Not applicable message
In attempting to re-DL LR5 there is a message "Not applicable" in the DL box. It is under three years and I believe I DL'd originally and then again after a PC crash which has happened again. What are my options? There are two other DL's in "Multiple languages" still available. Do they include English?

I can't see this thread in the discussions list, only my original post, and your emailed notifications, so don't know quite whether/where this will appear.
Anyway, last night I tried the download on my Mac Pro and it kept failing with
the "not applicable" message. Tried it on my MacBook Pro and it installed fine.
This morning the Adobe Updater offered it on the Mac Pro and it installed fine.
So a bit of a small mystery, but all OK now.
Yea, there is some weird stuff happening with these Forums. Omke told me about two posts of mine that were blanks, so you're not the only one...

KB2992611 "not applicable" error message when installing on server 2012R2
Attempting to patch my 2012r2 servers for the new KB2992611 schannel critical bug, see: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS14-066. I downloaded the 2012r2 version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44643
and then attempt to install on several 2012r2 servers.
I get a message saying "The update is not applicable to your computer." on every single 2012r2 standard server I have tried. Anyone else seeing this or have any ideas how to resolve? The 2012 version of the patch went on just fine to
a 2012 setup.
Edit: also seeing the same thing when I try to install the appropriate version for my windows 8.1 desktop client.You probably will need to call it in. Almost all files are marked not applicable. Security / Hotfix support is always free.

I've been having issues with an external Esata drive. Instead of being seen as a removeable drive, it is seen as a hard drive. This has caused us nothing but problems since our full disk encryption software automatically starts to encrypt
the drive rendering it useless.
The real problem I'm having is installing the Hot Fix, KB979344, for this issue. when tring to install, I get the message, "this update is not applicable to your computer" I've looked and this hot fix doesn't seem to be part of SP1, but
I could be missing it. Any thoughts?

This hotfix is already contained in Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
Please add the registry key to check if the issue persists. (For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. )
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Storage
Create a DWORD Value, name SATAHotplugPolicyOverride,
set 1 in Value Data.
Restart the computer to check if it works.

Installing kb2992611 - error message "the update is not applicable".
Hi,
When installing offline patch for kb2992611 on my windows server 2008 R2 enterprise server, I get the error message stating that the update is not applicable to my computer.
On another windows server 2008 R2 enterprise server I am able to install this patch successfully.
Anyone have an idea as to what I should do?

The kb2992611 system require is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, you must install service pack 1 first, if you can not install SP1 due to application limit, you can disable the
TLS 1.2 and choose others version of TLS.

ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable'
ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable' - Running Photoshop CC on OSX 10.7.5
Anyone seen this or have any ideas for a fix?
I also have my legacy CS6 installed on the same Mac - tried installing ACR 8.4 CS6 RC and that fails with the same dialogue box from AAM
The DNG converter installs no issue.

Chris.Do you have some other software, like Photoshop Elements 12 on your system that would generally also be compatible with ACR 8.4 final but isn’t compatible with the RC because the RC’s only for PS users?
I installed the RC the same day it was released on my computer that has PS-CS6 & PS-CC with Windows 7 and it worked ok, so the update generally works, but something isn’t on your systems.
Are you up-to-date with your PS-CC version, which seems to be 14.2.1:

I tried to install Photoshop_CS6_13_0_5_upd.dmg and got:

Basically, all you have to do is update the Application Manager (if your installation was like mine, I was still on v.6... it's up to v.9 now. Go here for the update: Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Macintosh : Adobe Application Manager and run it... when done, launch Photoshop and check for updates.

Generally there is a file list with a hotfix/patch that gives you the version number of the affected files. You can go through those files to see that you have the latest files. The problem is finding the actual patch that updated those files.
Without going through lots of patches, it is hard to find which patch made the hotfix obsolete.

Have anyone faced this error, could suggest me why.
The CSV Files failed on Sender Channel and moves to NFS error path and in the log it says as below.
Error: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Could not insert message into duplicate check table. Reason: com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlTransactionRollbackException: DB2 SQL ErrorHi Uma - is that a duplicate file? have you enabled duplicate file check in sender channel?

I have uninstalled and re-installed Xcelsius with the same results.
Also, when I open Crystal Reports 2008, the "Crystal Reports 2008 SP1 - Software Manager" opens and shows an update available - SP2. When I try to install the update, it downloads and then displays a message the this update is only available for Crystal Reports 2008 SP1. I believe that is my current version.
After some research, I believe my CR Runtime app may be a different version than what Xcelsius.exe is expecting, but I don't know how to check or fix that. Any help is appreciated.Hi
I think I've managed to fix this error. I compared the TreeBtnExtDll.dll in my Xcelsius directory on the machine that wasn't working and one that was and found that the broken machine was using an older and smaller version of TreeBtnExtDll.dll. 89k and a date in 2008 I think. So I copied my newer version which was 109 k and dated 11/2009 into the C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius directory of the broken machines and now xcelsius appears to be working fine.
I had lots of trouble installing the SP3 release because of the media issues so maybe the install wasn't complete.
Anyway, I hope this helps you

I have gone through previous posts with message no. I got below solutions but those applicable belongs to EHP 600 but ours is EHP 605.
1. Note: 930365 not applicable for EHP 605
2. Note: 887794 correction process according to note applies max EHP 600.

I'm trying to install a "Windows Update Standalone Installer" file (Windows6.1-KB3032323-x64.msu) along with other .msu files and I keep getting the same message: "The update is not applicable to your computer". The server is a
virtual machine and is also the vCenter server for the system, so I REALLY don't want to mess this installation up and break the system but the installation is needed and mandatory. How can I go about installing these .msu files.
*Note* The system is located in a classified environment so it doesn't have a connection to the outside (unclassified) world. But I'm able to have the .msu files placed on the system at any time.

Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Windows update not applicable
HELP!!! We have 3 Windows 2008 R2 servers that were updated with SP1 back in March. Last month we noticed on our Retina audit that the three servers were missing several Windows critical patches that were released after SP1 was applied. WSUS did not report
any missing patches for those three servers. When we tried to manually apply those missing patches we get the error message "This update is not applicable to your computer". After some troubleshooting we found that KB976932 (Service Pact 1) is not listed in
installed updates. However, system property shows Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition. We are certain that SP1 did NOT come pre-installed. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer detected no missing patches. Microsoft System Readiness Tool CBA logs show no
errors. Ran SFC /SCANNOW and found no error also. Force install of the patches with command switch /wuforce, did not work we still get the same message patch not applicable. We compared our servers that are fully patched running Windows 2008 R2 SP1 against
the three unpatched servers and found several dll and sys file's version to be different. Those dll and sys files are also the files that would have been updated by the critical patches. The only thing different between the fully patched Windows 2008 R2 SP1
servers and the unpatch are the unpatch have no public internet access. We confirmed patches that were required prior to SP1 push are installed: KB2454826 KB2534366 KB2533552 KB976902 Confirmed: Partition with Windows 2008 R2 SP1 installed is set to "ACTIVE"
Windows Event Collector service is started Windows Modules Installer is started Uninstalling SP1 is not possible because the KB976932 is not listed and verified "not hidden" in installed updates list. Rebuilding the three servers are the very last option,
since they are critical. Other than the missing patches.... the servers are running great, we have no reported issues with the three servers. Attempt to reinstall SP1 failed after reboot, error 0X800F0826. If anyone has experience this problem and know of

Based on the current situation, please run the System Update Readiness Tool as Meinolf Weber mentioned and check the CheckSUR.persist.log for the corrupted
files. After that, please refer to the following Microsoft TechNet article for how to repair them.
