") and then press Command "J" or go to "Show View Options" under the "View Menu" it just brings up a window that says: "There are no view options for the "Searching This Mac" window"
I am using OS 10.5.8 on a 1st Generation MacBook Pro. I have successfully changed view options in other folder windows, but can't in the search window. I have just started trying an Application called "Find Any File" (http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/) and it looks like it may provide what I want but is MUCH SLOWER than spotlight.

Date is not getting populated soon after a change in a field which has LOV.

I have a requirement in my form......
I have a two fields, in my form......
One field which has a LOV's list---------------> the name of the field is "PRIORITY" and it has following LOV's
*) LOW *) MEDIUM *) HIGH..
Second field is of date field-----------------> the name of the field is "DUEDATE"....
I needed is that soon after i select anyone of values from the list in "PRIORITY" column for example assume it has "LOW"...
The due date column should automatically populate the date, accordingly that is setted for LOW..
The same is in case of "MEDIUM" and "HIGH"....
How it is possible to populate the date accordingly soon after i picked one of the LOV's from the priority column...
Whether i need to set any dynamic actions for the due date column...or else....if so means......
guide me friends..in stepwise manner......whether to write any query in back end....
i also tried with query it didnt worked.......

Custom field data is lost or not available after any action

I added a custom field on ERP_H component and I made this field available through getter methods. I brought this field in to header view and the field looks ok but after I enter the data in that field, the value enter doesn't get retained. I saw the setter method and the data is set correctly. After any action like enter or save, data is lost or the value is not available, any clue?
below are the details:
1) We have created an append structure to CRMST_ADMINH_ERPIL and activated the getter and setter methods, I tried with AET tool too(ofcourse the Zfield are not available withe field names we need).
2) Data binding is happening in the context create note.

At first I tried to create the fields using AET tool. I was successfully able to add field in the model but when I did different issues came with it.
1) I was still not able to hold my data in custom additional fields added through AET tool. So no big difference between AET addition and append structure.
2) In ERP order system is going to call the ERP system through RFC in which the field name should be same as what you send from CRM. It doesn't have a option of mapping intermediately like BDOC structure or something . It calls the LORD API's and post the data. There are bunch of LORD function modules maintained in SAP.
3) to call the function module I have to maintain the same field names in my ERPAdminH structure. So I have no choice but add append structure manually with SAP ECC field name.
4) to your question regarding set property, the data is properly assigned to BOL object and very nex line t I tried to access it and it is there. So that confirmed that I was able to update the BOL structure.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Fix Date & Qty Field in Schedule Lines Sales Order

If the availability check for an item determines that the item cannot be delivered fully on the requested delivery date, and, as a result one or more schedule lines have to be created for later delivery dates, the customer can decide whether to accept these delivery dates and quantities.
You can record the customer's decision either by setting an indicator in the Fixed date and qty field or by leaving this field blank. The field is displayed both on the schedule line overview screen and on the availability screen.
<b>Customer Accepts the Schedule Line Proposal</b>
If the customer accepts the schedule lines which are proposed by the system, mark the Fixed date and qty field. The system then transfers the requirements for the schedule lines to material requirements planning.
<b>Customer Requires Goods Earlier</b>
If the customer requires the goods earlier than the date that the system can confirm after the availability check, leave the Fixed date and qty field blank. The system then only passes on the requirements for the requested delivery date and does not take the quantities and dates confirmed by the system after the availability check into account. In this case, it is assumed that the requested delivery date can be kept to because, for example, additional production capacity may become free. The system only confirms the sales order once the entire order quantity can be delivered on the requested delivery date. In the subsequent delivery processing, the sales order is only considered to be completed when the entire order quantity has been delivered or when all partial delivery agreements have been fulfilled.
A fixed item is considered to be completed once the entire confirmed quantity (which can be smaller than the originally requested order quantity)has been delivered. Therefore, it does not make sense to fix the confirmed quantity to 0 as the item is considered to be completed from the start.
During rescheduling, the fixed quantities and dates are no longer taken into account.

Data Type field read only in Data source for transaction data (PC_FILE)

How to get calendar icon to show again when entering data in date/time field.

First time posting on this site. I am fairly new to using SQL Server Express. I created a split-database in MS Access 2010 and have successfully migrated over the backend database to SQL Server Express. When I was using the FE forms in
Access, I use to be able to see a calendar icon where I could select the month and day in the date/time field.
I compiled the FE forms to binary format .accde so that I could distribute this to the users and they couldn't change my forms. After migrating the tables to SQL Server express for the BE, I am no longer able to see the calendar icon when I try to enter
in data in the date/time field. Same for the original .accdb file before the binary conversion to .accde.
How do I get the calendar icon back to show on the form when a user is entering in data? I appreciate any assistance I can get. Thank you!

