Not able to reprocess IDOCs in BD87

Hi Team,
I have two uses with IDOC processing role assigned, but one user is able to do this sucessfully and other can't .. I did trace both users and exactly same objects are being cheked and it RC =0 for t-code BD87.
Please advice

Not able to Reprocess in MII 12.1.8

I am trying to Re-process the Message but not able to reprocess. MII version 12.1.8.20. I am using the 1.StockingMessageWMTrx for Processing and reprocessing. I am calling dynamically another transaction 2. WMConfiguration Transaction.
Transaction second is working fine because this is using while processing first time and this is working fine. Secondly I have tested this by executing directly (Hard coded input XML) then working fine.
In the First transaction I am just sending the XML(for reprocessing) using the repeater into the second trx. And this XML is passing properly into the second Trx as per the Display input Tracer.

Hi All,
After further analysis I came to know that PDF contents is not getting indexed with Adobe Reader 8.2.
As I installed AR 9.3 the contents get indexed and I am able to search in PDF files with re-installaing adobe reader 8.2 also.
Has any one faced this type of secnario earlier?

I am not able to import the IDoc from SAP ECC system in IR. I have checked that, hostname, client, server no. everthing is correct. I checked in SLD also. Host Name is correct.
While import (after giving the user name and password), I am getting the following error.
Problems to reach R3 System
What could be the probelm ?

Hi,
Just counter check following step
1. Go to SWCV definition tab select radio button for Import of RFC....
2. In Connection Data for Import from SAP System maintain correct System and correct Client.
3. Make sure you maitain ECC system in Central SLD.
4. In Import Screen check at the top of the screen have SAP System, is that system from where you want to import the IDOC.

            To configure task for reversal use following navigation path
Goto Tcode /n/posdw/img
POS Data Warehouse Management -> POS Inbound Processing -> Tasks -> Tasks for Task Groups
Now configure all your relevent task for task group 0009 for Tasks Relevant for Transaction Reversal

Not able to import IDOC in SAP XI through SAP....

Hi,
I am able to see the IDOC in SAP box through we60 transaction. But its not visible while importing in Integration Repository (SAP XI).
Do i need to do any prior configuration for this...?

Just Check the Following
1. In in SCWV in the IR, Tick imoprt of IDOC and RFC allowed
2. Set in the System Information there of your SAP backend System.
3. Then Click on import and, key in the user details.
4. Check whether the user has authorizations for import ( For RFC S_RFC authorization ) is required.
Doing this an Import should be possible.

XI developer not able to handle IDOCs

Dear all
We are facing the following problem .
I have created an XML to IDOC scenario in the Integration Builder . Everything works fine for me, but when anonther developer (whose user is copied from mine) tries to see/edit the message mapping of the same scenario, he gets the message
"Interface object IDoc ORDERS.ORDERS05 | urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages does not exist in the specified software component version ************* , 1.0 of ******** Select one of the following existing versions" .
We also noticed that in Imported Objects/Idocs, although the IDOC Orders.orders05 is active (and we also deleted an reimported several times), if he opens it, he can't see its structure or the XSD description .
Any help will be appreciated .

Hi Markos,
Check whether the Developer is able to access the other objects in the interface. If he is having issue with all the objects, then the issue might be with the Authorization.
Check with the BASIS team regarding the issue.

Mdm_clnt_extr is not able to create idoc for material

Hello ,
In my scenario material data has to transfered from ECC6.0 to MDM5.5 using XI.
Scenario is configured in XI.
Trying to extreact materials from ECC6.0 using mdm_clnt_extr.
Material_extract is extraction object used in variant required for mdm_clnt_extr.
once I give values for matnr and starts extraction, background job goes into error
saying 'This idoc is permitted for XI logical system'. where In we20 of ECC6.0 , I have MATMAS04 and MATMAS05. In both cases I am getting error 'This idoc is permitted for XI logical system'.
At the same one bp document od MDM , message type MATMDM is given, but i dont see that in ECC6.0.
Pl can anyone suugest on this.

