No wifi connection on my 4s. Did a Reset however this didn't do the job as well

ffor the last 24 hours my iPhone does not able to connect to available wifi networks.. I don't see any optional networks . I did a Reset however this didn't do the job as well.. Any sugestions ?

I understand that your iPhone is not able to see any available Wi-Fi networks or connect to any Wi-Fi networks. I understand that you have already reset your iPhone and the issue continues. I would recommend continuing your troubleshooting by working through the steps in the attached article that may not have yet been completed, such as resetting your network settings.

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset it via your computer's iTunes and restore/resync your content to it

It depends upon how the other machines are connecting to your MBA:
If the the other machines are also using wi-fi, they can connect directly to the wireless access point (router) without going through your MBA
If the other machines are connecting to the MBA using ethernet you can share your wi-fi connection to them

I just encountered this problem for the first time and stumbled upon this forum to find a solution. I played around with it a bit and it seems that if you slide your finger from the bottom up, you will come upon that new screen that will allow you to do various functions with your phone (put it in airport mode, lock, etc.), you can select your Airport from this screen and play your music wirelessly from your phone; at least this was my experience. Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings
Then rejoin the wifi.
If this does not work try this
Settings->WI-FI->The wifi name->Forget this Network
Then rejoin the wifi.
If this does not work try this
press the home button and lock until you see the apple logo.

Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.

If your phone is disabled because you entered the wrong passcode too many times, you will have to restore it to remove the passcode (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414). If you have iOS 7, you will have to force it into recovery mode in order to restore it (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808).

Canvio AeroMobile not listed in wifi connections

I bought a Canvio AeroMobile (128GB) recently, and followed the instructions to connect wirelessly to my iphone 5s. All seemed to be going well until I was prompted to install the latest firmware, which I did.
Since the update, the device is no longer listed as a wifi connection, so I can't actually connect to it wirelessly, although it does work if I connect it via USB to a PC - but that kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless device.
I've tried pushing the reset button (for at least 5 seconds), turned it off/on, even reinstalled the mobile app, but still the same.
What it actually looks like is that the drive is trying to reset itself but failing to complete the process - when not connected to USB and I turn it on, the SD card light blinks once, then the wifi light turns on (and stays on) then the battery light turns on for a few seconds, then starts flashing fairly quickly (quicker than when it's charging) - and that's all it does, the blue wifi light stays on and the battery light keeps flashing. As I write this, the same lights have been going for about 3 hours . I can't see it listed as a wifi connection on any device (not just my iphone). If I press the reset button, nothing happens.
I unable to follow the instructions for doing a full factory reset as part of that process is to link to it wirelessly, which I obviously cannot do.
is this a known issue? I can't find anything about it on the internet.

You will need to enable wifi syncing before the phone will show in iTunes without being connected by USB. You can find this setting under the heading 'Options' under the 'Summary' tab in iTunes, when the phone is connected via USB.

Updated to 10.9.5, now I'm losing my wifi connection.

My iMac(7,1) has been running 10.9.4 since early July with nary a problem. A few days ago I finally updated to 10.9.5 and since then I keep losing my wifi connection to my router. One of three things will happen:
1. My wifi connection is intact, but I can't reach any network resource — not the internet, not my home server, not even the router itself. I have to turn off Airport, then turn it back on again. Once it's back on again *sometimes* it will automatically reconnect to the router, other times I have to manually reconnect it to the router.
2. My wifi connection will simply drop. Where I would normally have full signal strength shown in the menu bar, I would suddenly show no signal at all — and not be connected to the router. I have to manually re-select my router to reestablish the connection and get online again.
3. Same as #2, except that after manually re-selecting the router I'm dumped into #1 where I can't reach any network resource.
During any/all of this, none of my other network devices — printers, video game consoles, iOS devices, other computers — are having any problems.
I've tried repairing permissions, cleaning out caches, zapping PRAM, reinstalling the 10.9.5 combo update, repairing the keychain, removing my router password from the keychain, "forgetting" my router connection, resetting the Mac's network connections and re-adding them, switching from DHCP to static, and making a sacrifice to Cthulu. Nothing helps. I *have* noticed that when I boot my Mac from a 10.9.4 clone that I made about a week ago, I have NO wifi problems whatsoever. Whatever problem I'm having is a direct result of 10.9.5.
Any ideas?

I had a lot of connection drops and hangs after 10.9.5. It seems there's some compatibilty problem with the Router / Airport / 10.9.5. Did everything, on my computer and airport with no luck, but what worked for me was to reset the router to factory settings and start from 0.
Some 3rd party routers have compatibity issuses with Mac, if the above doesn't work I will recommend to go back to 10.9.4 if you if a Time Machine, and wait a bit for Yosemite launch in a few days. Becasue I don't think there will be a new 10.9 update available soon.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
