Not Displaying Options tab while Checking Global Consistancy in OBIEE 11G

Hi,
We recently upgraded from 10G to 11 G . Here When I checked Global Consistency I got some Errors but they are negligible . I need to disable those errors but am not finding that option .
Please give me the soln.

Hi,
11g does not allow beginning or trailing spaces in logical names within the RPD. This causes errors in this release instead of warnings as in OBIEE 10g.I would suggest you to close the window.

Error when Check global consistency: Physical tables have multiple Joins

I have a table that have multiple joins with a dimension in the physical layer, this is a fact table and the dimension is a geograhic dimension, and in the fact table I have three codes, customer geography, account geography and office geography. This is a simple model and is correct for my DWH. However when I want to check global consistency the consistency check manager display the next error (three times):

I have one dim table name team.
In the dim table there are two primary keys like Team key and Team Type key.
In the Fact table there are 4 foriegnkey like
a) Sales team key
b) Sales team type key
c) Trader team key
d) Trader team type key
For this purpose , i am going to create the alias table in the physical layer. Can any body explain to me the whole process

Rich text box used in Infopath Form not displaying option to get images from Computer

Hello,
We have used "Rich text box" in Infopath Form which is not displaying option to get images from Computer.
Options available are : From Address, From SharePoint
But if we Rich text box in list, then it works fine with "From Computer" option.
can you please help me out to get this option.

Hi,
From your description, there is no “From Computer” option to get images with rich text box in InfoPath form.
Per my knowledge, by design there are “From Address” and “From SharePoint” options without “From Computer” option in rich text box in InfoPath form. As a workaround, you can develop a custom InfoPath Rich Text box to do it.
About developing a custom InfoPath control, I suggest you create a new thread on the forum “Visual Studio Tools for Office”, more experts will assist you with InfoPath development.

Warranty Counters Not Displaying in Customer Warranty Check

Dear All
More then two Characterstics for service in warranty master are not displaying in my warranty check when i try to check the warranty for serial numbers.what i have done is
1.Create Characterstics as numeric value.
2.Define warranty counter in customizing.
3.Define new Customer Master warranty and assign these Charaterstics to service.
Only two line items are displayed in my warranty check

My warranty counter is time dependent it means that i dont have to use measuring point and measuring document based on the following SAP help :
"There are time-dependent and performance-dependent warranty counters:
The indicator for time-dependence is set in Customizing, then the warranty counter is time-dependent. In this case, you must create a characteristic of the same name, which has a unit of the u201Ctimeu201D dimension, in the class system.
The system can use this to determine from the warranty start date and the value that was stored in the master warranty for this counter, whether the counter check is still valid for the key date."

Firefox sometimes does not display my tabs along the menu bar when two or less are open - is this a bug?

When I have less than three tabs open after having more open, Firefox does not display the tabs along the menu bar. This means I can't see tabs when I have two open. Is this a glitch?
Note: I am aware that I can set Firefox to always show the tabs, but I do not like this setting for when I only have one tab opened.

Check Global Consistency Warning

Hi,
Greetings.
I have exported an EUL from the discoverer and got the RPD. Using that RPD I have created a Repository and it is fine till here.
But, when I try to check the global consistency after defining the Primary Keys and Foriegn Keys of the tables, it is showing a Warning as follows
"WARNINGS:GLOBAL: [39028] The features in Database 'AG_TEST' do not match the defaults. This can cause query problems."
So, Please someone help me resolve the issue.

Its not advisable to change DB features. Check whether the DB you are using is 10g or 11g.
if its 10g you should get this warning.
Most of the time you should not have a problem.
To ensure this you can deploy and do a through testing checking whether the results are obtained as expected. Also check the back end sql issued by OBI server.
wrongly changing the DB features will impact the server behavior and can bring erratic queries. ( yet you might not see issues in consistency check)
If you know what to change in DB features and know the impact of it then its fine. If not, better use the RPD as is as what you received.
Besides this is just a warning.

Fn+F5 not displaying options - Satellite A60

Two days ago when I used Fn+F5 I could scroll through the options and choose the different display options. Yesterday when I did the same thing the options were not available. Both times I was connecting to a projector. Rebooting does not help.
Is there a way to reset the defaults? Perhaps I hit a key and changed them? Has this happened to anyone else? Just looking for a solution.
I am running XP, on Satellite A60.

Looks like the Toshiba Hotkey Utility and Hotkey Utilitys for Display Devices stop working.
Go to the Toshiba driver page, download the utilities and reinstall it!
PS; I would recommend firstly removing the old tools from the OS. Then reboot the notebook and install Hotkey Utility, reboot again and follow the installation with Hotkey Utilitys for Display Devices.

Firefox does not display item description while in EBAY.

In Firefox I log on to EBAY. Any item that I call up does not display the description nor did IE 8. I upgraded IE 8 to IE 9 and EBAY now works in IE 9.I have set off the forged wed site message. I have installed latest Firefox, Realplayer and Flash player. I am running Kaspersky firewall, and several malware scan and registry fixers.
The operating system is a current Windows 7.
Ebay says it is not their problem yet the symptoms occurred when they changed how they display the description for an item.
Need help.

