No service demands in RPT

In the CRM 7.0 GUI, I am going to resource planning and searching for service demands .
I logged on to resourse planning tool (RPT). t code CRM_DWP.
I created the service orders zsrvo.
1. Set the item object type YSRP to BP Service Item (BUS2000140).
2. Flagged the transaction type  as relevant for resource planning.
3. Set the transaction items in an in-house repair order and a service order to "Released".
why i could not see service demands to assign the resources? .
and also if i click on my service team. it says no service team find. y????.
I appreciate your suggestion
Thanks
savan

Hi Sawan,
Is the Qualification and Resource Planning is activated in the system? I have not worked with it but have seen that proper Qualifications and Resources are mapped accordingly. Also, see the time frame of the Resource Planning Tool. The time frame must match the released time frame of the order items. Hope this will work.
Thanks,
Samantak.

  • Find Service Demands

In the CRM 7.0 WebGUI, I am going to resource planning and searching for service demands and it finds none under timeframe "This Month" or "Next Month" when I have done the following:
    1. Set the item object type YSRP to BP Service Item (BUS2000140).
    2. Flagged the transaction type YTSP as relevant for resource planning.

  • CRM Service: Demand replication in R/3

    Hi,
This is a case of a firm engaged in carrying out after market service for various OEM products through 3rd party agents (Channel Partners). Replacement Parts required for Service by these Channel Partners are supplied by the parent company. I have a few queries w.r.t. replication between CRM and R/3.
Service Order is created based on end customer request. To perform the requested service, replacement components are required. Identified components are thus specified in 'Spare Parts' tab page. Inventory is maintained in SAP R/3 in a Storage Location assigned to each Channel Partner.
    (a) In what form does 'demand for components' (identified under Spare Parts) get replicated in the respective Storage Location in R/3 so that if there is any shortfall in availability, Planning can trigger procurement proposals?
    (b) If there is an 'Alternate component' available in place of the requested one, how can we issue it? Where exactly in CRM do we maintain 'Alternate Parts' at a component level for a Product (similar to BOM maintenance in R/3)? Or,
    (c) How does BOM in R/3 get replicated in CRM Relationship along with Alternate Part grouping?
    (d) Does Service Confirmation (created as a follow-up document to Service Order) post goods issue automatically in the background?
    Thanks.
    Raj

    Hi Bobby,
It is very much possible to upload CRM service orders to SAP R/3 or SAP ECC via standard CRM middleware.
Please refer to the below SAP help document for complete list of configuration activities for service order upload.

  • Not enough system-resources to finish required-service

    Hi,
    I have developed a backup-program, using java.util.zip package.
When I applie this program to zip a file greather than 100Mo, an OutOfMemoryError occurs.
So, I try to call the JVM with Xms and Xmx parameters set to 512Mo:
    java -Xms512M -Xmx512M ClassName
Then, my program crash on the following exception:
java.io.IOException: Ressources systme insuffisantes pour terminer le service demand
(Translation: "Not enough system-resources to perform the required-service")
My workstation is equiped of 512Mo-RAM for an Athlon 1000MHz under Win2KPro 5.00.2195 and I using Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C) - Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode)
    The memory-usage after the Exception-evenment is 112Mo,
    the maximum-memory-usage is 216Mo,
    the virtual-memory-usage is 532Mo,
Is it an another way than increasing physical-memory of my workstation to contain my JVM ?
    Thanks beforehand for your replies.

You create (write) an archive I suppose.
I wrote a little web-server in Java which serves the requests on the basis of the zip archives listed in its configuration. That is, it lets us browse inside several zip archives with a browsers without having to unpack them. I use this thing on my PC against a couple of complete Java SDK documentation packages etc. The total size is above 150MB (megabytes, or, si vous prfrez, megaoctets). The thing runs without memory options without problems for a week (I usually shut the box down for the weekend).
The bottom line: with reading the archives I encounter no problems with the java zip package.

  • Is having the original receipt or invoice obligatory to have Apple authorised service?

