No new editor for Text elements in Smart forms

Hello all,
I've a problem on SAP demo system (version 7.2). When I add new Text element on window then on tab General Attributes I'm only able to see ComboBoxes for "Text Type", "Start", button pencil (for going into fullscreen old editor) and button for checking object. The last thing is that I can also see here label "Use the fullscreen text editor". When I've checked on other systems I saw that instead of that label there is new editor here, and clicking on pencil button leads to new fullscreen editor.
Does anybody know where I can enforce smartforms builder to use new editor?

Is the text edit portion showing as disabled?
FYI i don't have MS Office installed on my frontend & in my case the text edit is disabled. Is this the case with you as well

hi experts,
I am changing a standard smartform. The new requirment is I have to display a new text element for which the value come from a table depending on the input.
I worte a fm to get the value and i am catching the export param of the fm into a variable which I am catching into a text element. The FM is returning the correct value but I am not able to display it on the smartfomr out put. Please help me.

Check your text element's output options:
Select your text element... Go to Output Options... in the frame at last "Output Structure" you can see the line and columns. Check if this lines and columns are being used by anyother text element.

How to activate New Editor for XSLT Transformations?

Hello Everyone!
I am currentlyworking on some Simple Transformations (Txn STRANS). As I am very happy with the New Frontend Editor, I would like to use the new Editor for editing Simple Transformations, like I do, when editing usual ABAP Code.
Where can I activate the New Editor fpr XSLT Programs? I have already set the Flag to use the new editor when editing ABAP Code, but this Flag unfortunately has to influence on the editor used for XSLT programs... ;-(

I went to the Premiere Elements 13 tryout page at the Adobe web site and downloaded the tryout. I used the Firefox browser (latest version).
These are the details according to what was presented to me today
1. In choice of download, I selected Multiple LanguagesIWindows 64 bitI 1.67 GB. I do not have a Windows 7 or 8 32 bit computer.
In your case, you would expect that you used used Multiple LanguagesIWindows 1.50 GB (which would have been the 32 bit version
in agreement with your Windows 7 or 8 32 bit computer.
2. When I pressed the Download button, there appeared
Akamai Download Manager
Browse For Folder dialog - (where I designated Desktop as my save location for the saved file/folders from the download)
3. The first file to download was the .7z which is named Premiereelements 13_LS26_win64.7z (in my case, in yours it should be ...._win32.7x)
File 1 of 2.
The second file to download was the .exe which is named PremiereElements 13_LS26_win64.exe (in my case, in yours it should be..._win32.exe)
4. When "3" is finished, automatically the Install Now comes up with a dialog regarding the .exe with an Open button. Click on the Open button.
5. Next there is a Folder Location dialog which I had set
C:\Uses\Owner\Desktop\Adobe Premiere Elements 13
I clicked next in this Folder Location dialog.
6. Next there was an Adobe Premiee Elements 13 dialog "Preparing Files" with mention of "Extracting Files".
When the extraction process was complete, there was the automatic appearance of the Files Are Ready with a check mark next to
"Launch Adobe Premiere Elements 13. There I clicked the Finished button.
7. Next up was the Adobe Installer dialog and the "Initializing Installer" message.
8. Next came the Welcome dialog with choices of Install or Try. I selected Try.
If you have a purchased serial number already, I assume that you can click install and use your purchased serial number.
9. Next came the sign In Required dialog where I click the Sign In button.
10. Next the Adobe Software License Agreement to which I clicked Accept.
11. Next the Options dialog -
Adobe Premiere Elements 13 4.1 GB
Language English (North America)
Location C:\Program Files\Adobe
to all of 11 I clicked Install.
and said Yes to User Account Control pop up.
12. Automatic Install from there on.
When I looked at my desktop I found saved there
a. the .exe file
b. the .7x file
c. an Adobe Premiere Elements 13 Folder
any of which I believe I could have installed from as I have described to you previously.
If you cannot get the above to work, then you can try going through the process of getting the Adobe Premiere Elements 13 tryout
from
Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 Direct Download Links, Premiere too | ProDesignTools
There you will end up with the .exe and .7z downloads. After you download and save these two to your desktop, then you begin the
process by double clicking the exe and following the on screen instructions.
Please review the above and determine how much of it you have been through before and the choices that you have made along the way.

