No iPhones in Saudi Arabia ..!

*I am one of the iphone fans and I want to make a complaint out the provider here in my country.*
*In Saudi Arabia, we are facing an issue with the iphone's distributer which is MOBILY! At the beginning, we were so happy that Mobily announced the date which the Iphone will be realesed in Saudi Arabia 07/NOV/09. However, all the devices were sold out from the first day !! Since then, lots of iphone fans are waiting for the next pack up .*
*In fact, we are losing our patience after almost 2 months of waiting!*
*So, I have made this Complaint hoping that Apple will stop the mess over here.*
*I am looking to your response and take it seriosly .*

Nowhere here at all - Apple do not read these forums
You can email here http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html but as the issue is a supplier Apple are not going to speak to you - it has nothing to do with them. They have the phones, if your supplier does not buy them then that is not the fault of Apple.

It will be locked to mobily telecom, and according to Apple's list of supported carriers and their features (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937) they do not offer unlocking. Since only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it, you have bought a useless phone.

Sorry, you can't. FaceTime has been permanently removed from your phone. There is no way to add it back.

My father owns an iPhone 4S, we live in Saudi Arabia, he had FaceTime for a whole time, and then after updating to iOS 6, FaceTime has disappeared, I've heard that the Saudi government have removed it from the country, but I still have it on my iPod touch (4th gen) with iOS 6, so is there any way to get it back? and if we go to another country like Egypt, it will appear again? and how?
Facetime is banned by law in KSA. If you purchased the phone in another country in the Middle East, it may be removed when taking it into a region where it is banned.

IPhone users in Saudi Arabia .. Suffer problems with Apple's agent here ٍSTC .. From several aspects:
1 - evasion of appliance repair.
2 - invoke reasons of good is in appliance repair.
3 - slow service.
Where I went to fix my iPhone, and Avadona not reform the presence of fluids, even though I held inside ... , Has not been subjected to any liquids.
On the other hand, even if it was wrong of me with false accusations, rejected the reform of the amount of money paid out of the personal.
Apple's famous upscale in the world, but we have in Saudi Arabia, the lack of respect and a distortion of high-end service, I tried the Apple stores in more than one country, and did not face such problems.

If you have an issue with the repair services provided by STC, I would suggest you escalate the matter within STC by asking to talk with a service manager or supervisor.

I have a problem with iPhone is that I can replace it at points of sale in the U.S. because I bought from Saudi Arabia because the problem I think in the hard ware I do resoftware more than 3 times did not fix.
Network also always missing.

Regards.iPhone warranty is not international. You will have to return your
iPhone to Saudi Arabia for repair/replacement. Either take it back
yourself or send to friend/relative for them to take to Apple. Apple
will not accept international shipments for repair nor will Apple
ship repaired/replaced iPhones out of the country where the repair
was done. -

Apple doesn't have to do anything, other than comply with the laws & policies of that country.
Here's your choice; either Apple complies with the local laws & policies, and is able to sell iPhones in Suadi Arabia, or they refuse to comply, and then NO iPhones will be sold in Saudi Arabia (except grey market).
Don't like those choices? Here's a third one. Petition to your government to change their policies. -

Are you referring to LTE? If so, you don't, as there is no carrier support for such, with the iPhone, in Saudi Arabia.

I live in Saudi Arabia and intend to buy an iPhone 5 (unlocked version) from U.K. I want to know, would it be possible to claim warranty from the local network operator which is the official Apple iPhone seller i.e. Mobily. Would they repair/replace my iPhone 5 ?
You would need to return to U.K. for warranty service. The iPhone warranty is not international.

If the phone is locked to a carrier then you will need the carrier to unlock it And only the carrier can do that.

I have purchased iPhone 4 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when i was on business tour. Now i am in India and using Airtel SIM. but Facetime is not working with any carrier in India.

Thanks a lotSorry, but you purchased an iPhone from a country that has requested FaceTime be removed from all iPhones sold in that country. Apple has no choice but to comply with these government requests, hence FaceTime has been removed from your phone and there is no way to activate it, regardless of where the the phone is used. If you want FaceTime, you need to sell your phone & purchase an iPhone in India.
