Nokia Lumia 510 Sync Issue

Hi,
I have an issue with my nokia Lumia 510 model. The Issue is Sync is not working if we set "as soon as mail Arrives" for the Outlook ActiveSync. Mails will come if we press Sync. So Push Option is not working for the same in the Handset. Already I logged a complaint with nokia on July 5th 2013 with Service Request Num: 1-14428498979 & 1-14586729991. And the Device surrendered to a nokia Care Centre in Trivandrum (Mobility solution, Karamana on 31st July 2013) and same device came back to me on 20 th August stating tat the issue is resolved. But Still I'm facing the issue. Talked to the Customer Care Executvies and the Store Manager (Mobility soslutions) many times. Nobody is able to solve the issue rather they are not ready to Provide the higher authoroties mail id or contact nums. I dont know what need to be done for the mobile. We have Purchased the Device for a monitoring Purpose in our Office. If anybody face same kind of Issues (Auto Sync not Working/Push ot working in the same device), Pelase help me on this. thanks,

So, is anyone from Nokia going to solve this poor guy's problem, or just leave him hanging there?
Same with my Lumia 510: why is the push email not working?

Why did you change, Nokia?
Why did you make everything so non user friendly and non compatible with the lumia?
I miss the E-series phones

    Hi, i have purchased nokia lumia 510 around five months back. since then this phone is troubling me in a way or other. earlier there were issues with internet connectivity when i rectified it now there comes a new problem which occurs while making a call. whenever i make a call or receive a call after a few minutes i am unable to get the voice of the person on another side nor the other persons gets my voice. sometimes this happens just after 30-40 seconds and sometimes it happens after 15-16 minutes. then i have to cut the call in between and again have to call that person. this issue comes everytime i make or receive a call. i am so much irritated of this now. i even went to nokia care and they have replaced the speaker of the phone but this issue has not been resolved. can someone please help me to resolve this. please i need a permanent solution of this now.

    Have you tried replacing your sim card?

    Recently I have got Nokia lumia 510......nice phone......but it fails to search any WiFi network......somtimes shows notifications at top of the display but doesn't wrk at ol..........So what to do.........help help

    go directly on www.windowsphone.com website from there on search bar type adbe reader  and from there you will be able to download adobe reader and use on ur lumia  510

    Can you further elaborate on your concern? What type of voucher are you specifically asking? We have 2 kinds of vouchers:
    1. Nokia Music Unlimited vouchers. Previously, Nokia Music Unlimited supported devices come with voucher to activate the service. Now, activation of the service has been made PIN-less. The vouchers are just to extend your subscription and can be purchased via Oxigen retail stores and through online:

    I have a problem with the sound of my Nokia Lumia 920. I bought the phone back in June, this issue have only just start. The sound works when i get a text message, email and other notifications, it doesn't work when i play music or games, even when i type on the keyboard it just doesn't make any sound.     have you got the Portico update installed (check via Settings > Phone Update). also check that you are fully up to date with all the latest Nokia system apps in the Store. failing that, you can try soft reset (pressing the volume down and power buttons together until the phone vibrates).

  • Nokia lumia 1520 network issue(SIM not active) aft...

    Dear Nokia/Microsoft Team, can someone assist me on this issue. I was using my Nokia Lumia 1520 with W8. I got notification to update to W8.1. After update now Sim not getting active. I am unable to change from flight mode. Also I tried to downgrade to W8. But no luck. Buying such expensive phone was a major mistake I think I made.

  • Nokia Lumia 1520 signal issues

    Hello
    I bought my Nokia Lumia 1520 about 3 weeks ago. It has the international Hong Kong version. Since the first day I've been experiencing singnal issues. Sometimes I can't even get a 3G or H+ signal! It keeps dropping on Edge. I tried the same SIM card on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and it has perfect 3G signal ! I tried with a reset, manual preference  for network and it still gives the same output.. I tried the same SIM card even on Samsung Galaxy Core and Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and they still have a better signal.. 
    So..what should I do? Did anyone else have the same problem..is there any fix..?

    Nice to see you posting here in our community. I hope you are using a regular micro SIM card. BTW, have you tried using another SIM card? If no, try using it first. If yes, the last option is to contact the point of purchase for warranty options.

    I am planning to buy a new smartphone in the new year. So I decided to go for Nokia Lumia series Phones.
    So I have only two points to confirm.
    If I buy Lumia 510 or 620. Will they
    1) alert me instantly  if I get a email?
    2) Alert when some ping me on gtalk or Msn ?
    3) Can I use Lync messenger?
    Please If anybody can give answers to them so that I my confusion will go off.

