I had to dump my computer and reintall CS3 everything works
but Photoshop. As long as I dont try to mess with the text it works.
I have downloaded all the updates and it still doesnt help. Any ideas. Thanks for any h

You are right. I just happened to come across the font while using
Illustrator, I removed it and it seems to be working. I had a problem with
that same font before and had removed it but I forgot. By the way it Dejavu
Sans Oblique or something like that. Finally, I have been battling this for
days.

OVi suite do not reponding !

Here you can try to do this workaround:
1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Programs and Features or Add/remove Programs
4. Choose Nokia Nokia Cable Connectivity then Change and repair
5. Do the same for PC Connectivity Solution - Change then repair
6. Reboot computer
7. Try to connect the phone again.

This happens on 4 computer systems, including:
Windows 8 64-bit desktop, FRESH INSTALL
Windows 8 32-bit laptop, FRESH Install
Windows 7 64-bit desktop, REINSTALLED AND PROBLEM PERSISTS
Windows 7 32-bit laptop
I have read long forum postings of people having this problem on many different versions of Acrobat and Reader and tried many of the purpored solutions, none worked.
I would like some expert advice, but more importantly why hasn't Adobe investigated and solved this widely reported phenomenon that has gone on for years? There is no way I would upgrade to Acrobat XI (which some people report has this problem) unless Adobe acknowledges and fixes this.
Where do I report this issue to Adobe?

You need to reset your iPod by holding down Menu and Select for 6-10 seconds...

Your only chance is letting it charge for about 10min, then connecting it in recovery mode, explained here:

If it does not charge at all, you'll have to get it serviced by Apple.

When the about:config setting for swipe are changed to allow changing tabs with swipe it does not repond and performs the default back and forward in browsing history action on the selected window instead of switching tabs. How do I get it to work?

In about:config, the values I changed to for the preference name browser.gesture.swipe.left was Browser:PrevTab and for browser.gesture.swipe.right was Browser:NextTab.
I have the latest synaptics touch pad on my laptop and it supports three touch swipe on windows pcs and on firefox. The about:config setting seem to be specific for MACs and so does not responds to windows changes.

Can't get my Mail app to work. Just have spinning disc and 'Mail not reponding'

The mail app on my Macbook Pro - OS X 10.7.5 - has stopped working. When I open it all I get is a spinning disc. If I choose to force quit the box says Mail not responding. Any ideas gratefully received.

Scheduler not reponding

Hi,
I am having an issue with the Scheduler with release Release 10.1.3.4.
The scheduler tab is not responding when I click on it. I was previously able to schedule an indiviual report. However, now when I go to schedule an individual report, I get the following error:
+Exception [TOPLINK-7001] (Oracle TopLink - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.0.0) (Build 080319)): oracle.toplink.exceptions.ValidationException Exception Description: You must login to the ServerSession before acquiring ClientSessions.+

Restarting the OC4J service resolves this problem and I am able to schedule reports again.
However there is obviously an underlying issue with the scheduler. Has anyone come accross this issue before?

Xfce panel not reponding

Hi, I'm trying to use Xfce. When I start Xfce everything seems to by OK, but after a while panel suddenly stops responding. When I click on some task, the window does not appear or when I change workspace the panel does not reflect the change. Now I have to restart Xfce to fix that (but only temporary for a short time). Please help.

You don't have to restart all of xfce, just the panel.
killall -v xfce4-panel
then restart it in a terminal to catch any errors
xfce4-panel
If you're lucky there'll be errors in the terminal when the panel becomes unresponsive and you can chase them down.

Digitizer not reponding correctly

I have a ipod touch 4g 8gb ,
I have fitted a new screen and it has been working perfect untill a few days ago ,
The bottom of the Digitizer isint responding as if im not pressing it ,
I have checked the digitizer ribbon cable and all looks good could this be a hardware error or a software error ?
Just for info it is NOT Jailbroken .

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem

Firefox sticks when I try to log into my E-Bay account and shows Firefox not reponding, whats happening

When I go to the e-bay web site I can view everything I wish to BUT when I try to log into my account entering my username and password in the boxes nothing happens and if I try to do anything else Firefox Hangs up and nothing I do will clear it. I have to completely shut down my computer including switching off at the mains . I have tried to set Firefox to default but to no avail.
Everything works well with Internet explorer.
I am using Firefox 18 with AVG and Zonelabs running on my computer
Help please to resolve this problem as I would prefer to use Firefox

Thunderbird not reponding; can't open,deleat, mail etc.

I cannot open mail on thunderbird, I click to open an email and nothing happens, I try again and the entire screen becomes shaded in a light gray and the circle symbol appears. I have archived all emails from 2012 and before. Plenty of space. Rebooted several times and still cannot open mail.
It had been working just fine.

Thundrebird is probably not responding because it is still processing emails or there is a background process.

Have you also done the same with the Sent folder?
Do you use IMAP or Pop mail accounts?
Make sure have a backup.
compact all folders.
File > compact folders.
Do you use an anti-virus software?
If yes, what do you use?
Suggest you stop scanning emails.