I don't believe the table changed when migrating from Access. I had two tables before the migration, one was for the SwitchBoard Manager and the other table was for the database table. I used the Switchboard to navigate to different menus, such

How to prevent user to enter data in "Date/Time Field"?

Hi folks,
     Back after long time to the forums, where I get answers which are helpful in making me good at utilizing designer.
     I am trying to validate the "Date/Time Field" using JavaScript but couldn't get a proper RegEx expression for various invalid user input formats. If anyone can help me out in finding a proper script that would Great.
     My script grown bigger and bigger to accepting invalid dates, but felt like hardcoding. So, instead I decided why can't we prevent a user to enter data into "Date/Time Field" and use only calendar dropdown. Is there is a way to do this?

Hi Rajesh,
I don't think there is a way of stopping the user from using the keyboard to enter a date. You can use the following script in the change event to stop them typing a date but they will still be able to paste a date in.
if (xfa.event.change.length === 1)
xfa.event.change = "";
This code works because if the date is selected from the calendar dropdown then the date xfa.event.change value will be the whole date and therefore longer than one character.
I couldn't access your sample but if you were to set an display picture for the date field to something other than date{YYYY-MM-DD} then a valid date will have a formattedValue that is different than the rawValue.

Search on Maximum Date Formula Field

Hello All,
I am trying to create a report that will return a PART table linked with an outer join to an ORDERDTL table.
What I would like to do is to return only the Maximum (or last) order date for each part and then have a parameter field that will give me a cutoff date for the last ordered.
For example: Part ABC was ordered on 1/1/08 and 1/1/07. Part XYZ was ordered on 1/1/07 and 1/1/06. When I enter a cutoff date of 2/1/07 it should return part XYZ but NOT part ABC because ABC was ordered after the cutoff date.
I can see the parameter being "only return the parts with a maximumdate NOT > parameterdate". I am having trouble getting the maximum date to be available for query.
How do I run a date parameter field against a Formula field with a maximum date?
Any other pointers?

you need to create a formula MAXIMUM(DATE) i would have it subtotal on a group, i guess your part #.
then in the selection criteria, in the group selection you can use that or use a conditional surpression based upon the parameter

Fixed Scrap Quantity In Production

Im using SAP ECC 6.0 now.
Is there any place I can set a fixed scrap quantity in BOM or PP related?
The situation is like this: While producing Semi-finishegoods A we alway need extra 10 Raw-mateiral B for scrap.
That means 100 A needs 110 B ; 10 A needs 20 B;
How can I configure it so that when I create the procution Order for 10 A, it will put 20 B in the components automatically;
I can only find scrap ratio in percentage.

1) Component Scrap >>>>> Maintained in MRP4 in % & also in BOM General data tab
2) Assembly Scrap >>>>>> Maintained in MRP1 in %
3) Operation Scrap >>>>>>Maintained in BOM item detail General Tab in %

Appleworks v 6.2.9
Have data base with 54 fields. List mode fine, but in browse mode
only first 34 are viewable and therefore available for data entry.
When tab key is punched after data entered in 34th field cursor goes
back to 1st field rather than 35th field. Command and down arrow keys
brings up next record. Is there a keyboard shortcut or any other way
to enter data in fields 34-54 in browse mode? Using list mode for
that is too confusing because 1st field identifies record name and
once past 34th field it is no longer viewable.

I'm assuming the Layout you are referring to is the default "Layout 1" that AppleWorks creates as you define the fields. This layout, or a "Standard" layout created through the New layout menu item in the Layout menu is a simple list of fields (with labels containing the field name) one above the other in a single column.
AppleWorks Database Layouts are restricted to a single page in the page size defined in Page Setup (File menu). With the default US Letter size page, at around 34 fields, the list runs into the bottom of the page, and no fields created after that are automatically inserted into the layout.
You can place more than 34 fields on a page, but you must contribute to the process.
With Layout 1 (or any other layout you wish to modify) showing, go Layout > Layout to put the document into Layout mode. (You can also do this by pressing shift-command-L.)
In Layout mode, select one or more of the fields (and labels) at the bottom of the page and drag them up and to the right into some empty space on the layout. New fields inserted onto the layout will be inserted in the space between the bottom-most field and the bottom of the layout/page, so the object of this exercise is to open up enough space at the bottom of your layout to insert the remaining 20 fields. It may take more tthan a single step to do this.
When you have all 54 fields on the page, rearrange them in the order and in the locations you want.
Note that the default tab order for a latout is from left to right then top to bottom, starting at the top left. If this order is not suitable, you can override it using the Tab Order... menu item in the Layout menu.

I need to set a specific date range for a form set up in LiveCycle ES2. Cannot see where i allows me to do that without a code entered.

You can't set a start and end date for the date/time field, the best you can do is validate the range after the user has selected it.
