Not Allowing "Next Patch" To Change Set

I'm trying to solve a simple problem with MainStage 3. I've got a number of sets with multiple patches in each, and I want to be able to switch back and forth between patches within sets without the danger of accidentally switching sets, since each set is on an individual click track. I've mapped different keys to change patches and to change sets, but if I get to the last patch within a set I'd like the key that cycles to the next patch to not do anything.
Basically, I want to switch sets only by using the key mapped to do specifically that, and I'd like the keys mapped to change patches not to have the ability to move from set to set. Is this possible?

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

Current order status xxxx does not allow goods receipt (Message no. C6009)? is this the message?
This will not allow you to do GR for production order when you activate status profile "SAT1" in the production order. After that when you confirm order it will automatically assign next user status i.e. "SAT2" (if not assign it manually in CO02) it will allow you to do GR for that production order.

System does not allow to me to change collect method in RZ20

I Have the problem with my SAP R/3.
I have productive, based on 4 application servers. In RZ20, alerts of MTE Operating System for one application server is not work. In nodes properties I have collect method "CCMS_Cpu_Collect_c". On other application servers - "CCMS_OS_Collect". System does not allow to me to change collect method
What will I do? Please help me.

Hello Victor,
the data collection method CCMS_OS_COLLECT is an ABAP report as you can see in the method overview in rz21. This report is used to collect the operating system data and send it to the CCMS.
As soon as you install the sapccm4x agent on an instance the agent will take over the data collection for the operating system subtree (this is also described in [note 522453 |http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/522453]. Important: point 4. of the note!). I.e. as soon as the agent is responsible for the data collection you will see the mentioned CCMS_Cpu_Collect_c.
If the MTE doesn't display data you should check if the agent is running.

Giving multiple assignments alongside a 'Next Patch' assignment crashes set

I can reproduce the behavior whereby creating a button in Layout mode and then, in Edit mode, assigning it with a 'Next Patch' assignment and something else ('Stop' specifically), will crash the set if you try to use it.
Has anyone else had this experience?
My workflow is that I have several patches representing songs. Each patch has separate playback plugins with grouped tracks. I have a master 'Play/Stop' action button assigned at the conert level to start each track. When the song ends on a patch, the play/stop button never turns off, and the master clock keeps running. I wanted to assign a 'Stop' assignment to my 'Next Patch' assignment so that when I click to go to the next song, it both stops the existing patch and then takes me to the next.

I finally got the solution from a friend at the TSR forum. It was a problem with QUicktime 7.2. I needed to install this update:

When trying to make purchase I am asked to improve apple security by setting up 3 questions. I have tried many times with out success. Apple always returns an error without identifying what the error is. Will not allow me to advance without setting up

Apple is requiring the establishment of 3 security question (increase online security), but coninuously gives an error without identifying the error. I am not allow to proceed or bypass and cannot use any apple store features.

IMac Message not allowing preference or account changes. These options are "greyed" out.

How can I get Message to allow changes to preferences and/or accounts? These are both greyed out and can't be accessed. My Message icon show that I have messages, but the messages do not show when icon is selected. Everything I have read says to go to preferences, but I menu doesn't allow it.

You will notice that in System Preferences > iCloud there is also no listing of iTunes, App Store, Game Center or FaceTime that may also be using the same ID.
iCloud is a service and mostly shows the items that can be Synced to other Macs using the same ID or the iOS devices doing the same.
So PhotoStream is on the Net (in the cloud) so to speak and not on you iPhone but you can show the pics (or at least the last 1000) to people on your iPhone.
Similarly you Contacts only have to changed in one place and will change on all devices
iMessages uses an Apple ID. It does seem it also has to be an iCloud one (at least since Mavericks and Messages 8.0)
As Yahoo ID are email accounts it will also appear in System Preferences > Internet Accounts and give you the option to have it active in Messages
Whilst it might be your Apple ID and you might use it for the iMessages account you can also use it for an Yahoo Account in Messages and use the Yahoo Instant Messages service.

