Nokia Messaging still not working.

I have been trying to set up Nokia Messaging for a few days now. I've read all the info I can find on the net regarding it - others have fixed it, but I still cannot.
Any email address I enter into the email setup wizard gives the familiar message "Unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again."
I have already installed the latest version of Nokia Messaging. I have tried my Ovi address, Gmail address, Hotmail address, Yahoo! address and an 'other' address with the same result.
Logging on to email.nokia.com with a PC allows me to enter my mobile number (with and without the '0' at the beginning of my Australian mobile) and choose my phone (N97). Clicking next opens a page which advises me to log on to email.nokia.com with my mobile browser. Doing so brings me to a download page for the latest version of messenger which I already have.
I cannot log in to Nokia Messenger online as I cannot create an account. Attempting to sign up brings me back to the enter your mobile number and choose your phone page. Dead end.
Please let me know how to solve this.

I am having this same issue. I've downloaded the newest version of nokia messaging from the browser on my N97. I enter in all my email information, it downloads my email to my phone, but in a very primative format. (it connects, but does not remain connected. Each time i leave my messaging folder I have to disconnect.)
When I enter my logon on the email.nokia.com site, it tells me (The user name and password you entered do not match any accounts on record. Please make sure that you have correctly entered the first email address you used when you signed up for Nokia Messaging.) -
My friend has an N97, and his nokia messaging is a very different look than mine, it pushes email to his phone at any time,.. it's what I'm looking for.
He set up his nokia messaging on my phone, and it downloaded his email, set up nokia messaging etc.. but with all his data. (he lauched if from his active email.nokia.com logon on his PC)
Once I deleted his info, and tried to set up my account, - NO GO, back to the same old problem I had. So the 'application' does function on my phone, its proven to... its something to do wtih my account not being able to be created. Nokia phone support had NO idea how to assist.

Nokia messaging will not work with PLUSNET account...

I signed up with one of my PLUSNET accounts, and that worked just fine.
Tried to add another, giving the login of ACCOUNT+ID as well as e-mail address and password.
Nokia messaging keeps telling me "Unable to connect with the information provided"
Frustratiing!! It works fine if I use another account not from PLUSNET
So, tried deleting the first account and re-adding it (since Nokia Messaging had accepted if first time).
Result - Nokia messaging won't add even the account that did work to begin with, and keeps replying "Unable to connect with the information provided"
There's obviously a bug here. Anyone else found this, or better still found it and fixed it??

I haven't tried adding two PN accounts, but I did find it failed at first and I had to then adjust the account name it was trying to log in under as it tries to use the name portion from the email address as the account name (not always the same). I should think for futher PN mailboxes if they are under the same account, you need to do likewise and change the account name to login under. You have to let it fail first to change it though.
Also, it defaults to POP3 settings, so I changed it to IMAP, though I don't think I can get access to IMAP folders so probably not much benefit.

I'm having three issues: spellcheck goes off, lastpass not working on all sites, and message boards not working correctly

I'm having three issues with Firefox. I had the latest 10.1, and I just tried Aurora, but that didn't solve my issues.
1) Spell checker keeps going off on messages boards. This happens frequently on 247 sports boards. I enable spell check, make a post, and it's off again when I make another post.
2) On the same 247 board, when I make a post (by clicking the "post reply" button, nothing happens. To get it working I actually have to quit the site and go back in.
3) LastPass plugin is no longer working on all sites. Site like Facebook and Yahoo all of a sudden Lastpass doesn't recognize as having usable fields.

Elements 13 crashes - Windows message - this program is not working correctly - windows will close it.

I bought Elements 13 4 days ago through Amazon - so far it has not run for more than 5 minutes before Windows closes it down with the message - this program is not working correctly, windows will close it. I know this is not unusual but has anyone got a solution - apart from returning it
with a very unfavourable review? I have tried all the suggested fixes on the Adobe help site with no result. Elements 10 runs OK on the same machine.
Alternatively, is there any possible way to get support from Adobe?