    Hello!
Apple Authorised technical service in Krasnoyarsk, Russia refuses to accept my MacBook Air 11-inch guarantee claim arguing I must have original invoice or receipt to to have guarantee service.
I dont have the original receipt, but apple.com clearly prooves that my guarantee is valid until 29 May 2013!!
Is the Apple Guarantee for MacBook is WorldWide? What should I do to make them accept my claim?

Official  Apple stores ir Russia? No.
    Official service and resellers only.
But I bought my MacBook in US. So a man from official Apple service (This shop is listed on apple.com as official repair service) demands my receipt from Apple Store. But I bought my device on Amazon, not in Apple Store.
Is my device covered by worldwide guarantee?

  • How to do pivoting on part of an SQL output row in 10g

    Hi,
    I'm using Oracle 10.1.0.5.0.
I would like to know what the general decode is for pivoting in 10g. I need to display PAGE_DISPLAY_NAME, ITEM_DISPLAY_NAME, ITEM_TYPE_DISPLAY_NAME essentially once and then display ATTRIBUTE_DISPLAY_NAME and ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE as a separate column for each:
So my query starts me with the following output.

    and i.active = 1
    and i.visible = 1
    and i.is_current_version = 1
    and upper(it.DISPLAY_NAME) like '%RIKR%'
    and substr(attr.DISPLAY_NAME,1,5) <> '-----'
    order by i.DISPLAY_NAME, attr.DISPLAY_NAME;

    Hi,
There are a few errors in the INSERT statements, but it looks like the ones that work provide a good enough sample.
    In your sample data,
    attribute_display_name = 'Benefit' only when item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%', and
    attribute_display_name = 'Billing & Collections' only when item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%'
and so on, for the other values. In other words, just by looking at attribute_display_name , once could predict whether item_type_display_name was LIKE '%RIKR%' or '%OMKR%'.
If that's alwsays the case, then you can say:
    SELECT    page_display_name
    ,       item_display_name
    ,       item_type_display_name
    ,       MAX (DECODE ( attribute_display_name
                          , 'Benefit'                         , item_attribute_value
                          , 'Billing & Collections'                    , item_attribute_value
               )          AS p1
    ,       MAX (DECODE ( attribute_display_name
                           , 'Business Function: Accounting'               , item_attribute_value
                    , 'Change Description'                    , item_attribute_value
               )           AS p2
    ,       MAX (DECODE ( attribute_display_name
                          , 'Business Function: Consulting Services'     , item_attribute_value
                    , 'Deal Type: Counrty Federal'                 , item_attribute_value
               )           AS p3
    ,       MAX (DECODE ( attribute_display_name
, 'Deal Type: Counrty International Order'     , item_attribute_value
               )           AS p4
    FROM       taxonomy
    GROUP BY  page_display_name
    ,       item_display_name
    ,       item_type_display_name
    ORDER BY  page_display_name
    ,       item_display_name
    ,       item_type_display_name
    ;This produces generically-named columns, 'p1', 'p2', ...:
                               ITEM_
    PAGE_      ITEM_           TYPE_
    DISPLAY_   DISPLAY_        DISPLAY_
    NAME       NAME            NAME                 P1  P2  P3  P4
    Archive    Rpt-AR          RIKR Content Record      1   0
    Content    Rpt-Booking     RIKR Content Record      1   0
    Documents  Calc-Discount   OMKR Document        0       0   0
Documents  Calc-Early      OMKR Document        0       0   0I shortened item_display_name to make the output more readable.
If you add a WHERE clause like
WHERE   item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%'then, of course, you would only get the first two rows of output from the result set above, but you would get all the same columns, including the p4 column that will necessarily be NULL.
If my earlier assumption was wrong (for example, if attribute_display_name can 'Benefit' even when item_type_display_name is NOT LIKE '%RIKR%', but, when that happens, you want to ignore it), then change the pivot columns like this:
    ,       MAX ( CASE
                         WHEN  (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%'
                           AND  attribute_display_name = 'Benefit'
                   OR        (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%'
                           AND  attribute_display_name = 'Billing & Collections'
                   THEN  item_attribute_value
              END
               )          AS p1
    ,       MAX ( CASE
                         WHEN  (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%'
AND  attribute_display_name = 'Business Function: Accounting'
                   OR        (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%'
                           AND  attribute_display_name = 'Change Description'
                   THEN  item_attribute_value
              END
               )          AS p2
    ,       MAX ( CASE
                         WHEN  (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%'
AND  attribute_display_name = 'Business Function: Consulting Services'
                   OR        (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%'
AND  attribute_display_name = 'Deal Type: Counrty Federal'
                   THEN  item_attribute_value
              END
               )          AS p3
    ,       MAX ( CASE
                         WHEN  (     item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%'
AND  attribute_display_name = 'Deal Type: Counrty International Order'
                   THEN  item_attribute_value
              END
)          AS p4For the sample data given, this produces the same output as above.
All this assumes that the conditions
    item_type_display_name LIKE '%RIKR%' and
item_type_display_name LIKE '%OMKR%' are mutualyy exclusive; that is, you never have item_type_display like 'RIKR Content Record/OMKR Document'.
If you do have values like that, then you'll need separate columns for each of the possible values of attribute_display_name. Given your sample data, that means 7 pivoted columns. Depending on your WHERE clause and your data, some of those columns might by NULL for all rows. As you suggested, you coul;d use the anlaytic ROW_NUMBER function to number the rows that actually occurred in the query. You would still have 7 pivoted columns, but the ones that were not always NULL would appear on the left, where they were easier to read.
The number of columns, and their aliases, must be hard-coded into the query. If you want something that has column aliases like BENEFIT instead of P1, or only has 4 piovted columns when you only need 4, then you have to use dynamic SQL.
You can fake column headings by doing a separate query, which includes some of the same conditions as the main query, figures out what the pivoted columns will be, and displays appropriate headings. I've done this when producing csv files, where the heading only had to appear once, at the very beginning. Getting such a heading to appear after, say, every 50 rows of output is much more complicated.
You can fake the number of columns by using string aggregation to put all the pivoted data into one humongeous VARCHAR2 column, concatenating spaces so that it looks like 3, or 4, or however many columns.

