No Mirroring in Ipad 2? I have IPAD2 and Apple Tv 4.3. I can airplay videos/music from Ipad2 to my HDTV via ATV, but I cant mirror it. When I select airplay to switch from Ipad2 to Apple TV, Mirroring does not show as an option. What am I missing?

I have an Iphone5s and use Verizon. Frequently when I am on a call, it sounds as if there is an incoming call but it does not show up in call waiting or in missed calls. When I went to check on line, the fix involved a screen that I did not even have on my phone. Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution? I can't seem to get tech support at Verizon. Boo.

Thanks for the additional details! Let's get this issue resolved. What software version is the device on? Please reset the Network Settings on the device. Go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings. Please Note: Audio alerts may also indicate delivery of incoming text messages or emails. The tone will vary based on the type of information being delivered to the device. Tones may also indicate low battery charge or inadequate signal strength. Keep me posted with results.

It seems after my latest upgrade that my phone has stopped importing new photos and vids when I link up to my computer. It always would ask me if I wanted to tag new photos and then would import to computer. Now it does not and when I am in Itunes the options under my device does not include photos so i can't even import them manually. Any ideas on what is up?
iTunes doesn't import photos from your device, in only syncs photos from your computer to your device.
You may need to adjust your autoplay settings as outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1500 (except to enable digital camera notification, not disable it) in order to restore automatic prompts to import photos. -

Drop Down In List From Lookup Does Not show all items in mobile view
I have list called "incident".
I have a list called "locations"
The "incident" list looks up a value from the "location" list as a dropdown.
The location list contains 25 building names.
When I try to fill out the "incident" list in mobile view
the "location" drop down only shows 16 items. I checked the "locations" mobile view limit and set it to 99 to make sure all would show up.
The desktop view for the "incident" list shows all 25 buildings from the "locations" list.
Any advice on how to get those extra 7 locations to show up?
JefStill don't have an answer. I'm now looking to use a radio button or something to use as a work-around. If I use a lookup and tell it to allow multiple selections (shows as checkbox) it does not show all values in the mobile view.
If I input each item and choose choice, it only shows up as dropdown. I need radio buttons. If I choose lookup and allow multiple selections, it does not show all the options.
I need some help on this.

I have the current version of itunes on my pc and my wife had downloaded a few audio books to her i phone under the same account. Her phone was damaged and was replaced. I had backed up the phone and restored the new one but her audio books were not put on the new phone. When i look in my itunes library on my pc the book does not show up. In the purchase history I can find when i purchased it and the order number but there is no option to download it. Then under the "purchased" area it gives the options of music movies tv shows apps and books (not audio books) but audio books are no where to be found. If i can get any help figuring it out i would appreciate it.

If, while searching through your past purchases, items are unavailable to download and show a "Purchased" button, they are still on your computer. It may be best to search your iTunes library by clicking Music, then use the search bar at the top right.
If you are completely sure the items are no longer in your library, try signing out of the iTunes Store, and then back in.

I have a old excel file that does not show hiding cell boxes on my Mac.
I have a old excel file that has some hiding info. in some of the cell boxes. I can not see them on my Mac computers. When I click on the cells to see the hidden info. it does not show up.
Are you using Mac OSX version of Excel or the Windows version of Excel? Regardless being specific to Excel, it would be best to ask in the Microsoft Office forums.

I have an I phone 4s and I have many contacts in my phone. However, when my phone rings or I receive a message. The phone does not show the name of the caller. It only shows the phone number that is calling. I am sure this is a setting problem, but I have checked every setting I can think of. Any suggestions??
If you are a Verizon user try this:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again and see if it's fixed. -
Apple TV3 doesn't start automatically when I select airplay from my iMac (Yosemite) and Ipad 3( iOS 8.1.3) i have to manually turn it on then it works fine after that! what is wrong with which setting.
You need to re install OSX. If you have the dmg file downloaded via torrentz this is how you can create a bootable external HD or Flash drive (8 GB+)

Im trying to use my apple TV to see a movie from my iphone. Since i select the airplay icon on my phone, i can only hear the voice of the movie on my screen but i cant see the movie, can anybody help me pls? Tks

If you don't see the AirPlay icon in the Control Center:
1. Turn off router, Apple TV and iPad
2. Turn on router and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
3. Turn on Apple TV and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
4. Turn on iPad (wait 30 seconds) and test AirPlay -
My iPad 4 does not show up on my TV screen when in AirPlay mirroring mode using WiFi. The iPad displays AirPlay set to TV with the Mirroring On (green).
My iPad IOS software is 8.2 and my Apple TV software is at 7.1. The TV displays the Apple Menu. The “Settings” does however displays the General menu allowing me to see:

Signal Strength shows 5 circles.
It does not display the iPad screen but when I use the BT Sport App I can hear the sound but there is no video. I have searched the internet for a solution to no avail. Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

When I select a "compose email" from my GoDaddy email web page, it opens up another whole new Foxfire window. I can't seem to have it open into the existing Foxfire window but just another tab instead.
Firefox diverts most new windows to tabs, but there is an exception when a website uses a script to specify the window's dimensions or removes some toolbars. To remove the exception, you can make a change under the covers. This could be awkward for genuine dialog windows that don't make sense to view in a separate tab, but if you find it more annoying than useful, you can easily switch back.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(3) Confirm that the '''browser.link.open_newwindow''' preference is set to its default value of 3 (divert new windows to a tab instead), or right-click > Reset to get that value
(4) Double-click the '''browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction''' preference and change the value from 2 to 0 (that's a zero) and click OK

-1 = apply the setting under (A) to external links (<u>default</u>)
3 = open external links in a <u>new tab</u> in the last active window

If you log into his account and download some of his past purchases on your iPad then you risk tying your iPad to his account for 90 days : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID

If you have his content in your computer's iTunes library then you could sync it from there instead of risking the 90 days association on your iPad. If you don't then you could copy it from his computer and then sync it to your iPad e.g. copy his music to a flash drive and then add it to your library via File > Add To Library
