Nokia 808 camera lens not working - help

Hi, my Nokia 808 camera shutter is not opening or closing. It is stuck in a half opened state. M is there anything I can do, before sending in for repairs, to try and reset the shutter? I can't take any photos as they end up over exposed! Thanks

If it's mechanical shutter has failed you have no choice other than to return your 808 to Nokia Care facility for repair!

Nokia 808 gallery button not working whilst in cam...

Hi all
Had my 808 for a week, and I have been delighted with it, in fact I had no issues with it until an hour ago!
I was taking some pics of my kids when the screnen when black, it would still take photos but I cannot see anything on screen. This is not great but a restart sorted it
But since this incident when I am in camera and I click on the gallery in bottom right to see my latest photo, nothing happens, this is really annoying. I have to go into the gallery to view photos. The transition still works and the photo thumbnail in the camera UI works, but button is useless
I have restarted phone a few times
Any ideas guys?!

nope... had never heard of that feature, let alone use it......in my case, i beleive it was because of a video file that somehow remained always open, and i figured it was overloading the processor somehow, like it happens in windows sometimes, so i removed the video and restarted the phone and voila, problemo solved...'
i just have to mention that the pureview takes photos with amazing bokeh effects... kudos to nokia again for the excellent camera......screw the belle criticisers... for they just didn't experience the pureview for want of a couple million apps that they won't use anyways....

Hi . i just bought my nokia e7 just 45 days only . when i on the camera , device completely freeze there is no more process , i have to press the switch off button for few sec to shut, device is working well , but only when i switch on the camera it;s becae freeze. even i have done soft format and also hard formate , even i updated my device through online for Symbian anna . and also i have tested my camera with additional third party camera applications but at the time also i got negative result. even i restored my camera setting . .. ISight camera/iChat not working HELP! Also, how can I get PhotoBooth?

A friend and I are tring to use iChatAV but it just does not seem to work.. I can see my picture and the mike on the camera works on my machine but neither of us can see or hear each other.
Text chat works fine.
We are both running wireless routers but our MAC are hard wired to the machines NIC so wireless is not a factor here. I am using a Linksys WRT54GS... I also have the firewall in OSX turned on. Are there ports I need to open to get this to work? If so how?
Also I bought the iSight camera and just assumed that Photobooth would come with it... It doesn't seem to have been included. My buddy sent me version 1 but I am not sure if it's compatible with the Intel MacPro... how do I get it?
Any ideas?

Goto the linksys setup page and then goto the Adminstration option you should find UPnP which you should turn on.
Restart ichat.
You have a Macbook Pro which should have a built in iSight and photobooth should be in you application's folder.

Viewing web cam does not work, help needed

I'm having trouble viewing an iSight webcam on my iBook. I start up iChat on my MacBook then click accept to start viewing the webcam. 'connecting' comes up and thats as far as it goes. Same with audio, click accept and then it goes to 'connecting' then the same happens. I thought you could still 'view' the webcam even though theres not one installed on my iBook? Any help would be much appriciated, thank you!

Can I ask if you have an AIM or @mac name (A screen name ) ?
If so have you set this up in iChat ?
"Connecting" would indicate you are not Logged on to the AIM server hence my first question.
You can View your Preview by Clicking on your own Video icon next to your Buddy Icon pic. (or by going to the iChat > Preferences > Video section).
If the mac firewall is On but you have not set iChat ports then you could have problems particularly if in the Advanced section you have Stealth mode selected.
You will also need to open the ports in any device that routes to connect you to the internet.

Os- WindowsPhone 8.1 cyan
My phone's camera is not working properly.
Sometime the camera closes automatically.
And some pink lines appear in the screen.
Sometime camera don't open when press the camera key or click camera app.(it just opens and closes)

Aside from the built-in camera, are you also experiencing the issue with the other lens apps? Also, please confirm. Did this issue arise after updating the device to Lumia Cyan?
If you have updated the system apps and the issue is still present, try resetting the camera settings of the device. Go to Settings > applications > photos+camera > reset camera.
If you have identified that the issue also happens with other lens apps, try pressing and holding both the volume down and the power keys for 10-15 seconds. The phone will vibrate. It will restart afterwards.

Web-Cam does not work on Lenovo G480, PLEAS HELP!!

I have a Lenovo G480 (20165), and my built-in Web-Cam is not working.
When I enable it by pressing Fn+Esc the little light by the Web-Cam turns on, then shuts off after a second.
So I downloaded the Lenovo Easy Capture, and when I open the software, I get a message saying "Failed To Open Camera".
And when I turn on my laptop, the little light comes on for a short moment, then the light shuts off.
I don't know what to do, It's a brand-new laptop and I've never been able to get the Web-Cam to work, not even on Skype.
I would REALLY appreciate the help. Thank you!

Have you installed camera drivers from the us support site? Try reinstalling them

No one here can help you. If your phone is no longer under warranty, a third-party repair shop will most likely be your best bet. You can't mail the phone to Apple, in the US, as Apple does not accept international shipments. You could mail it to a friend/relative, in the US, & they could take it to an Apple store for you. Some Apple stores repair iPhones. Otherwise, you're looking at an out of warranty replacement.

If you are having an issue with the app downloaded form the App Store, check out the general troubleshooting article below to resolve the issue. If the camera is not working in that app, check other apps to see if the camera is working besides in that app.

If you are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare, call them. Let them deal w/it.

You're welcome, but I didn't do anything. Try closing the camera app completely and reset your iPad and maybe that will help.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