Do you have any version of Premiere Elements 13 or only Photoshop Elements 13 which comes with Elements Organizer 13?
Let us look at the following for Elements Organizer 13....
1. Deletion of disabling the Elements Organizer 13 setting file which is named psa.prf. In Windows 7, 8, o 8.1 64 bit, it is found in the
path

Elements Organizer

Organizer
and in the Organizer Folder is the psa.prf file that you delete or disable by renaming it from psa.prf to psa.prfOLD.
2. If the above gains you successful entry into the Elements Organizer 13, then you can
a. create a new catalog
and/or
b. repair or optimize the current one
See Elements Organizer 13/File Menu/Manage Catalogs/Catalog Manager.
3. There are times that certain formats will bring the Elements Organizer down when you try to import those formats into
it. But, from what you wrote, your current problems do not sound media related.
3. At your earliest opportunity, please update Elements Organizer 13 to 13.1 using its Help Menu/Updates.

When I opened Gmail in my Firefox browser, I got a message I've never seen, before: "You are using an old version of Firefox which Gmail no longer supports. Some features may not work correctly. I clicked on upgrade to a new version and was taken to the Mozilla site, where I downloaded the latest version of Firefox... then, when I restarted my computer, Gmail still gives me the same message!! What's going on?

HT201365 my text to send messages is now not working correctly after upgrading

Since upgrading last week my text is not working correctly it is very slow does not show the letter being used and takes seconds to be put in

Looking into the Diagnostics and Usage Reports in 'Settings' -> 'General' -> 'About' I see nine different "ExcResource_MobileMail_DATE" reports. Looking at the report I see a SysInfoCrashReport that indicates that the CPU was pegged at over 50% (mostly over 75%) for over 180 seconds using the MobileMail app.
I also see a "MobileMail_DATE" report that indicates that there was an 'Exception raised during monitored invocation of _loadMoreMessagesWithMaxVisibleIndexPath:maximumIndexPathsBySource:, exception: ** -[__NSArrayM objectAtIndex:]: index 4294967295 beyond bounds for empty array"
And finally I see three "stacks+MobileMail-DATE" reports with "Power assertion timeout for 'com.apple.message.fetchMobileSynchronously...' Simply resetting it now." and "Power assertion timeout for 'com.apple.mobilemail.messagebodyloader' Simply resetting it now" reports.
I updated to iOS 7.0.4 and decided to try and delete the account in my Mail settings and recreate it and set it to manual instead of the non-working fetch. Now, when I try to check my mail it still takes up to five minutes to respond, pulling the screen to refresh brings up the spinner for about one second and then disappears and no indications of activity occur until about three minutes later when I see the spinner in the status bar near the clock and then see a notification that it's downloading X of Y messages. At that point, message headers come in very quick and then about a minute later message previews come in. At random times, opening the mail app I get a "Password incorrect" error, even though the password works on other attempts.

E75 messaging application not working

Hi,
I have recently purchased an E75 and at first glance it looks to be very nice. However, now i have run into the problem that messaging is not working properly. The message indicator is telling me that I have 6 new messages. When I try to go menu>>messages the application tries to open but immediately crashes. Also when I try to open the messages directly by clicking on them from the message indicator the same behavior seems to happen.
Has anybody experienced the same? How do I get rid of these messages if I can't open them?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I've had similar problems with my E75.
I've found that Nokia Messaging simply gets confused & over-loaded, and gives up.
Try accessing you email account from your computer.
Then, delete all of your messages from your inbox & sent folders.
Basically, purge as much as possible.
Then try accessing it from your E75.
This usually works for me.

Email pushing not working correctly for office email - 3 seperate devices/carriers

We switched email hosts several months ago and since our email pushing has not worked correctly. Our host/IT guy has been very unwilling to help me through this (I get the pleasure of being the in-house IT source)
I personally am on AT&T have no problems with the other 3 emails I have set up on my blackberry. However I receive my work account one time a day at roughly 6:15. Another user is on Alltel and he receives spotty emails throughout the day, but his gmail account comes through instantly. The third user is on nextel and he receives his 2-3 times per day.
I began to think this was an email host issue since the three of us are all on different carriers, until I found out a fourth user, also on nextel, receives his emails fine.
Users 1-3 are on Outlook 07 on various versions of the Curve. We have all our messages to stay on the server.
User 4 is on the older nextel blackberry push to talk, and is not on outlook.
We do not have an exchange server. Our emails were all set up through our devices.
Any suggestions? The answers I have received through our carriers is to make sure that our messages are set to be left on the server. Everyone else at the office has given up - but for me this is the quest for the Holy Grail.......I'm determined find the answer!

