Not able to activate ipad mini retina(wifi+cellular) for the first time
hey,
i just bought a new ipad mini with retina display (wifi+cellular) and when trying to activate it,its showing this error that cannot connect to servers please try again....i'm not able to use my ipad..:(....and help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Try this:
1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Please help! I'm really stressed out about this. I have lost all my recent family holiday photos after returning from overseas. After I sync my ipad mini with my laptop pc for the very first time. all the photos I had in my iPad mini has gone. I assume it was stored in iCloud. As suggested i should download iCloud Control Pannel to my pc to which I did. After I click "manage storage", it shows I have used up 621.70MB of my total storage 5GB. Thank you or taking your time reply this query. Unfortunately I still can't find my picture. My photo stream folder is empty! :(
But my iclod account says I have 621.7 MB backed up. What are they? How to access this backed up file? What does I meant by INCOMPLETE. Does it mean that the file ha been corrupted during the process? Or ICloud is not compatible to my laptop?

I recently shut down my MacBook Pro for the first time in a long time. SInce then, everytime i reboot or awake my laptop from sleep, the Mail app opens unprompted causing my computer to slow down incredibly, and some apps to freeze. I have no idea how to stop this or why it even started doing this. Any ideas on how to get it to stop? Thanks!
I have this problem too with my Macbook Air. Mail opens automatically every time my laptop sleeps. I actually just asked about this in my own thread. However, it is not causing my apps to freeze.

IPad mini retina wifi+cellular is turning off.
My iPad mini retina is turning off sometimes during my usage. It shows apple picture on the white screen, and then it is turning on again. Why could that be?

You may need to force close all open apps, then restart the iPad.

HT4479 Credit card security code not accepted when trying to sign into App Store for the first time
I have just signed up for an Apple ID. I want to download Twiter for Mac from the App Store. When I try to log in, it tells me this is the first time I have tried using this ID and asks me to register my credit card details. I have entered all the information they ask for but it tells me my security code (CVV) is invalid. Is there any way to fix this, or to sign in without giving my credit card details?

Itunes is on my desk top on windows 7 and I can not open it, I have just downloaded it again and hit repair to see if this helps as well but it still won't open

If so, in Edit > Preferences > Advanced is the option to "prevent syncing of iDevices" selected?

not able to get IPad mini to update email accounts. Wifi is connected, have rebooted. Mail is coming through on iPhone 5.
It could be the network, but what surprises me is that nothing else is being blocked at all. And I can't seem to change the port that Mail is on. I tried a port scan, and it came up that that port is blocked (993), but it also came up that every other port I tried was also blocked. I used a Mac to do a Port Scan for my iPad's IP, but it wasn't detecting any open ports. So I don't know if it is an issue with the network, or perhaps with my iOS devices. The network has 802.1X security I believe (I need a username and password to login), so unsure if this would affect it at all?

I was given a 16Gb ipad mini retina with cellular but I need more storage. We do not have the receipt as it is a gift. I like to swap for a 64Gb unit and pay for the difference, how do I go about doing that? I have not open the packaging yet.

Thanks for that. Yes, the ipad was purchased recently. I called Apple last Friday and they ask for the receipt. I wonder if anyone were able to swap their ipad for a larger storage in the past at the apple store without a receipt? 16Gb is such a small storage. -

If the iPhone 5 is sold in India then that implies nano-sim cards are available there - the iPad Mini takes the same size sim as the iPhone 5

I purchased a ipad w/retina wifi + cellular to use in Grenada for school. I also purchased the data plan for Verizon. I replaced the sim chip with one from Grenada and still unable to connect. Please help!
Verizon doesn't work in Grenada. You bought the wrong version.
