Hi Krishna:
Please check if SAP Note 1454260 - "BW/LIS: RMCENEUA dump with TABLE_INVALID_INDEX" is applicable to your system.

  • Extractor for Purchase Prices?

    Hi all,
We would like to use the new extractor for Purchase Prices (Retail) named 0RT_PURCHPRICE_PUORG_ATTR in BI Content 7.03. However, I got issue in activating this data source in BI 7.0. I am wondering if any other BI experts have experiences. Any input is highly appreciated.
Thanks for your help in advance
    Regards,
    Sally

    Hi Vijay,
For all purchasing data you should use Extractors 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_HDR and 2LIS_02_SCL . Table EKKN filed PS_PSP_PNR gives you the WBS element associated with the PO. You have to enhance the data source if the field is not available to you. or alternatively you can build your own custom extractor using purchasing tables EKKO, EKPO, EKKN etc.

  • Datawarehouse model for purchasing

    Hello Experts
I am implementing BI reporting for the Procurement business (Purchasing and Accounts Payables). So on the Purchasing Side, I plan on the following data warehouse model
    1) EDW layer - 1st layer of ODSs with the straight mappings from the extractors - Purchasing header, purchasing item, schedule line, account assignment, requisitions etc.
    2) Data mart layer - 2nd layer of ODS with PO doc no, PO item no and schedule line no as the key which combines data from the header, item and schedule line ODS into one ODS and then I will also look up other acct assignment and requisition fields from the the corresponding EDW layer ODSs in the end routine
    3) Reporting Layer - InfoCubes and Multiproviders designed for reporting requirements.
What do you think? Is this the right way to go about the data model for Purchasing
    Appreciate your response
    Thanks,
    Vivek

  • Sizing for extraction of 2LIS_02_ITM / 2LIS_03_BF (data volume)

    Hello Experts,
can anybody help me with this issue:
I am extracting data for the datasources 2lis_02_itm and 2lis_03_bf. The bw scenario is a pilot project and this is the first transactional data ever loaded into the bw system. At the moment i am facing the problem, that our database seems to be too small (50 GB). I need to know exactly how much data will be extracted from these two datasources.
The main problem is, that i can not figure out the exact amount of datasets for both extractors. My bw system dumped after i loaded around 60 million datasets only for the datasource 2lis_02_itm (2years). That means that there is almost 50 GB purchase order data in the system. Of course figured out hoch much data is in ekpo and ekko, but there is much more data extracted. I found out, that the tables cdpos and cdhdr are also relevant, because they keep all changes on purchase orders. I think the extractor delievers all these changes. How can i find out how big the tables cdpos and cdhdr are (i think they are strucutres)?
For the extractor 2lis_03_bf i did not find tables which keep all changes.
To sum up: How can i find out how much data will be extracted to bw for the datasources 2lis_02_itm and 2lis_03_bf to bw. I need to know that in GB size.
Can you provide a way to figure that out?
    Best regards
    Janos Bugler

    Hi,
We can't measure the size manually, we have tool QUICK SIZER in service.sap.com there you give your inputs and then it will suggest the Hardware sizing.

  • Initialize loads for all Purchasing extractors w/o affecting delta for SCL

    Hi Gurus,
I have to initialize and start the loads for all the Purchasing extractors except the Scheduled Line Item extractor which is already running. I have to make sure I am not disturbing the daily delta for the Scheduled Line Item(SCL) extractor while initializing and running the other loads for Purchasing. How do I get this done.
Any help is deeply apprecited and will be rewarded with points. This is pretty urgent
    Thanks

    Hi John,
You can go ahead with the following approach:
I am assuming that the type of delta that u use here is queued delta. This can be viewed in transaction LBWE (Under purchasing (02)).
When you are dealing with LO cockpit extractions, make sure the extraction queue (LBWQ) and delta queue (RSA7) show up as either 0 records or dont list up in the specific transactions.
For example, if there are entries in LBWQ against MCEX02, this means the scheduling extractor still has some data in the extraction queue which needs to be moved to delta queue (RSA7) and then pushed to BW.
Make sure when transports go to production, there are no entries for delta either in LBWQ (check entry MCEX02) or RSA7 (check entry 2LIS_02_SCL). If not do repeat the following process until both of them are empty. Only then release the transports.
    1. In LBWE, click on job control for 02 (Purchasing). Click on Start date. And select immediate and save. Come back to job control screen and schedule job. This should move data from extraction queue (LBWQ) to delta queue (RSA7).
    2. Run the delta infopackage for scheduling item on the BW side. This would clear the delta queue.
Do the above process continuously until you see MCEX02 does not show up in LBWQ and no entries in RSA7 for the specific scheduling extractor.
Then you would be on a safer side.
A better approach here would also be to get to know a no-posting zone, where you migght get less postings.
    With Best Regards,
    Hariharan. M

I have already changed the Industry Sector to "Retail" and to "CP Industry" and after step 3 again but the field BWVORG still comming empty.
    Thanks,
    Paulo

    Hi Paulo,
Please check whether the check box of BW is selected or not in BF11. If not checked please select the checkbox for 'BW' and try again.
After selecting the check box, you need to delete and load the setup tables to see the changes in RSA3.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Currently have ipod touch 4 and am getting an iphone 5c. Want to transfer data to new phone. Currently all our family devices on one apple ID for purchases and it is the same for icloud. I want to create a new one for icloud for this iphone. What do I do?