Few values of report column do not display in report while applying filter

There are 6 drill filters applied on the report to filter out the report column data. Few values of the report are not displaying in the report when using drill filter. Same issue is with report filter too. If filters are removed then values are appearing in the report. We are using version BO XI R2 & Java runtime JRE 1.4v. It doesn't look issue is with Java version because only few specific data of the report column are not shown in the report when using filter on the data. Example: One of Report data column contains below values: 24.2, 26.9, 120.1, 230, 274.9, 275.8, 333.2 Report is displaying all these values when there is no filter on any data. But report doesn't display data when applying filter on 274.9 or 120.1 howver filter on other values 24.2, 26.9, 230, 275.8, 333.2 are working fine.

I think i know what your problem is.
Although in table view your 2 requests combine perfectly and show separate results in pivot view BI unfortunaterly adds them up.
One work around would be to go in your criteria add in each request a dummy column. This can be obtained the following way:
1. click on a column to add it in the criteria (it doesnt matter which one)
2. go into the edit formula of that column
3. delete the formula and in its place write 'Dummy Column 1'
Do the same for the second request by adding a "Dummy Column 2'
Now the Pivot Table should also show up correctly

In any of the RPD deployments I'm getting the same error , not for some particular RPD .
FYI , yesterday (before this issue) I had a issue with starting presentation services , so as adviced in forum I replaced the files sawguidstate and sawguidstate.atrin the location:
<Instance_Home>\instances\<instance_name>\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\catalog\<project>\root\system\mktgcache\<name>
with the same files from a backup or from another working OBIEE 11g (11.1.5)instance.

OWA will not display Options Display All Options

We upgraded Exchange 2010 to SP3 the other day.
OWA Users are not able to select OPTIONS > Display All options.
The browser just reloads and displays no additional options.
Thi shas been tested with Chrome, IE , Mac, Win 7 and Win 8.
All with the same outcome!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Have you tried to recreate the OWA virtual directory?
If you haven't, please try to recreate the OWA virtual directory to check result.
If the issue persists, please check the application log to see if there is any related error message.
Please check if Outlook Web App is running in the Light Version.
Besides, please check the setup log and make sure you upgrade to SP3 successfully.

Favicons not displaying in tabs, but showing fine in the address bar and with bookmarks.

We had a power outage this evening while I was on the computer, and now, all of a sudden, when I open a site in a tab, the tab itself fails to display the site's favicon when applicable, but the icons display without any issue in both the address bar and in bookmarks. Is there any way to fix this without having to reinstall?
The same issue occurred yesterday while reinstalling Firefox after I had to reinstall Windows. But after reinstalling Windows a second time, things worked in Firefox fine, up until said power outage.

Check to see if you have the FavIcon Picker add-on installed. If you do, this is the culprit. I had the same issue and disabling this add-on fixed my problem.

Facebook suddenly not displaying options such as log-out in Safari. 2013 21.5 iMac/ mavericks / all other browsers are fine

Does anyone know of a problem with FaceBook and Safari. For a while it wouldn't run FaceBook at all and now it does but no longer displays the usual login/out, options, page change, etc. on the top blue bar. I have no problem in Opera or the other browsers but prefer to use Safari. Have done some searching but to no avail. I have a feeling it may repair itself but it is a frustration at the present time

This is what I find truly baffling and frustrating, that other people with the same problem are having the issue resolved without hesitation. And I've been going through this for 3 months now.
I did receive a call last Wednesday, 10 Nov. from customer relations, they have finally agreed to replace the screen .. but .. she told me it isn't being replaced under warranty, it was her personal decision, an act of good will, because they value me as a customer ... which is good news, but I find their reasoning rather patronising and a kind of 'round about' way of addressing the problem without admitting to fault on their side.
She also told me that they would only replace the screen this one time only and they couldn't guarantee that the replacement part wouldn't have a similar problem, and if it does then that's too bad ... and this is after they argued that the problem isn't due to a faulty part. The contradiction has been noted and filed!
So .. I was advised to contact the retailer on 12 Nov to arrange taking the iMac in for repair, I waited until the afternoon of that day, and when I called them I was told they hadn't heard anything from Apple, and that their technician was on holidays for another week. I know they have 2 or maybe even 3 technicians there. I didn't say anything at the time as I wanted to keep things 'friendly' in order to get the job done, but I'm noting everything in writing, and if no further progress is made by next Friday (when the tech is due to return) then more calls will be made and letters will be sent.
If I do need to contact them again I will take your advice iMacMan2010 and ask to speak to someone else, preferably higher up the chain.
I'm glad that a resolution is now looking close, but wont be satisfied until I see the repaired computer sitting on my desk. And even then I'll have serious doubts about making any future Apple purchases.

to next page, it will open it in new window as it should do, but
displays no images (apart from my email link) just outlines.
Is it my folder location?? it is c:/mywebsites/mywebfolder
If i open each page directly to view they are all fine just
when i go from my links..