  • Error 512 when calling PEOpenPrintJob

    Post Author: gnilsen
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hello,
I'm using a product called Dexterity which is for the Microsoft Dynamics platform.  We use crpe32.dll to run our crystal reports from our application.  First of all, when Crystal 10 was installed we used crpe32.dll with a date of 06/13/2004 and my reports print just fine.  When I upgrade to Crystal XI, initial install, I get a crpe32.dll with a date of 12/07/2004 and my reports don't print.  I get the error 512 when calling PEOpenPrintJob.  So I figured I would move up to SP4 for Crystal XI and which provided crpe32.dll 05/27/2007 1:12 AM. I tried to run the reports with that .dll and I run into the same error.  From my research I see that error 512 is PE_ERR_ENGINENOTOPEN or Print Engine Not Opened.
Here is where my report is located and this is what I pass into PEOpenPrintJob: "C:\MBS\GP10\WennSoft\Crystal Reports\Service WIP Summary.rpt"
I have tried a few different approaches trying to get this to work and here is some of my troubleshooting ending up with no luck.  I took my Crystal 10 report and saved it as a Crystal XI report and that didn't work.  I tried to use the old crpe32.dll from Crystal 10 and the program is smart enough to grab the latest crpe32.dll from the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin folder.  The report does have sub reports in it, but my code starts with trying to get the main report Print Job first and it doesn't even get to the code for the sub reports.  (I don't know if that helps but I trying to give as much info as possible.)
    1) Is there anything I need to do different in Crystal XI?
    2) Do I need to call something before PEOpenPrintJob?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nayani
Please go to the technical WF log, select the mail step in error and check the container element ADDRESSSTRING - it should have valid values. If there is no value or at least one line, that is the cause of your error.....this means you will have to correct the method/process/code/ where you are fetching the email addresses.
    regards,
    Modak

  • WS-Security: "Could not validate the signature..."