Currently have ipod touch 4 and am getting iphone 5c this weekend. Currently our family has several apple devices and they have the same apple ID for itunes and it is the same ID that we use for icloud. I want to set up a separate icloud ID so that it is only on my new device. I still want to keep the same apple ID for purchases. Can I do this and better yet when do I do this...before the purchase, after the purchase and backing up of data. Where do I go to create a new one?

    Figured it out. Thanks.

  • Goods-Receipt Block for Purchase Order depending on Goods-Receipt Date

    Hi,
I want to set up the system so it can block the Goods-Receipt for Purchase Order respectively Scheduling Agreement if the Goods Receipt is about to take place 30 days or more before the Desired Delivery Date.
For Example: If I have a Purchase Order with the desired delivery date 30.09.2008. I want to set up the system so, that it bans (forbids) the Goods Receipt before the 01.09.2008.
If possible I would want to do that without additional programming. Is it possible to set up the system using only customising settings?
    Thanks for your help
    Bogdan

    Hello Marius-Bodgan,
as this question is marked answered I assume you have received an solution for your requirement. Could you please share the solution with me by posting it here? I have the same requirement and did not find any possibility to do this in customizing.

  • Data Migration for Open Purchase Order

    Hi, All,
Is there anyone know how to Count the volume for Open Purchase Order. What's the normal strategy for the Data Migration and Cut-over stage?
My client want to know how many Open Purchase Order in the legacy system and then determine manual or automatic data migration. If manual, how to do? If automatic, how to do? Because all materials and vendors, plants are different number. How to track? How to find out to match between new and old?
    Thank you very much

    JC,
Sounds a bit early to be making decisions about the realization phase.  It doesn't sound like you have finished the Blueprinting phase yet, much less the testing phase.
Anyhow, in my experience I typically use LSMW (Legacy system migration workbench) to load MM master data (material masters), Inventory (WIP, RM, FG, etc) Purchasing Master data (Vendors, Purchase Info Records, Source Lists, Quota Arrangements), and Purchasing transactional documents (POs, PurReqs, Scheduling Agreements, etc).  Depending on the complexity and volume of data, it  may be necessary to write custom programs to load the data.  You will find this out during your requirements gathering.
It is uncommon but possible to load all of these data manually.  I have never run across a client that wants to pay a consultant's hourly rate to sit at a terminal to peck away loading master data, so if the client intends to have his own users enter the data manually, the project manager should make provision that there will be qualified TRAINED client employees available for this data entry.  I did help with a portion of a conversion once manually; of Sales Credits, but there were only about 30 SD docs to load.   I did this the evening before go-live day, while I was waiting for some of my LSMW projects to complete in the background.
A good opportunity to 'practice' your data loads is right after you have completed your development and customization, and you have gotten the approval from the client to proceed from the pilot build to the full test environment.  Once you have moved your workbench and customization into the client's test environment, but before integration testing, you can mass load all, or a substantial portion of your conversion data into the qual system.  You can treat it like a dry run for go-live, and fine tune your processes, as well as your LSMW projects.
Yes, it is good practice to generate comparisons between legacy and SAP even if the client doesn't ask for it. For Purchase orders on the SAP side, you could use any of the standard SAP Purchasing reports, such as ME2W, ME2M, ME2C, ME2L, ME2N.  If these reports do not meet the requirements of the client, you could write a query to display the loaded data, or have an ABAPer write a custom report.
You didn't ask, but you should also do comparisons of ALL loaded data - including master data.
It sounds like you are implying that the client wants YOU to extract the legacy data.  For an SAP consultant, this is not very realistic (unless the legacy system is another SAP system).  Most of us do not understand the workings of the myriad legacy systems.  The client is usually expected to produce one or more legacy system technical experts for you to liase with.  You normally negotiate with the technical expert about every facet of of the data migration.  In addition, you will liase with business users, who will help you and the implementation team to logically validate that the final solution (turnkey SAP production system, fully loaded with data) will meet the client's business needs.
Finally, you mentioned how do you track the mapping of master data between legacy and SAP.  There are many ways to do this.  I normally try to get the legacy person do the conversion on his end, eg, when he gives you the load file, you would like to have already translated the master data and inserted the SAP relevant values into the file.  If this is not possible, I usually use MS Access databases to maintain a master map, and I perform the mapping on a PC.  If your data package is small, you can probably get by using MS Excel or similar.
    Good Luck,
    DB49