It should work like this:-
Enter the (Apple) ID you want to use in the iMessages account along with the password you might use for that email ID at Apple (presuming the Apple use the the Yahoo use have different passwords to the ID).
The iMessages Receive section (Messages > Preferences > Accounts) should show just that Apple ID at present.
Then you Enable the Messages app on the iPhone.
Once the Number has verified you can add other Send And Receive IDs. The first tend to be the Apple ID you used on the Mac.
If you restart the Mac version you should get a pop up telling you what IDs (Apple ID and iPhone number) the iPhone is using.
You Have to Accept this Pop up to have the Mac add the iPhone Number to it's Receive At list (And to the Start Conversation From drop down).
If this was not accepted remove the Apple ID from the iPhone (it is worth double checking the iPhone can still send to the Apple ID)
Place th iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minute to Break with Server.
The "restart" the iPhone and the App.
If the iPhone number is verified then Add the Apple ID
Restart the Mac version (It makes the pop ups appear just a little quicker)
Accept the pop ups.

On going to a new item on say news page a bar opens like in windows and reads Firefox has prevented this page from opening. then farther along the bar there is an allow button. I don't want to have to click each time. Thanks. john

System setting does not allow changes to be made to object LSYS

Im trying to create the process chain in BW-Production System . Like im trying to delete the PSA data for one datasource in BI7.0 .
Im using the 'Delete requests from the PSA' process type in the process chain . When i try to give the datasource name and source system name in the variant of 'Delete requests from the PSA' process type and save them , then it is saying that
System setting does not allow changes to be made to object LSYS
Why it is saying like that . But i can able to include the other process types in the process chain .

Dear Mohammed,
Since you are trying to create process chain in production system.
Normally production system wont be open for development at any time. Why the system settings does not allow changes was, your production is not modifiable state.
Check the settings in SE06. system would be non-modifiable for sure.
in SCC4, settings ->"changes to the cross customizing objects would be not allowed"
These two settings/configurations would not allow any development or changes or edit or create in production.
Please check with your basis folks and proceed further.

Error "Status change from READY to COMMITTED is not allowed"

Dear experts,
once again SAPs workflow environment drives me crazy with mysterious error messages.
Some time ago I posted a question here concerning the problem that I cannot put back a workitem by using function module SAP_WAPI_PUT_BACK_WORKITEM due to a lock on this workitem which has been set right after it has been double clicked in the business workplace workflow inbox:
[How can I put back a workitem before I'm back in the business workplace?;
Since I do not want to dequeue the lock for the workitem in my application (where the user finds the appropriate detail information along with the function buttons for approval, rejection and F3/BACK) I tried it with calling a POPUP_TO_CONFIRM ("Do you want to put back the workitem?") directly from within the BO-method, right after returning from the FM that called my application. From here (the popup then shows in front of the business workplace instead of the application) the locking doesn't seem to be a problem any more! But whatever I do after the users decision to put the WI back - calling the FM SAP_WAPI_PUT_BACK_WORKITEM or trying to leave the method with macro EXIT_CANCELLED - leads to the error message "Status change from READY to COMMITTED is not allowed" and the workitem changes to status ERROR, too. This message seems to be bull***t, since the status of the item is supposed to go back to READY.
Does anybody have experience to help me on that ?

Ah, sorry, there was so much talk about user decisions that I assumed you were using a standard decision task.
Still, I would be extra careful of changing the way workflow usually works because you have an unknown target audience that are based on the standard.
The standard SAP philosophy is quite simple: cancel/F3 or do nothing and it stays reserved. If you do not want it reserved, you need to perform an action. This is based on a majority of processes: in most cases when you execute a work item you will also be the one who is going to completed it. Replacing it is the lesser used of the two alternatives, therefore it is the only one that requires an action on the part of the user.
Again, this is intended as constructive input. Strange quirks and unusual behaviour tend to add a black mark to software if they do not make things easier to use. In many environments users are not even aware of the reserve/replace business, so there you would be adding an additional layer of complexity.
Personally I would find an exit popup annoying as a regular workflow user - regular decisions can be approved with one click, or I can back out with a single click if I need to make a phone call or look up some info before approving - but with this new-fangled thing I've got an extra button to click and an extra thing to think about. This is especially the case in a payment approval scenario where you may have users in some departments who may approve hundreds of payments each week.
My suggestion would be to leave it like that. By all means put an option into the user decision to put it back or to 'un-reserve' it (and loop round if the user chooses it). That way you are adding value and not clicks.

