Nokia 3600 slide Alarm Tone

I really like the default 'standard' alarm tone, and would like to use it as a ringtone (the tone that is used when you select "Standard" instead of "Radio" or "Open Gallery" or "Tone Downloads" in the alarm menu). I cannot find that melody in the tones library as being available as a ringtone. It seemed to me that it would be stored *somewhere* in the phone's memory, but I can't find it anywhere in the libraries.

I have just brought a nokia 3600 slide .. I have selected the plum theme and selected the slide animation on ..but unfortuantely i do not get any slide sound .. i only get the animation when i open and close the phone ..do i have to use another theme .. can i use any sound for the opening and closing of the slide phone .. where do i get slide sounds from or animations .. plz help its driving me round the wall

as pointed out there is some themes avalable that do give a tone but these are specially built themes a had one myself on the 5610/6500 slide i got them from zedge maybe your phone is not equipped for the theme in question
the slide animation is just a picture that comes up when you open and close the slide

Nokia 3600 slide --- how to manually change networ...

I just purchased a Nokia 3600 slide and want to set the phone so I can manually select the network. I have a SIM card through a company called eKit and while I am in France, I need to be able to manually select the network with the best coverage. The phone automatically selects a network with little to no service in this area. I used to own a razor and there was a function where you could set the network manually. Can anyone help me locate this function on the Nokia?

Nokia 3600 Slide Playlists + Firmware Updates

When I update my Nokia 3600 Slide with new firmware, my playlists no longer work, or show up in the media player. The gallery doesn't support viewing them. I don't want to have to rebuild my 70 song playlist again (I have over 500 songs on my phone). Is there a way to get the old playlist working?

probably not, should have done a backup of the playlist to your computer, as firmware updates clear all data on the phone.

i have my nokia 3600 slide software update,after the update my phone restart, and ask to type the date and time. after that, the phone hangs.i reinstall the battery and do that step again.so i run again the software update after it fails the software update,the phone doesn't turn on..plz help me!

With the 3600 if you have already tried removing the battery and leaving it out for a few minutes, there isn't anything else you can try yourself. It is time to send it to the Nokia Care Point.

Have you tried using other operator's sim in the phone?
have you tried using the same sim in other phone?
If both answer is yes & your sim is working in another phone then you need to contact you nearest authorized Nokia Care Center.

Yes it's possible but you cannot download it or install it yourself.
To get Swedish on your phone you need to visit a nokia care point and they can add it for you, for a small fee.

Have you done the basic workaround?
Do have backup of your phone data & PC registries then
Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Connectivity cable driver, PC Connectivity solution, Nokia flashing cable driver(if any on your PC), Run PC Suite cleaner. Install latest Nokia PC Suite from nokia.com/pcsuite, reboot your pc. Once pc started, connect your phone with USB in different ports of your PC and check

Nokia 3600 slide ringtones too quiet

I had a Nokia 6100 until a week ago when I upgraded to 3600 slide (which is awsome, btw). However, ringtones and alerts on my new phone are irritably quiet. Consequently, I miss calls.
I want the loud rintones from my old 6100 back. How can I get them on the 3600 slide?

Please do these couple of steps - It might improve things slightly:
Select Menu > Settings > Profiles > Personalise — to personalize the profile.
or
Select Menu > Settings > Tones > Ringing volume> then set it to the maximum value. Then just save it.
If that doesn't solve the problem, it might the phone really behaves like that. Some Nokia phone really does have a quiet ringers - like the Nokia 5310 (No offense meant!)

Nokia 3110 Classic Alarm tone too low

I brought a Nokia 3110 Classic yesterday and found the alarm tone too low. Tried chaging the Tones, but all of them are too low. Not enough to wake up. can anyone suggest how to overcome this problem.

get a loud tone there is no volume level for this if your havin trouble i will post a good loud one most nokias now have incremental volume ie get louder the longer they ring but i have good loud one

Download the nokia 6233 "standard" alarm tone?

ive just recently upgraded to a nokia 6210 navigator and i dont really like the alarm tones on it. i kind of got used to my nokia 6233s annoying "standard" alarm tone and got used to associating it with waking up!!
is there anywhere i can find this tone, or anyway to get it off my phone to transfer onto my new nokia 6210. i cant find it anywhere saved on the phone, its only an option in the alarm menu.

Receiving MMS on Nokia 3600 Slide

Hi,
Recently purchased a Nokia3600 Slide and since installing my sim card have not been abe to retrieve MMS photos. Was able to on my previous phone, and have not changed any settings with my phone provider / SIM. Is there something I need to enable in the phone set up?

Nokia 3600 Slide ringing volume low

Whenever i choose the ringing tone from my list with mp3's and i get the 'preview' of the song, the volume is great, is loud so i can hear it (the phone has a speaker on the back). And also i can hear the mp3 loud when i play it with my media player.
But when someone calls me, the volume is lower than what i heart during the preview (the ringing tone is set to max), it also starts sort of ascending even if the ascending tone option is not activated. (it starts by using his regular (don't know where it is) speaker, then moves on that big speaker from the back that i was telling about).
I realise that this might be just the way the phone works but i thought maybe i can somehow make the ringing tone as loud as when i play files with my media player.
I honestly can't hear the phone when i'm in a louder area or when i'm sleeping. Any ideas?

Most recent Nokia phones will automatically be in "ascending mode" if you choose the very highest volume (meaning that the ring will begin quiet and increase to maximum).
If you are not hearing your tone well enough choose the second highest volume setting so that it starts at the set volume instead of working up to it? Also, the choice of tone is also important - if you are often in noisy places or carry your phone in a pocket or bag, then you may need to ignore personal favourites like the tune you first danced to wit your partner and just go for something noticably loud from the first note.
