No internet through wifi on iPhone 4s

Please help.
Just bought myself a new iPhone 4s - everything works like a charm, except the wifi. Just to clarify, im using a Airport Extreme as my router, and have 2 iPads, a Macbook Pro, a iMac and several other devices running on that router, with full webaccess.
Tried just about everything, from these forum-pages, and whatever google found for me - resetting routers, the iPhone, only network-settings, renaming the wireless network, removing security - the whole lot. Nothing seems to work.
Problem is, that when choosing a wireless network to connect to, nothing happens. The iPhone finds the network i wanna use, and i get to enter the passcode - but from thereon nothing. After a while, i get the "wireless connection"-icon in the top border, but when trying to access a webpage, i get a "Safari can't open the page, due to connection to server-issues" (freely translated).
Through the Airport-tool, I can see that the phone connects to the router, but says no connection to internet from the router - I know that isnt true, since all other devices works fine. In the iMacs Airport-tool, I can even se that the router and iPhone have a connection.
The iPhone doesnt even receive any IP-adress etc. for the connection.

My Subnetmask is 255.255.255.0 and the IP starts with 192. When I tap the blue arrow next to my network name in the Settings/Wi-Fi, the settings are DHCP and not BootP or Static.

SMS. Deggie, had them check that. After a lengthy discussion with Senior Tech advisor, it appears it is iMessage/Face Time server (they are the same) issue, which will strong arm those into purchasing Data if they use iMessage over multiple devices, as the server registers the phone number associated with apple ID. Not impressed. I put what I've learned here in a simliar thread

The last was equally useless and a little painful!

Try:
- Resetting the iPOd. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Pwer off and then back on yur router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reet Network Settings

Disable your AirPort and enable in a second. Or check, maybe you need to type in correct digits in; Settings/Network/Advanced/Configure...

I've been having horrible wifi connectivity problems with my mid-2012 MacBook Air for the last several weeks. I just realized today that the problems started around the time that I upgraded to 10.9.5 on September 17th.
It's reached the point where I keep Airport Utility up in a corner of my screen so I can see whether I have internet or not before hitting Send or Post.
After reading Linc Davis' post from September 27th, above, I ran the Wireless Diagnostics when I lost internet. Internet access came back while the diagnostics were running. I pressed Continue and lost connection while the second was running. Based on Airport Utility, I do not have connectivity more than I do.
Note that Airport Utility usually shows that it can see the router, but there is no Internet access. Other times it shows that it can not see the router.
Wireless Diagnostics suggested that I restart the router (a new Airport Extreme that I installed in August.) Restarted the router did not solve anything.
All other devices, wired and wireless, are working fine. The affected device is the only one running 10.9.5 wirelessly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Internet through wifi while connected to different network by ethernet cable

Is there a way for my iMac (2012, OS10.8) to take internet from wifi connection (tethered to iPhone 4S) while it is connected by cable to a router that does not have any internet connection?
The reason for this strange situation is that the telephone wires coming into the house was accidental pulled off, so I cant get internet through the telephone wire. I have to rely on 3G through my phone. I just bought Sonos Play 3 and Bridge, and they wont work unless their firmwares are updated. In order to do this, the iMac has to be connected to the Sonos (either by wifi or ethernet cable) and the internet at the same time. Since I am using wifi to be tethered through my iPhone to the internet, I have to use ethernet cable to connect to the Sonos gear. Whenever the ethernet cable is connected to the iMac, the iMac wont receive internet date through the wifi/tethered connection.
Any ideas?

Thanks. I therefore have a problem as I cannot connect my ipad to the Apple TV. When trying to connect via Airplay my other apple tv appears (that is connected only via WiFi and that connects OK) but the Apple tv connected via the Ethernet does not show. I have looked at all the settings on both apple TV's and the only difference I can see is one is connected via WiFi and the other through Ethernet cable. Any ideas on what I need to check out?

