No Values available or not authorized to display.I have a profit center is a selection parameter in the report.I am not able to select anything in the selection.
I am getting the message" No Values available or not authorized to display".
Please help on this.

Hi,
check the cube content for the profit centers. If you found values there run RSRT in debug mode for your query and set break-points at the authorization check. There you can see if your query aborts because of authorization error. you can also check st22 or sm21 for short dumps and system log entries.

You may not have authorisation for S&D cubes, so i feel it is an authorisation issue, kindly take one of your colleagues id to check this, if it is working for them, then i think you have to add those to roles to your ID..
Still there is a option to override this, but you have debug it once, and change the authorisation code(sy-subrc) value, and please dont try this if you are not familiar at ABAP, and this is not adviceable if it is an authorisation issue as there will be logs recorded for all the things you are doing and oreover each time when u click on DTP you have debug it to change the authorisation
code..
Note: If it is QA or Dev system you can try debugging it, but if it is production system then i think u have to use an alternate ID...

Hi,
I am trying to configure an ABAP web dynpro application in SE80. But when the browser opens all I am getting is:
"You are not authorized to display a configuration."
I did run a system trace but there is no info in regards of failed authorization checks; same with SU53. Anybody knows what authorization objects are being checked here?

When a WD application is created in ur configuration settings , a node for it is automatically created in the ICF tree.
the system performs a check against the authorization object when an ICF node is created.

You are not authorized to display the case component, when using copy

I copied the standard UDM_SPS_CASE_RECORD and created a Z version with no changes, in addition also copied the standard Case Record model with no changes. I have entered my new case record model into my new element and tied both the to case type. When trying to create a case get a message "You are not authorized to display the case component"
SU53 looks good, and BASIS did a Trace and did not see anything.
When I change the configuration back to use the standard no issues and case is created. Anybody know what the issue might be?

when you get this error on screen type /NSU53 , hit Enter and get a new screenshot
if you see the message ""The last authorization check was successful" that means nothing to do with Basis team, it could be a custom message - talk to abaper ;
but if you see some objects there (Authorization check failed) - please pass to security or basis guys
ask / try another user which hasn'rt such error and comare the roles you and he/she has - try to find out the difference

I'm running Windows 7. Installed "Power Manager" via System Update 4.0 last night (10/23/2009). Getting this error when hitting FN+F3.
You are not authorized to display the panel for selecting a power plan.
Furthermore, I'm unable to see any of the default power schemes. Finally, I created two new power schemes, neither of them display for selection.
Any one else experiencing this issue?!?!?

Hmm... That seems odd. Does the userid that you're using have admin rights to the machine?

The error in SRM7.0-You are not authorized to display the auction

I work in SRM 7.0 . The purchaser created one Auction and published it .When the bidder logon the system and click the "Live Auction ", the system displayed"You are not authorized to display the auction".I guess that there is something wrong with the LAC. Or orthers?

Hello Alex,
The link you have mentioned opens a Java applet which is called as live auction cockpit.
The views will be diff depending upon the role purchaser/bidder.
But for this the Java server has to be properly integrated with the SRM server.
basis has to correctly define the authorisations of the integrating user.
Please check this with the help of LAC installation guide

Error - 403 - Value mapping replication - not authorized

I tried to implement the value mapping replication in PI 7.1as per the below article.

As given in the article i have configured everything in Integration Directory.
I have tried the same thing but getting the following error in "call adapter step" after sending the XML from soap client.

I am able to find 2 error messages in SXMB_MONI.
i think this is an issue with user details in XI channels.
Please let me know what is the issue,user we have to give in XI receiver channel andwhat ROLE one should have to test the scenario.

Can you try to use the RFC/ communication user in the communication channel and try?
Please check the authentication type also, check if you will require non-sap type or sap type.

Hi Experts,
I want to display the hierarchy in my BEx Analyzer for which i tried to activate the hierarchy for the same and got the below error.
"Default values "Drilldown characteristic" not permitted for display hierarchy"
Also I have used a standard variable for this infoobject and it is used for user input in the selection screen of the report.
Eventhough we proceed further with this message, in the Report display, it is not showing the hierarchy in the display.
Please respond ASAP.

I don't know why you are getting this error. But we can create hierarchy either by using herarchy name or else by creating hierarchy variable......In characteristics for which you are creating hierarchy, in display tab of properties give DISPLAY AS KEY, SORT CHARACTERISTICS -- AS IN THE QUERY and RESULT ROWS --- ALWAYS SUPPRESS....
In HIERARCHY TAB --- Give Hierarchy name select use hierarchy setting check boxand select always show radio buttons......
Do in this way and it may work......

actually; I am facing a problem; one user is getting error message "You are not authorized to call up line item display" when he is trying to view the payment usage of document no in FB03 transaction code.
I have checked and found that user is already having display access for the company code which he is putting under company code field.
Also as per the SU53 screen shot; it is showing
Authorization check failed for S_CTS_ADMI
Field - CTS_ADMFCT
for - TABL
I have not run the trace yet..
Kindly advice on what could be the problem and solution for that...

