Not able to open Enterprise dba console in 10g after changing the system ip
Hi Guys,
I have installed 10g database on windows 2003 server.
I was able to open the Enterprise manager DB console(EM) after installation. But I changed the IP address of the system and now I m not able to open the Enterprise manager.
Any help will be much appriciated in this regard.

MDM 7.1 not able to open in MDS console
Hello,
From MDM console, i'm trying to have DBMS Setting of Oracle 10.2.0.4, but it is giving me error as Database not connected, when i checked in logs file, it is giving me "Oracle Initialization Failed -- likely missing libraries/dlls".
"ERROR CODE=-1 ||| Failed to intitialize Oracle shared library"
I did check all the settings and so far it looks good, as my Dev system is working fine.
I'm using MDM 7.1, if anyone came across such issue, please let me know, what can be done to avoid this?

Even we faced a similar issue. We were also on same oracle version.
We found out that the main problem was with the default database created after installation. So our Oracle DBAs, created a similar database manually and deleted the default database and problem got resolved.
Hope this gives you a hint to the way forward.

The phone randomly shutting down-that could be a hardware issue. Do you live near an apple store? they could see whats up with the phone. It could very well be something in the software though. A good way to test it would be to follow this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 and test it for a few days. If it doesn't do the shutting down thing, you know it's a software issue. If it still does it, you know it's a hardware issue.
As far as deleting the apps, they'll always be there. Just make sure there's not a check mark next to them and they won't sync to your phone =] -

Based on my research, this event ID 81 occurs if the account that the SQL Server agent runs as on the server with the Reporting database does not have permissions to
the collection database on the other server. This most frequently happens if the SQL Server agent is running as Local System.
If you are using an existing SQL Server computer for Client Security, you may not have the SQL Server Agent service using a domain user account.
For Client Security to work correctly, you must give permissions for the account under which the SQL Server Agent service runs on the reporting database to the collection database on the
management, collection, and reporting servers.
In addition, the event ID 10002 is usually due to the installation of Client Security not being fully configured.

I have checked in weblogic console. there in the "Deployments" tab , em.ear is in failed state.i tried to update(redeploy) it to adminserver, but im getting the following error....

Please provide some inputs.stopping and starting em application from AdminConsole-> Deployments did the trick.

Not able to open existing process chains in BW development

I am not able to open my existing process chains in development, actually I would like to schedule the process chain but I couldnt do that becoz of above reason. While opneing I am getting pop-up message as " Choose a change request with target system/CONSOL/". I reported this issue to Basis but they told it is not an issue at all

For the time being you can create a transport, but indicate that it shouldn't be transported.
Then you will be able to work with the process chain.
Just be sure to delete the transport so it doesn't get moved to production on accident.

Urgent:: Not able to open/lauch forms session
Hi All,
I had cloned our production instance to create a new instance.
But now I'm not able to open the form session. We are having apps 11.5.10.2.
The dbc file is perfect.. I even checked ICX parameters & related profile values.. seems to be ok..
I can login through /dev60cgi/f60cgi. But can not lauch forms from personal home page.
Can anyone plz suggect wht might be wrong?

Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else. -
Not able to open Database Configuration Assitance after installing MGT ser
I've install Oracle Grid Control Enterprises manage in sperate machine(MON1) to moniter 3 servers and I've install Oracle Management Service to get connect with MON1 server. After installation i'm not able to open Databaase configuration assitance and net configuration assitance.
Please help on thisI've found the solution for this problem. Follow this step
step 1. Before install management service copy the environment variable value of PATH in a notepad. For this Select MyComputer-> Do right click->click on advance tab->Click Environment Variables>Under System Variables you see a variables called PATH->select and click on Edit button You will get the value of PATH Value.
Step 2. Now you do Management Service installation
Step 3. Again you do the same step as STEP 1(Make sure you should do this).
Step 4. Now you copy the content which you have copy in step 1 and paste it in PATH Variable
Step 5. Now you try to open.
Step 6. Now You restore the content of PATH Variable which you have copy(STEP 3) after installation so the Management Service will work fine -

You set up your dynamic action like this:

(notice the dot at the beginning!)

And finally, in your True Action (SkillBuilders Modal Page (2.0.0)), URL Location should be set as Attribute of Triggering Element.
And that's pretty much all it takes.