Text issue in Smart form

Hi All,
I have an Custom smart form, and under the pages and windows i have 2 Pages First Page and Next page.
The First Page next page is set as Next Page and the second page next page is also set as Next page.
Now when the Smart form is displayed in the PDF Format then only the first page Header comes in the proper way but the 2nd , 3rd and so on pages depending upon the data the Headers are all coming as an Junk text (Not some other language but the overlapping of characters).
The Header texts are all in the Table in the header field and also some texts are dynamically populated by the OTR and some are static.
I am not sure why is this happening can any one give me some inputs?

Exactly thats what i am using now but want to know whether is it possible by using TEXT instead of creating Graphics node.
In graphics we can use both .bmp as well as .tif files but not text.So what is the solution of using TEXT Ids in Smart forms.

Call transaction I18N
go to I18N Customizing -> MS Word as Editor.Choose the Help-Button and follow the instructions.
If transaction I18N is not available in your system yet (see SAP Note 848036), you can also enable this feature via program RSCPINST.
Call transaction SE38, enter program RSCPINST and press F8. On the next screen,select Goto -> Set MS Word as Editor.

Hi there, could You tell me which table keeps application texts?
I've got such problem, that I'd like to determine text language by code, so for example:
IF ( condition1 ) .
text-001 will be taken in language A .
ELSEIF ( condition 2 ) .
text-002 will be taken in language B .
ENDIF .
I tried
IF ( condition1 ) .
langu = 'A' .
ELSEIF ( condition 2 ) .
langu = 'B' .
ENDIF .
but it has no effect, because when sy-langu in one line is set to new value ... in the next line in debuger it takes the old value
So maybe I could ... SELECT texts directly from database with language key, according to some code-condition ... is it make any sense?
DATA: langu LIKE sy-langu .
IF ( condition1 ) .
langu = 'A' .
ELSEIF ( condition 2 ) .
langu = 'B' .
ENDIF .
SELECT text FROM text_table WHERE language = langu .

How to call new window and text element without changing print program

I have requirement like this . i have a standard print prog and custom form. i want add 2 to 3 extra windows in the form and i have to print some data. but how can v do this with out changing the print program. i know that to pick new fields through subroutines. but how can v call new windows and new text elements with out changing the print program.
usually in the print program we write as follows.
write_form
window = 'HEADER'
textelemtn = 'HEADER'
can we accomplish this one also through subroutines or any other way is there.
can any one pls suggest this.

write your own codes in it.
assign this program in the place of standard print program.

PMS: Creation of new tabs for reference elements of ENHANCE BADis

Dear Experts,
I am on a PMS EHP5 implementation (for all practical purposes, it's an EHP4 implementation as we are not using the pre-defined template) and have the below problem.
I have the ENHANCE_FIX and ENHANCE_FREE BADIs included at the VA level (as the requirement is to create immediate child objects for the template through these BADIs). I have a reference element (VB) defined for these BADIs.
Example template (L1 = Level 1, L2 = Level 2, L3 = Level 3):
L1 - VA
---- L2 - VB1
--------- L3 VC1
--------- L3 VC2
---- L2 - VB2
---- L2 - VB3
In the above example template, the ENHANCE* BADIs will add VBs (example: VB4 and VB5) at the L2 level (appearing in the document below VB2 and VB3).
The requirement is to have separate tabs for each VB at the L2 level (so I will have one tab for VA and 5 tabs for VB from the above example).
I am unable to specify creation of new tabs for the reference element VB when I carry out my tabs and process configuration.
I have not been able to find any information on this aspect either. Would appreciate any help that can come my way.

I still feel that the product should leave that option to the designer of the solution. There are a lot of solutions which can get chaotic. If designed appropriately, I guess this chaos can be controlled.
At the very least, I am sure that I have not left anything out in configuration. I will raise this with SAP over a CSS.

Language translation for text elements.

Hey ABAP Gurus,
I am having a problem, with translation of text elements in korean language. I have translated the TEs in korean, but they dont appear in ko, they appear in Portuguese...
I have tried using se63, and se80 for the translation...
Am I missing anything here? Please advise!

Feature request: Heading Tags and Paragraph Tags for Text element

Sugestion: Would like to see Reflow be able to format text element with heading tags like <h1> and paragraph tag <p>.

i am trying to create a new permanent group for texting in the future. surely an iphone 4 will create and save a specific group of certain people to send texts too later on.. please tell me how to create and SAVE new group?? its really important i figure this out and i appreciate your time and help. thank you

The only way to create groups for messaging is by sending a message to everyone in the group, and as long as you never erase the messages from the chaat it will always appear in your conversations in the messages app. Unfortuneatly there is no way to organize contacts into groups in any iOS as of now. They will add many new group chat features in iOS8, but you will not be able to upgrade to it when it does come out because you are using an iPhone 4.
