Not clear how to make button iconic

i am not clear how to make button in forms iconic and where that icons come.where i have to kept that specific icon.what is the path of the directory where to keep image

Just to add a little on what Gerd said, for web deployed forms your icon files must be of type .gif
You cannot have .ico files in web deployed forms

If you're using client/server technology, you also specify the UI_ICON registry and put your icons under that directory. In client server you can use .ico files

I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.

Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
(formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
(after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!

I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder. Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
     <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code. Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names. It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

Every tutorial I have looked at says that you click on a + sign in the lower right corner and then make your entry. I do not have a + sign on my screen. Can some one help me.

How to make an icon image using Photoshop

I found out how to do this recently so I decided that I wanted to make a tut for those who don't know how to make an icon image. This icon image is for the libraries tab on your computer. Under the libararies tab there is Music, Pictures, Documents, and Photos
First you will need the ICO (Icon image format) Format extension for photoshop which can be downloaded here:

Once you have that all set you can now launch photoshop to create your icon image. Once you have launched it, create a new document with the size as in the image below.

Create the image you want. I used a simple one by using the custom shape tool by pressing "U" on your keyboard and with the
basic blending options.

The reason why the image is pixelated is because it is an icon image. Since the image is only 256x256 pixels when you zoom in on it that will get you the pixely result. The reason why I zoomed in is so you can see it. But don't worry this is no the end result. Just continue reading and you will see.
So once you have created the icon go ahead and press
file>save as>(under format choose the ICO)>and choose the name that you want to name it. And save it in your C: drive. You will see why to save it in your C: drive in a sec.

So now that you have created the icon and saved it now you can create the new library.

Name the library whatever you want I named it "Sample" for tutorial purposes. Notice how it gives you a default boring icon image for your library.

So now once you have created and named your library now it is time to get the icon image into place.
Go to computer/c: Drive/users/YOU/ And now once you have reached this area you will need to access a hidden folder named "appdata" to do so press "Alt" then a menu bar will show. Click
tools>folder options>and view. Find the option to view hidden folders then press apply then ok. Now we shall continue so AppData>Roaming>Microsoft>Windows>Libraries
Now you should see all the libraries including the one you just created.

Once you have reached your destination then open a new text document with notepad and drag the library you just created in notepad. The result should look like this:

once you have reached this point click at the end of the second to last line down then press enter and enter in this information

Once you have entered that information go to file>save and the icon image should appear on the library you created.

It is Windows only because all those screen shots are exclusively Windows, the file structure and paths do not resemble those of the Mac in the least. As a Mac user, there's nothing I could take from your tutorial. Sorry,
No drives named with letters like C: on the Mac, for instance. No backward slashes either, ever. No such paths either. No "Notepad" on the Mac, we use TextEdit; but such a text editor is not remotely needed on the Mac to make and/or edit icons. Etc.
Those folders are not even called "Libraries" on the Mac… Nothing resembling your tutorial at all.
The icons in the Finder's Sidebar are not customizable at all in recent version of OS X.

Not necessarily. That only works as stated if you have one of the most recent MBP's that has a built-in HDMI port.
If the MBP only has a Thunderbolt or miniDisplayPort, you need an appropriate adapter cable and even if you use an HDMI adapter or cable to connect to your HDTV there is no guarantee it will carry audio. You have to determine if your specific MBP model supports audio out through its miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output, and whether the adapter does likewise.

There is no way to activate the company code field. If your Controlling Area and Company Code have one to one Assignment, then Company code is defaulted from the Controlling Area. However, if multiple Company Codes are assigned to one Controlling Area, then Company Code becomes a mandatory field in the Cost Center master data
Also, in case you have multiple company codes assigned to one controlling area, please check the setting of the Controlling Area in Configuration and see if have selected "Cross Company Code Cost Accounting" . Also, check if you have assigned all the company codes to the controlling area

I cannot use the software.. so you need to figure out where the problem is..
But let me suggest.. the Mac is not the issue and likely the info from Sony is also up the creek.. they make PC's after all.
It is far more likely the camera is having issues with the wireless network.
Do you know you have a connection to the home network on the camera.. ?? You have an IP address and some internet or local access at least?
How you will discover those things is by fiddling.. but if you can tell me what wireless AP you are using that will help.

I got a JTextField. I want to test the entered data in JTextField is eight length. If the data is of length eight then i want to enable two buttons. How to make it enable? I am getting the length eight, but the buttons are not enable. What listeners I have to use.

Create a class that extends KeyAdapter. Add a field that is an array of buttons. Override the keyTyped(KeyEvent e) method to use getSource() to access the text area, check the length of the text, and if > 8, go through the array and enable the buttons in the array. Then, when you create the text area, create an instance of your listener, passing it an array of the two buttons you want to enable, and then use addKeyListener(yourKeyListener) to add your key listener to the text area.

To add to my original question: I had a 1st generation ipad and 32GB was more than enough storage now I'm having trouble making movies, adding media, etc. I have bought another 15GB of storage on I cloud. Can I put all of my apps on i cloud?

To answer your question, you could remove your apps and then download them again as needed. Your purchased apps are part of what is stored in iCloud and purchased apps do not count against the allotment anyway - As far as I know.
You would want to backup to iCloud before you delete the apps. If it were me, I would also back up and sync with iTunes - I still use iTunes and I back up to both iCloud and iTunes.
The suggestion that James made would be OK for bringing the movies with you on the trip .... But you need to be able to use WiFi in order to use the device and the way that I read your question, you want to download movies to watch on the flight. So that will not work on the airline flight. It would store the content for later viewing but won't work on the flight. That is my understanding of the GoFlex drive, but you would have to investigate it further.

How to make buttons work in drop down movieclip in flash???

      I am trying to make an index page with buttons for a photography site. the entire page is built in flash so far. My question is that I have created a drop down menu that is a Movieclip with 5 buttons. I can not seem to assign an external web page to each buttons that are under the movie clip drop down menu.   Is this a possible??   The Movie clip is run by mouse-over the word "studio Gallery" button. This drops down the 5 gallerbuttons (Portrait, children, wedding, Artistic Babies, etc...). In Flash 8 Pro I know I can assign an external web page named children on the main page but how do I assign these to the buttons in the drop down once the movieclip is made. Is this where I need to use folders with extra layers in the folder to make it work??
In case you can not tell I am new to this and have been teaching my self with "Training from the Source" and also "Visual Quickstart Guide" so go easy on me 8-)

for this error
        The clip works but when the mouse rolls out it does not close
the dropdown menu I have included the drop down file here also.   I will
be using this to add the resulting "swf" file to the area on my larger
fla to get the menues working but I don't want the menu to stay open
once someone rolls over it if they want to goto an other spot on the page.
I'm 53 yrs old and can not afford much more Hair pulling I will be bald
if the little stuff wins....

What you should do is search Google using "AS2 drop down tutorial". That should produce a few results that you can use to guide you thru the process.
I cannot tell clearly from your description so far, but it sounds like your movieclip contains the buttons and has a rollover assigned to it. That rollover will block interaction with the buttons. So your best bet is to get a hold of a tutorial that will walk you thru the process so that you can get your buttons working the way you want.
