Notes tabs giving dump up on save in opportunitiy for PCUI

Hi,
We are facing a problem while saving a text under notes tabe for opportunity in PCUI.
We are getting predefined texts but if we add any text and click the save button we are getting dump.
Dump is coming CL_CRM_BSP_TRACE for method add_screen_structure_tab .
at assign statement.
I have checked the entire configuration every thing is fine I was able to add the text from GUI but when I am doing from PCUI it is giving dump.
Kindly do the needful.

On exit, I am not asked if I want to save existing tabs and it closes all of them without saving. How do I get F-F to save my tabs on exit?

I upgraded from version 3.5 In that version when I wanted to quit for the day, I could hit exit and it would ask me if I wanted to quit or save tabs and exit.
In version 4 when I hit file, then exit, it does not ask if I want to save the tabs that are open, it just closes everything and does not save them. When I restart, I get a new tab window, but none of the other tabs I was working on are there.
I need to keep the tabs I am working on available to me; that is what I liked best about the old version.

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

Office 2007 Attachments giving dump"Buffer table not up to date" in SOCO

Hi SRM Experts,
We have came across a strange issue. DOCX & XLSX doc type attachments are giving a dump " Buffer Table not up to the date" when the Buyer in SOCO press the button "Add to the work area".
This is coming only when there is some SPECIAL CHARACTER used in the description of the attachment e.g. _, -, . / etc etc.
The other attachment types are working fine. i.e. PDF or Doc with NO special characters used in the description are giving NO errors t
IS there any special OSS note for this?
I have already configured all the config settings in DC10, DC20 & DC 30.
Please help us out in this.

Thanks for the help.. But here the problem is not with extension only.
The problem is if there is a special character in the attachment description in Office 2007 doc types like XLSX, DOCX then and then only it is giving dump.
I tested without special characters in description with DOCX file it is working fine.
Please help out as this is becoming serious issue now.

Select any Index type and from dates select just one day or any number of days. Click "Get Details" button. This will open tabular data on loaded page (with link CSV file link at bottom).
When I click this link, it opens CSV file in new tab (in Firefox browser) and does not open download window (just as in case of other file formats like *.zip, *.rar or *.xls).
Right-click of link does not give "save as" or "save file" option.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

FM ARCHIVE_SCHEDULE_JOB giving dump as background job?

Hello Everyone,
I am scheduling a report in SM37 which consists of FM ARCHIVE_SCHEDULE_JOB.
And based on the output of FM, some Ztables are updated and some jobs are created in sm37.
Now, when i debugged the background job, i found out that Fm is giving Dump 'NO_RUNTIME_INFO' since sy-batch is not initial.
Due to which Ztables are not updated but the jobs are created....
Can anyone please help me what should i do on this case?

II have copied the Std workflow WS20000075 into a custom one and in the latest end tab, i have selected "Workitem creaton" for Refer Date/Time field and given 5 mins. I have deactivated the workflow in which i have created the containers for date and time and used "Expresion" for latest end and also commented the zmethod in delegated object. Even now also the job is getting cancelled with the same error.
Any idea why is it happening ?

FAGL_FC_VAL is giving DUMP ERROR

When i execute FCV for G/L Balances, system is giving dump error which i mentioned below.
Runtime Errors         RAISE_EXCEPTION

     Exception condition "CURRENCY_EMPTY" raised.
What happened?
     The current ABAP/4 program encountered an unexpected
     situation.
What can you do?
     Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
     To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
     administrator.
     Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
     at and manage termination messages, and you can also
     keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
     A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLGICV" raised the exception
     condition "CURRENCY_EMPTY".
     Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
     program, processing was terminated.
     Short description of exception condition:
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
function module from the display of active calls.
to correct the error
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"RAISE_EXCEPTION" " "
"SAPLGICV" or "LGICVU02"
"G_CURRENCY_FROM_CT_GET"
or
"SAPLGICV" "CURRENCY_EMPTY"
or

If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
    To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File

As per this dump i've searched SAP Notes in OSS. Unfortunately i couldn't find anything.
But i'm not getting this error when execute FCV for Open Items.
What could be the solution?