Hi Sharada,
i think there is some problem in your RFC destination settings,tats why the error is coming.
I am trying to get the exact solution for your error,meanwhile you can check your configuration settings.
I will outline the ALE Settings .
1 WE21 : Set up the port in IDOC Processing
2 SM59 : Set the RFC Destination to XI and check it.
3 WE20 : Create a partner profile with Partner Type LS (Logical System) for XI
Include the message types : DEBMDM, MATMAS, MDMRECEIPT
4 BD64 : Create a Distribution model with Sender as SAP and receiver as XI.
Include the message type DEBMDM,MDMRECEIPT,MATMAS,/SAPSSLL/MATMAS_SLL
5 Generate partner profile. This will generate it in the receiving system.
Following transactions are useful for trouble shooting any idoc issues
WE02, WE20 ,BD87,SMQ2,SMQ3 and SALE->System Monitor->trfc check

Not able to import Idoc in to XI Design Environment

I am facing error while importing Idoc from a SAP Retail R/3.
the error is :

Cannot reprocess Idoc from BD87

Hi,
I have created an Idoc using a zprogram which is used fro contract creation. The created idoc is displayed outside on a basic report .This idoc is generated due to some error in the contract creation process.
No i dont come out of this program which still shows the created idoc
If i dont come out of the program which generated the error, & if i try to reprocess the Idoc... I cant!!!.
Only if i come out of this program, i can reprocess it.
I want to the reason ? wht does SAP do & how does it check if the Idoc is used by some other program.

Have you register the Queue after upgrade?
Here is the procedure to register the queue
You need to register the Queues
Transaction: SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Register the Queues.
or you can run below program.

Hi,
you are right, it is not possible to schedule a job using BD87, instead you could schedule a job for RBDMANI2 with the variant containing all the message types or you could also categorize your message types based on the priority and schedule a job for the same.
In a similar case, i have seen jobs being scheduled only based on the message types because some of the Partners would be external systems in which case it is better to provide the patner name in the variant.

Try writing the file in bin mode.

XI is not able to archive file in file-idoc scenario

Hello friends,
I have an issue in my file->idoc scenario. When a file is placed to XI's filesystem using FTP, it is placed under xiftpuser user. Owner of all directories in this structure wher the file is placed is xiftpuser. XI is not able to archive the file because of the permissions on the archive directory. But the problem is, permissions on this directory are 775 and xiftpuser and xipadm user are in the same group. So this should work. But it doesn't. When I change permissions to 777 everything works fine.
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
Does it matter, that xipadm user has been added to the common group with xiftpuser "later", when XI was up a long time before? Do we need to restart j2ee to take these new permissions into account?

If archive directory Path is d:\archive
Put a '\' after it.
e.g. "D:\archive\"

File to IDOC Scenario Not able get Metadata (IDX2)

Hi,
I am doing File to IDOC scenario. I have done all configurations in IR and in ID. But it is throwing error like ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA-Basic type ZOIDOC does not exist.
Where as my custom idoc is a not exit in metadata (IDX2). Also I am trying to reload same manually but I am not able to reload it. I have all required configuration in SAP R/3 side like partner profile.
I would appreciate yours inputs.

Hi Sunil,
You are saying that you are unable to load the Metadata even manually.
There could be a problem with the RFC destination defined within the IDX1 port. So first test the RFC destination using SM59.
Also ensure that you have used the right naming conventions for the PORTS and RFC destinations as below:
<SID>CL<ClientNo> e.g DXXCL055 where DXX is the SID and 055 is the Client No.

I guess if standard IDOC doesnt have that field, then you need to extend the IDOC. YOu need to find user exit in that IDOC and write the code.

Issues with Reprocess Idoc

Hi all,
The developement for BOM interface is done.
it is working fine.But my client extented requirement like this
after processing IDOC , if there is any status 51 idocs available.
he will do reprocess from BD87. that time some part of code in FM needs to be triggered.
I am not able make Difference b/w first IDOC number and Reprocess IDoc number.
means for keeping conditon , i need one unique differenet between new IDOC and Reprocess IDOC.
Is there any point to know that properties.

Reprocessing a idoc would not create a new IDoc, only the status of the IDoc would be changed if the error with which it was already occuring has been modified.
