Not able to start the weblogic admin server

Hi,
I am getting the error while starting the weblogic admin server of OAM console.

I had tried by putting the username and password in boot.properties but we are getting the same issue.
we tried by editing the config.xml file of the domain.
i.e. by

Hi have installed the portal 7.0 evalution version. But when i am trying start the visual admin. when click on go.bat file. It is giving the following message.

Not able to start Integrated Weblogic server

Hi All,
I have installed Jdeveloper & Weblogic server in my system. I am able to deploy my SOA peojects in em console. But when i try to run a JSF project , it is throwing an error message like not able to start Integrated Weblogic Server. And Could not read old style optfile from D:\OracleOSB\Middleware\oracle_common\modules\oracle.jrf_11.1.1\jrocket_optfile.txt. I dont have my middleware in D:\OracleOSB\Middleware, But i have created the Middleware home in D:\Oracle\Middleware.
I reinstalled SOA sutie, Jdeveloper & Weblogic server but stilll then i am getting the same error when i try to start Integrated Weblogic server. Please find below the error message:

Not able to start the listener in oracle 10g after the domain name changed

I had installed the oracle 10g on zLinux. It was working fine( was able to mount the database and start the listener). Now my server's domain name got changed. So i have added the new domain name in the tnsnames.ora and listeners.ora file . now i could able to mount the databases but am not able to start the listener . whille starting the listener , am getting the following error

Not able to Start the oracle db error "ORA-01031: insufficient privileges"

Hi experts,
I have oracle 11g setup on so solaris. i changed the db_cache_size
& processes values and stopped the DB services after that i am not able to start the oracle DB. Listener is running.
when i start the db server its giving the below error(startup.log)

Start/Stop Weblogic Admin Server

Hello,
I have installed Forms 11g in my home Pc, so is it possible to Start/Stop Weblogic Admin Server and the Dos window that appears, not to ask me about username and password?
I mean like a bat file (script), to enter the username and password in a text file
if yes, also the same in WLS_FORMS?

Starting an Administration Server with a Startup Script
An Administration Server is a WebLogic Server instance that maintains configuration data for a domain. In a development environment, it is usually sufficient to start an Administration Server and deploy your applications directly onto the Administration Server. In a production environment, you create Managed Servers to run applications. For more information about Administration Servers and Managed Servers, see "Understanding WebLogic Server Domains" in Understanding Domain Configuration for Oracle WebLogic Server.
You can start an Administration Server with a default startup script or create your own. To start an Administration Server with the WebLogic Server-included startup script:
If you have not already done so, use the Configuration Wizard or WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) to create a domain.
See Creating Domains Using the Configuration Wizard or "Creating Domains Using WLST Offline" in Oracle WebLogic Scripting Tool.
Open a shell (command prompt) on the computer on which you created the domain.
Change to the directory in which you located the domain.
By default, this directory is MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\DOMAIN_NAME, where DOMAIN_NAME is the root directory of the domain. (The name of this directory is the name of the domain.)
Run one of the following scripts:
bin/startWebLogic.cmd (Windows)
bin\startWebLogic.sh (UNIX and Windows. On Windows, this script supports the MKS and Cygnus BASH UNIX shell emulators.)
Note:
If you use a Configuration Wizard template that is provided by WebLogic Server, your domain directory includes a start script named startWebLogic. If you use a domain template from another source, the wizard might not create a start script, or it might create a script with a different name. The template designer determines whether the wizard creates a start script and the name of the script.
The startWebLogic script does the following:
Sets environment variables by invoking DOMAIN_NAME\bin\setDomainEnv.cmd (setDomainEnv.sh on UNIX), where DOMAIN_NAME is the directory in which you located the domain; for example, WL_HOME\user_projects\domains\DOMAIN_NAME, and where WL_HOME is the location in which you installed WebLogic Server.
Invokes the java weblogic.Server command, which starts a JVM that is configured to run a WebLogic Server instance.
When the server successfully completes its startup process, it writes the following message to standard out (which, by default, is the command window):

Starting an Administration Server from the Windows Start Menu
When you create an Administration Server on a Windows computer, the Configuration Wizard creates a shortcut on the Start Menu for starting the server (User Projects > DOMAIN_NAME > Start Admin Server for WebLogic Server Domain).

Not able to start the Sun Java System Access Manager 7 Console

I have successfully installed the Sun Java System Portal Server 7 on RHEL 4.0.The problem I am facing is not able to start the Sun Java System Access Manager 7 Console while accessing the URL: http://fqdn:8080/amconsole

Hi All,
I am having exactly the same problem with the same stack trace. Has anybody have an idea how to fix this?
I have downloaded the Java Identity Management Suite.(java_es-5-identsuite-ga-windows-x86.zip) The first time installation was fine and I was able to bring the Access Manager console. I was able to create users groups etc.
However, when I uninstalled and installed it again, I got exactly the same error described in the thread. Running "amserver start" and "amserver restart" did not help. I did the installation one more time
but again I got the same error.

Does the Weblogic Admin server need to be running after initial Connection?

Initially, I require a login to the Weblogic Admin Server.via my code
I am using JMX to monitor weblogic and all works great..I am trying to close the Admin Server and code blows up. Do I need the Admin Server running all the time?
Do you know of a way to connect initially to the Admin to get all Nodes, thendisconnect from Admin and monitor Nodes only? Thank you.

Not able to start the NW04 CI instance.

Hi All,
I installed NW04 JAVA with EP 6.0 on Windows 2003 SP1 with MS SQL. I configured SCS and CI to run on Virtual hosts SAPENQ01 and SAPJ2EE respectively for HA. I have two node cluster. When I start CI and SCS on same host they started just fine and everything is working. I switched the SCS instance group to second node and tried to start the CI instnce on first node. The CI is not able to start.
I tried starting CI manually also ... bust it just gives message on command line saying "STARTSAP continues ... ". No logs are created. It never starts jcontrol.exe process. And also when I see SAP MMC ... it is not showing SAP instances there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Did you adjust the profile files of the Web AS so that they use the virtual host names (wherever host names are used), not the real host names. For example, if the host name of the message server in the profile is the real hostname of the machine, after the switchover connection to message server would not be possible.
In addition, you would also have to check the DB connection settings (through the config tool) and make sure the virtual hostnames are used there too.

P.S. the logs of the startsap are generated in the \usr\sap\<SID>\SCS<nr>\work\sapstart.log.

Can't able to start the weblogic server7.0 version

Hi there, I want to work out some ejb examples on weblogic server7.0 release and the installed an evaluation version on my pc, if I want to start my default server where can I sart the default server, when I have gone to start/programs/BEA Weblogic Platform 7.0/weblogic server 7.0/
there I'm seeing three things and I'm confused whcih one is the default server, I'm seeing Server tour and examples, about weblogic server7.0, and weblogic builder, and please tell me which one is the default weblogic server here , and if I want to place my jar files where shall I place them to be picked up by the weblogic default server, cause I can't see any wlserver/config/mydomain/applications directory in this version please help me to start a default server and where to place my things,
any help would be appreciated.