Can I filter by value which is not displayed in grid columns?

In excel it is possible to filter by value of measure which is not displayed in the report.
How can I possibly do this in Performance Point Grid? (in filter by value there I only see the measures in columns).

I found it is possible to filter by value by changing the MDX in the query tab.
(I filtered by certain existing value in design, then switched to Query and changed to the measure which is not displayed). I shows up correctly.
The problem is, once I change the query, I get an error when tring to connect a filter on a grid column:
"consumer parameter no-longer exists in the consumer webpart"
The grid looks "frozen"- cannot drill up / down etc.
How can I filter by value which is not displayed without loosing the ability to attach a filter to the grid?

I had exact same problem and I have found a way to get round out!!!! Easy!
So the reason it doesn't allow it to play is for security to stop piracy etc.
Plug in the cable and VGA and aux cable and get everything set up so you are looking at the home screen.
1) select Videos
2) selected the film you want to watch
3) click the little play button
4) it will then come up with the message saying it can't play protected films blah blah blah
5) WITHOUT clicking ok double tap the home button to bring up the multitasking bar and swipe left to reveal the control panel
6) hold fast forward for a second or two and the movie with continue to play!
Stay in the multi tasking bar with the control panel, The message will stay there but don't worry. Kick back and enjoy your iPad movie on the big screen:)

Check Availability does not display free busy information

I have setup Calendar Server and Communications Express (w/ Directory Server, Access Manager, Delegated Administrator, Web Server) to do an evalutation of the Sun Calendar. I started with the 2005Q4 version as it came with our Solaris 10 installation.
Then, when I was unable to view free/busy information via the Check Availability view, I thought that maybe trying out the upgraded version 6.3 would help. I have the exact same problem with 6.3 as I did with 2005Q4. All the other basic capabilities seem to be working fine.
I should note that when I setup 2005Q4, the free/busy information showed up in Calendar Express, but not Communications Express.
With 6.3, the logs indicate that Calendar Server is sending the free/busy information, and that Communications Express is receiving the free/busy information from Calendar Server, yet all the time slots were showing that the resources I was checking were available, when I know full well that they have busy time slots (which show up on their respective calendars), and the Communications Express logs received those free/busy times from calendar server. I set the time range of the check availability request wide enough to ensure that I should see the busy time slots.
I am completely baffled by this as this is such a major feature (at least for us)--I wouldn't think that this would be a problem across two major releases without anyone else noticing. What could I be doing wrong?
I am using the calmaster account to do this, and I added a couple of resources using delegated administrator. Events show up on the resource calendars as expected. Communications Express receives the correct free/busy information from Calendar Server, but does not display it.

Everything is in one domain right now (I am just trying to get a simple case working).
When I look at the resource calendar itself (logged is as the owner, which is calmaster), I can see everything about all events on the reosurce calendar.
The default acl for resource calendars is the same one that comes by default with Calendar Server (which grants all users permissions to see free/busy info).
When I edit the resource calendar in Communications Express, "Anyone can view my availability", "Anyone can read my calendar", and "Anyone can invite me to an event" are all enabled, yet the availability does not show busy in the time slots where the resource has scheduled events on its calendar--everything remains as available (white).
The events for which the resource is scheduled are public events.
Any other ideas?

If you'd asked a question in your original post it might have solicited more pertinent responses. As it is, you were stating a fact. No one knew whether you considered that fact a problem, or what you were hoping to gain by doing so.
The simple addition of 'can anyone help me fix this so I can run Terminal' would have counted for a lot.
As it is, your solution is likely to require the Terminal, so you're going to need to fix that one way or another. The simplest would be to create a new admin account (System Preferences -> Users & Groups) then log in using that account.
Then try and launch the terminal. If that works the problem is specific to your original account and can likely be fixed via some command-line tweaking. I'd start with:
dscl . read /Users/<username>
(where <username> is the short name of the account having a problem). This will show the records in the directory data for your account, one of which will be UserShell. Chances are that value is invalid, or missing, and can be corrected via:
sudo dscl . -change /Users/<username> UserShell <currentValue> /bin/bash
(where <currentValue) is the current setting for UserShell) which will change the user's shell to /bin/bash (the default).
Of course, you might already know this and already tried, but since you didn't say so in your original post it's worth checking.

If you mean removung the Red Xs than:
In order to remove the red Xs from the report (for example when dividing a number by zero), you can go to transaction RSCUSTV4 and change the definition from X to ' ' (Space). It might require creating a request but that's it.