Potential solution for windows for a side-by-side install. This works for me.
To setup a firefox install side by side so that links from external programs (like email) can open (so you don't get a "Firefox is already running but is not responding" message) do the following.
The solution entails the use of the -no-remote switch. Don't use it for the default browser. Use it for the non default browser.
I'll use firefox 3.6 and firefox 4.0 as examples but this should work for future versions.
+ Install firefox 3.6 and Firefox 4.0 in different directories. Eg.
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4\firefox.exe
+ Open profile manager. Start > Run : firefox.exe -ProfileManager
+ In profile manager create Two Profiles.

firefox4
+ In profile manager select firefox 4 as your default (assuming you want to default to the latest) and tick "Don't ask at startup"
+ Create two windows shortcuts.
* General: Mozilla Firefox 4 (default). Shortcut > Target: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4\firefox.exe". Shortcut > Start In: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4"
* General: Mozilla Firefox 3.6. Shortcut > Target: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p firefox3.6 -no-remote. Shortcut > Start In: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox"
That's it. Links from external programs should now open in your default browser.

System Update not working correctly

Hi forum,
System Update (Version 4.00.0024) is not working correctly on my T500 with Windows 7.
1: Not detecting old versions
SU is not detecting, that there is an old version of Access Connection (5.42) installed although there is a new version 5.50 avaliable. I had to do a manual update.
2: Not installing a suggested update
Each time I run SU, I get a suggested update for "Fix for Issue of HDD with HDP Detection for Windows Vista/7". After downloading there comes a meaningless message "package was not installed" (Paket wurde nicht installiert). No hint for any error.
3: Some drivers (e.g. for the ultranav) have not been downloaded at all - I had to test the functions of some hardware components and download the appropriate drivers manually in case of malfuncion.
Probably there is a solution known within the forum community, at least this should be a message to lenovo (I received no response from the help desk when reporting this finding).

Technical informations:
PC with Windows 7 64-bit, Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit installed.
What I have done:
I downloaded the newest LR 5.71 and installed it again - mode repair; without success
I checked my PC with Norton 360: full scanning and optimizing registry
I restarted the PC and than I installed the LR 5.7 again - repair
Trouble 1:
Two days ago I could work with my LR 5 and to import pictures from a SD was no problem. Now I can start LR 5 and I can watch/modify pictures, but as soon as I try to import new pictures LR 5 stops and gives the message "your LR 5 64-bit does not work correctly - searching for solution". I have not changed anything in my computer since lasttime LR 5 worked properly, only the registry was optimized by Norton 360.
Trouble 2:
I live in Switzerland and my language ist German. I dit not find a place where I can present my problem in German, e.g. a phone number oder email-address oder german-chat. My English is to week for a discussion for computer problems and do understand it.
Help:
I would very appreciate if anybody can help me, either to trouble 1 or to trouble 2. Thanks.

Thanks for the Bash! I'm surprised you had the time
for it.Go back and look at your original post. A whole bunch of code, and the only description of the problem is "not working correctly." Do you honestly think that's a reasonable way to ask for help? Do you go to the doctor and say, "I'm sick" and then just wait for him to cure you? Do you take your care to the mechanic and say only, "It's broke"?
Look, this is your problem and it's your responsibility to fix it. There are people here who are happy to help you, but it's up to you to provide a reasonable statement of what's wrong, what you've tried, what you don't understand. For instance:
Does it compile? If not, post the complete error message.
Does it run, but throw an exception? If so, post the stack trace.
Does it not throw an exception, but not behave the way you expect? Then describe the expected beavior and the observed behavior.
Do you really need to be told this stuff? It seems like common sense that when you're asking people to spend their time helping you, you should give them the information they need to be able to do so.

10.9.2 Mail not working correctly

I'm the only person in the office to upgrade to 10.9.2 (thankfully!). Since then, Mail has not worked correctly. It is an IMAP account.
When I click on an existing message in my inbox, instead of displaying instantly it takes 3-4 seconds. The screen scrolls light grey, dark grey, light grey, dark grey then the message. I can live with this but it's very annoying.
But worse, I now cannot perform any mail searches to refer back to existing messages I have in any of my mailboxes. Search functions 'to, 'from' 'entire message', 'any' do not work. Even if the message or sender is in the inbox, it can’t find it. This is serious as I'm constantly using this function.

My wife is having the exact same problem all of a sudden with gmail on her MacBook Air. Also running 10.9.2. Everything is running perfectly on the iPhone, but on the Mac, no new email is downloading and the inbox is not syncing.