    Email feting intervals can be set up in the mail settings. I know that on my phone for my main account I get a notification instantly on arriving mail.
    I have my main account set up to get mail 'as it arrives'

  • Nokia Lumia 800 - sync calendar entries

    Did anyone notice that Windows Live will only sync calendar entries within the last “2 weeks” to your lumia?  It seems that Windows Live has limited the synchronization through their server.  This has caused a lot of inconvenience as past calendar entries are also important.

    Yes, I have noticed this - the more responses that users find this unsatisfactory the better and, hopefully, Microsoft/Nokia will address the problem.
    There are many times when I need to refer to past items in my calendar, and a 15 day cut-off is unacceptable; I often go back 12 months! I also don't carry a laptop around with me, so logging in to my Windows Live or Google calendar is not an option - that was the reason for purchasing a smartphone.
    The Nokia Lumia 800 phone has performed well for me in all other functions but this really does need to be fixed. Come on guys, listen to your users.
    I am one of the people that this really DOES BOTHER!!

  • Nokia Lumia 822 - Application Issues

    First – I apologize in advance for the length of this post – I just wanted to provide as much detail as I could to help others that might run into problems like I did.
    I just got my Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon and had some issues that I believe were related to the phone being set up for English United Kingdom instead of English USA.
    When the associate was done setting up my phone, I started using it and noticed immediately that the virtual keyboard was set for UK English (it displayed a co.uk button instead of a .com button).  I went into Settings > System > Keyboard and Settings > System > language+region and switched from English UK to English USA, and I thought everything would be fine.
    Although phone functionality, texting, 4G, WiFi, and voice mail from the Verizon Wireless Phone application all worked, and I was able to download applications from the Windows App Store, I had the following issues:
    My Verizon Mobile hangs at “Loading Resources…” screen
    Voicemail application – got “SIM Error – Unable to read SIM Data” error message
    Settings > System > Nokia account – got “Hardware Problem – Couldn’t Complete Operation” error message
    Settings > System > Backup Assistant Plus – would not start and returned directly to Settings > System menu
    Settings > System > extras+info – would not start and returned directly to Settings > System menu
    I took the phone to my local Verizon Wireless store and they told me that it looked like a hardware problem and that I should return it for an exchange where I purchased the phone. I also called Verizon Tech Support, and the support assistant tried a couple of things before coming to the same conclusion – that the hardware was probably faulty and I should exchange my phone for a new one.
    I decided to ensure that my SIM card was seated properly, so I popped off the back cover, removed the battery, then removed my SD Card and SIM Tray, then reinserted everything and put the back cover back on.  When the phone booted up, I noticed that the App Store had 6 updates for the apps that I was having trouble with.  I went into the App Store and downloaded the updates, and now encountered the following problems:
    My Verizon Mobile now launched, but I got an error message that the app could not connect to the network.
    Voicemail application – still got “SIM Error”
    Settings > System > Nokia account – still got “Hardware Problem”
    Settings > System > Backup Assistant Plus – application launched but I got an error message
    Settings > System > extras+info – now worked, and displayed version information about my phone and OS version
    Finally, I went into Settings > System > about and pressed the reset your phone button.  When it booted, I went through the initial setup screens and selected the default language (English USA).  I noticed that English UK was right above the default selection, and I believe the associate who did the setup in the store selected this instead of clicking on the default.  After selecting that I wanted to restore my data from the cloud, and waiting for about 5 minutes for this to complete, I was glad to see that all of the functionality now worked as expected.
    So to make a long story short, before assuming you have a bad piece of hardware, try using Settings > System > about – reset your phone – just in case it was set up incorrectly at the store.

    Sorry to hear that your phone has become so unresponsive! Let's see if we can get that working again. Try removing the battery for 30 seconds and then replace battery and back and power on. Should that trouble still persist then the next step would be a factory reset. This will unfortunately erase the Lumia but at least will make it functional again.   • Nokia lumia 925 camera issue! Please help asap!

    If you see from the pics that i have attached below, the first one is where the photo is being saved and thats the natural colour of the image but the next pic shows the post saving issue that i get. The issue totally reduces the crispness of the photo and there is always the yellow thingy in the pic! Is it a processing error? software or hardware? I tried all possible solutions (soft reset, hard reset, deleting app and reinstalling) no use! I even tried the nokia recovery tool no use again! I am still facing the same issue after the update of nokia cam app! Any other nokia lumia 925 user facing the same issue? Please help me! I love taking quality pics! Compare both the pics side by side and you'll know my issue! I tried getting a solution from nokia care and all online support but no one can help me on this! I know there must be a solution for this. Is this covered under warranty if so my phone is under warranty period!

    These are some of the pics i clicked using my lumia and ya these are edited! Before saving these images the clarity and the contrast were emaculate but after saving the processing kills it! I use only manual settings on the nokia cam!