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN2-Status does not allow you to change certain data

Hi Gurus,
I am uploading the DIR attached files for the Documents in PLM. We have a custom program written to upload the attached files. When I tried to upload the file I am getting the BAPI Return error as "Status does not allow you to change certain data". The status of all the documents is "RL"
File format is
Doc type Document No Rev File Name
JPS 0021581PS, X, /in/PLM/JAPAN/Files/0021581PS.xls
Please help me I need to upload the data.

Check the status network for your doc type in config. You may find that the current status may not allow you to make changes. You may need to change the current status to another status before you can make the changes you would like.
The config settings will tell you the status you may set in order to make your changes, if they are allowed.

Not allowing changes to payment terms after the AR document is released to accounting

Hi,
Anyone know the best way to not allow a user to change the payment terms after the AR document has been created in AR? This is affecting aging because users are changing the payment terms without permission. What is the best way to control that?

Frequent change in payment terms is something business should introspect. Payment term is decided and agreed upon with customer/vendor during the initial stages.
However from IT perspective, it can be controlled keeping some system controls.
1. Limit the Customer master change transaction to very limited users or to a manager. There should be internal approvals by management for business to make a change. Bring this into force.
2. Regularly run the customer master change reports and provide the trend to management to restrict or limit the changes.
3. Use Change Message control for master data by providing necessary warnings or error messages when master data is changed.
4. In the sales order level, there is every possibility to change the payment term. Based on the user authorization get the payment term field greyed out and provide change access to accounting or to a specific user upon approvals. This is a bit complex process but I feel this brings up controls and stops the process from exploitation.
5. Also activate 'Sensitive fields' KNB1-ZTERM for payment term field in customer master. This brings up another layer of confirmation of change by other users.
6. Another back route, not recommended in all cases, is to subsititute the required payment term during accounting document posting.

As per the client requirement, we have assigned the three level status profile to in inquiry process like Block status, Review and approve status.
Block status-It is initial status. After save the document it will be in block status
Review status u2013It is the 2nd status. After review of authorized person, it will be changed as review status.
Approve status- If everything is correct, then higher authority will give the approval for same and will change the status.
Here client requirement is after approval of same inquiry document, it should not allow to anybody to change anything (quantity, material, any addition) in same document with va02 Tcode. Need your support if anything possibility is there for same requirement.

I had Acrobat XI Pro Trial installed on W8.1, and I had to uninstall it because issues with MS Office 2010. Now I try to reinstall Acrobat and It does not allow me to use the trial version anymore even it was not over. What to do??

Well, I had installed in my new computer a trial version from Acrobat XI Pro, but I had issues with Microsoft Word 2010, since it did not allow me to save changes on my file. I uninstalled it from my computer before the trial period was over, and then, after I solved the issue with Office, I wanted to get it back for a time, but the installer does not allow me to choose Trial Version. I can reach that screen where you choose between key and trial, but once I press trial and click on next, it does absolutely nothing at all.
I have tried to manually delete folders, and I even used CC Clean to make a registry set up, but nothing out of that is working for me at all, and it keeps happening. I have no really idea what to do, and I kinda need to use Acrobat immediately for a file.

The trial can only be loaded 1 time as far as I know. You could try http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove any left over parts of the Acrobat folder, and reboot. Then try an install again, but my guess is you will have to purchase Acrobat at this point.

Cenvat Code is not allowed

I have created a tax code with the combination of BED and VAT where the rate for BED is 0 and the rate for vat is 4. This tax code is not visible in the purchase or sale document in the list of tax codes. Idf i copy the tax code and paste, it shows CENVAT Code is not allowed.
Is there any setting for such tax codes? I'm using SAP 2007B PL 12.

Can you check "Lock for use" in tax codes - Setup window. If the tax code under mode lock for use its not showing Sales Order & Purchase order documents so plzzz remove the lock for use check button in Administration -- Setup-Financials-Tax ---Tax Codes.