    Hello,
We get the following fault when calling a web service demanding signature:
    <soapenv:Fault xmlns:wsse="....">
    <faultcode>wsse:InvalidSecurity</faultcode>
<faultstring>Could not validate encryption against any of the supported token types</faultstring>
    </soapenv:Fault>
Client signs the request using X509V1 certificate, but in the SOAP request, type of BinarySecurityToken claims "X509V3":
    <wsse:BinarySecurityToken ValueType="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-x509-token-profile-1.0#X509v3 ...>
Is this possible the reason that the message can't get validated?
We should have use V3 certificate, but seem JDK's keytool can't generate V3 self-signed certificate and we don't want to bother request a V3 certificate from any CA.
Seem openSSL can do that. I will try but I can't install any thhing on the company PC. Hard to believe? :-)

X509V1 is not a valid value for "Valuetype". So I guess this should not be the problem.

  • Travel Time Calculation in CRM 2007 Resource Planning Application

    Dear all
we are using CRM 2007 RPA to schedule Service Technicians to Service Demands and also want to use the "Schedule" button to automatically have the system create Service Arrangements. We do use WFM Core and not any external tools.
The problem we are having is related to calculating travel time: the system automatically would line-up service arrangement after service arrangement without any time in between. We wonder how we could include travel times or other expected "in-between" times (e.g. customer specific delays) into the scheduling functionality.
Further, if we have the system propose resources for a demand, there is a column "distance" which says "n/a" in all cases - we wonder how we could (without using 3rd party tools), populate this field - and on what basis.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards
    Christian

    Hi,
How did you solve this issue?
    Regards.

  • Atlanta-area VZW customers get a call from 404-909-8543?

I live in the Atlanta area, and got a call today from 404-909-8543. It was a recording that asked for me by name, but I didn't recognize the number so I pressed 2 to say I wasn't available. The recording gave the number 800-754-0961 for me to call back. I didn't like the odds of that either, and doing some Googling I found that both of these numbers are probably associated with scammers pretending to be Verizon financial services demanding payment of an overdue bill.
So, has anyone else gotten these calls, or does anyone have any more information on them?

Oops. Despite the scammy-looking call procedure, I checked and in fact I had neglected to pay last month's bill, which got lost in the mail or the shuffle or somewhere. I paid it online, and don't expect further calls. My bad.

  • Wake on Demand: Not working for some services, others OK

I haven't been able to figure this problem out... Wake on Demand for a previous generation Mac mini running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 works for things like a CrashPlan automated backup but does not work for things like remote SSH login or Screen Sharing. In all cases, the services are being originated on a latest generation iMac running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.2).
While it's not an earth-shattering event to get off my backside and walk over to the Mac mini across the house to press its Shift key to waken the thing, it gets rather old to have to keep doing so, especially since CrashPlan automated backups are taking place while the Mac mini is otherwise asleep (the sleep indicator is slowly pulsing).
I've been through the Apple tech notes regarding Wake on Demand for Snow Leopard 10.6 and have ensured that AirPort and its network are at the top-most position in their respective lists. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I can do. Wake on Network is enabled in the Snow Leopard Mac mini's network System Preferences and there doesn't seem to be any on/off option in the AirPort Extreme base station (just recently updated to 7.6 firmware).
    Any thoughts... hints... suggestions?
One final note: this Mac mini is new as of July 2011; just days before the latest generation of Mac mini came out. It came pre-installed with Snow Leopard and, as soon as the users of this mini find software replacements for the old PPC style applicaitons they're used to using, will be upgraded to Lion. However, I feel a bit unsettled in making the move to Lion if I can't get a Snow Leopard feature to work properly. There's no telling if the Lion upgrade will actually fix this behavior or make it worse.
    Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can wake on network with a closed lid. Try keeping the lid open and putting the machine to sleep. Does it work?

  • Error while calling siebel crm on demand web service

    Hi.
Has anyone encounter this problem before while trying to invoke the Siebel crm on demand web services? Please help.
Also, do I have to set up the SSL Trust Key and trust file to include the Siebel crm SSL cert?

Hi, yes I only use jax-ws to generate client artifacts for On Demand. I can imagine for first time user you have really big problems to generate the client code... The reason for this is in most cases the size of the wsdl files.
    What you can do is.
    1. Think about what you really need of the selected wsdl. eg. if it is account do you need all related objects like PlanAccount etc?
    2. If you know what you need start to delete the not needed definitions from the wsdl and try the generation of client afterwards.
    Best Regards
