Not being able to download App in App Store
Hi, I am not being able to download any application via the App store. I get the error "The network connection could not be made". I tried to download using different sign-in accounts even then faced the same issue. I also tried to use iPhone for app download, there I face "Unable to download application" error. Kindly help.

Seriously unhappy that there is no update for 3g. Now I cant download apps that I need.
The last upgrade that was available for the 3G was November 2010. No further updates have been available for the 20 months since then. Why have you waited so long to complain?

regarding not being able to make an in-app purchase: all it says is that i can't make In-app purchases at this time. Any suggestions? I'm new to the apple world. I just switched from an Android today.
Contact iTunes store support for this. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ and click the blue link next to the green shopping bag. Follow the steps and send them an email explaining your issue.

I want to download a picture from my hotmail email, but it keeps reverting back to the email pic. Wont download it. I had to go to my Yahoo account to do this! When I went to the feedback for the New beta version FireFox 4 I was told I had to install the beta version - WHICH I already have! HELP

I am unable to download update apps, ANY apps. Every time I am updating or trying to download an app. it always
notifies me that "There is a billing problem with the previous purchase.". Now, if there really was a normal problem,
the normal explanation would be: "you do not have enough funds on your debit card" OR "the debit card informa-
tion is incorrect". WRONG! I DO have funds on my debit card and I DO have it written down correctly. What is
the problem? That's why I am here, to find out.

2. Yes, I did confirm.
3. Since I managed to purchase other products with the same debit card and, obviously, the same billing information, I considered that there are no issues.

Issues with not being able to download my epub book to ipad.
I recently had an epub3 book created for download. It is meant to be compatable with the ipad.
I can download it to ibooks on my macbook with ease.
Yet anyone who tries to download it directly to their ipad struggles. The most common problem is that they are told that it has downloaded, yet it disappears and they can't find it.
I recommend that they update to the latest ibooks software. Still makes no difference. The only way they seem able to download it is if they download it to their computer and then transfer it to their ipad!
I don't own an ipad so I am not able to go through this process myself. If anyone can share any insight on what might be going wrong, I would really appreciate it.

i have recently purchased a Surface RT because i liked the idea of the PC/Tablet but now im beginning to think i screwed myself over. for instance i cant download itunes well... i can it goes through the entire download and at the very end it tells me that i cant run this on my PC asnd wants me to get evrything out of the windows store. i dont understand this i still have a desktop feature that looks and is like any other computer but why can i not download itunes? also i downloaded the RT remote app which is supposed to access itunes but it as to be up and running on your desktop I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS! please help
It is not possible to install iTunes on a Windows RT device. The RT device is not a full scale computer OS.

You are not talking to Apple here. Contact Apple using Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -
Firefox and YouTube do not work well together. USE EXPLORER INSTEAD to download videos.

I just now did exactly as you recommended. Result? No change.
Even after trashing the files and restarting and everything else, the Activity Window and YouTube behave exactly as they did before.
(I had actually previously tried something very similar to your recommendation, and it didn't have any effect then either.)

Ramifications of Not Being Able to Download NetPro...
This problem just goes on and on. Having experienced problems with NetProtectPlus stalling every time I tried to download it, I have successfully (I thought) downloaded MS Security Essentials instead. I have sent myself an email with a Word attachment, and every time I try to open the attachment, I get a popup window saying "Scanning for Viruses" and arrows going round and round in circles, and that's it. It just stays that way, doesn't stop unless I force it to, doesn't open the attachment. I know there is no problem with a virus on the computer I sent the email from. What is going wrong? Can anyone help? I realise this is a problem with a MS product not a BT product, but the only reason I am trying to use Security Essentials is that I can't download NetProtectPlus.
Assistance from those with greater knowledge than me is, as ever, greatly appreciated.Uninstall both netprotect and MS security free thingy.

Go to your User Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.

Restore the phone as new. Wait a couple of days before adding any apps to see if it's running ok. Then, add apps a couple at a time so that, if any of them cause issues, you'll have an idea which one.