I can watch and download only little part of movie, then i need reload it and marked another part of movie to watch.

Were you on wifi that was blocking youtube?
If not, try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If a reset doesn't work, I think you'll need to restore.

Photos not transferring through wifi from iPhone to iCloud or Photos

I'm partly through a very slow migration to Photos, quite possibly related to being on a very slow and throttled ISP connection. Apparently not much I can do about that … I suspect much of the problem is related to having too many large videos in my slimmed-down Aperture library …
My issue here is that not a single photo has migrated automatically from my iPhone to either iCloud Photos (as seen through the online portal) or to Photos on my iMac.

If you are saying that you are waiting for photos that you have taken on your phone to transfer to the photos application on your Mac using the iCloud photo library whilst you are loading photos from the photos application on your Mac to the iCloud photo library, Then yes I believe you will have to wait.

well, first check whether you're connected to the blackberry network...
how can I check whether myself connected to blackberry?
Check within the network bars on the phone whether it is showing you 3G, EDGE or GPRS in capital letters...!!
If not give a hard-reset to the phone (remove the battery put it back once)...
And if it shows in caps letters then try requesting for services again... how? on the phone desktop > within the search bar > type "Host Routing Table".... search results shows you as "options"... select that & select host routing table... afterwards, hit the blackberry menu button > select register...

I have problem connecting my Blackberry 9320 to the internet via the wifi. I have tried all settings but still can't connect. I connect to the WIFI but when I try to connect to the net its says can't connect to the internet if the problems continues contact your internet service provider. I had the Blackberry 8520, I could connect to the net through the WIFI easily but with this I really don't know where the problem could be. I really need your help

If it says "Contact your service provider", then i don't think it's a problem with BB's end. You need to contact your carrier.

The ability for users to restrict an app's ability to access the Internet is a decision left to the app's developer. Presumably, if an app requires an Internet connection to function that choice would not be a logical one to implement. On the other hand if the app developer decides an Internet connection is optional, the choice is easily implemented in Settings.
In the case of free games such as Subway Surfers, nearly all of them rely upon in-app purchases to generate the revenue required for their development and support. In such cases the developer will not be interested in limiting that revenue source. Users with no money to spend do not comprise a successful business plan.

How to share proxy internet through wifi?

I am new to this community.
This is my first question I am posting here.
I am using internet in college using thunderbolt ethernet.
It is a proxy connection network.
proxy address: 172.13.10.101:3128
When I do internet sharing from thunderbolt ethernet to wifi, sometimes it is not turning into hotspot but sometimes it turns into hotspot.
But I can't able to access internet in my mobile device(samsung galaxy young duos) even though it is connected with the hotspot.
Do i need to use any third party softwares incase if it is not possible?
Please help me out on solving this issue.

There are various tunneling schemes in use, and two of the most common are PPTP and L2TP.
Your particular corporate firewall probably has one or both.
Microsoft Windows has VPN capabilities, either as an integrated or as add-on capability. Different organizations can prefer different solutions here, too. Check with [Microsoft|http://www.microsoft.com] for details and options for that operating system platform (I just don't follow Microsoft Windows security tools anymore) and with your IT staff.
Mac OS X client contains VPN client capabilities. For both PPTP and L2TP.
As for which you need or want here, that's as much a question of the capabilities of the firewall here and with which of these works best with the Windows XP box; with what actually works in this case. It is common for a corporate network to have an external firewall, and an IT staff can have specific preferences here. And some firewalls can have odd setups or incompatibilities. Check with whomever is providing your IT support, as a start.
If you are providing IT support here, you're going to have to provide details of the corporate network set-up here including the model identification of the firewall device. And please also do some research on Microsoft Windows XP for this question and on VPNs in general and on your specific corporate firewall, as a start; you own some sensitive data, and poking holes through a firewall is a bad idea. And a server security breach (and I've cleaned up a few of these) is a hassle.