Actually no need to maintain currency in the main screen.
This is the problem with non-maintenance of currency for a company code. It will be fixed once we maintain the currency for that Company code.

Re Time Machine "You do not have appropriate access privileges to save file ".002332b7be8a" warning preventing backups--this may help temporarily

My TM is often giving me the "You do not have appropriate access privileges to save file “.002332b7be8a” in folder “Time Machine Backups”" message when I go to select my backup drive. I've reviewed past archived discussions on this and, like many other people, gotten completely flummoxed trying to find a permanent solution. Tried the suggested fixes via Terminal and it didn't help because I couldn't get through the entire process without Terminal telling me it couldn't find a file or drive. When I can find the time, I'm going to try Tinker Tool to reveal where that numbered file actually is and give it another go.
In the meantime, for those who are desperate to get their TM working again to get at least one backup done, I can offer people a temporary solution that's worked for me.
I've found that restarting my iMac somehow resets TM and usually allows it to do at least one of its automatic backups, sometimes several, before it reverts back to failing and producing that same darn warning message. I only want a backup done once a day, so it's not that inconvenient to go this route.
There's another even quicker method (perhaps a little more risky but hasn't been a problem for me yet) that I've been using more recently, and that is to simply unplug the external while the iMac is on (I close system preferences first though, and make sure TM isn't actually doing anything at the time) then plugging it back in and choosing the backup drive again in the TM system preferences window once that drive has shown up again in the Mac's list of devices. I don't get that warning message when I do this. It works every time for me and so far it hasn't lost or corrupted any data on the external, despite the warning message you get on Macs when you unplug a USB device without ejecting it first. However, do this at your own risk--don't flame me if it backfires on you. If you're of the opinion that it's not wise to unplug the device this way, then fine, go ahead and state such in this thread, but be polite about it.
Hope this helps anyone who's frantic to make a backup without having to start from square one with a whole new complete initial backup (can take many hours to make one) on a fresh external drive.
By the way, I've read somewhere that this problem was fixed with Snow Leopard. Whether that's true is another matter. I'm not quite ready to update to 10.6 for other reasons, even though I bought it, and I figure some other people are also still using 10.5.8 out of fear and loathing around the unknowns of installing a new OS too, so that's why I thought I'd post this message (couldn't find a discussion around this that was still active and not archived).

While Creating Implicit enhancement system is giving dump

I am enhanceing standard code with the help of implicit enhancement.. I have done successfully in one system but when i try to do it in other system it is giving me short dump.. And the dump also didn't give any information..
I am working on ECC 6.0 and i assume we can use implicit enhancement points...

So this is not an issue with particular transaction but somehow getting dump ..I doono if there is any OSS notes to be implemented...

Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. Instead, choose File Save.

I am using Mountain Lion (10.8.2) and I was using Adobe Reader version 9. In the past, I've always been able to print to file using the File -> Print dialogue but all of a sudden it stopped working. I read somewhere that installing the latest version of Adobe Reader (version 11) would remove the old printer, so I did so. It took me about an hour on version 11 to even find the pdf print to file option, but I am getting the same message. For what it's worth, when I try print to file from Microsoft Word, I have no problem. I have no idea why things changed all of a sudden, but does anyone have any idea how I can get this working again?

I checked with Adobe. No luck.
Allow me to clarify my problem:
I have Adobe Reader XI. I also use a Mac--imac and a MacBook Pro. My adobe was updated on 12/24. Prior to that point, I could open my print dialogue box and there was a PDF tab on the bottom left. In the drop down menu there were many choices, including but not limited to Open in PDF Preview, Print PDF, Save PDF, email PDF. If I selected one page of 30 pages from a document saved in Adobe, I could extract just that one page and save it or email it, without having to send the entire document. After the update, when I open a PDF file using ADOBE READER XI, and then open the print dialogue box, and follow those same steps, I get the message "Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. Instead, choose File > Save." My question is why is this feature now unavailable and is there a way to fix it?
The answer I got from Adobe was that Adobe never had this function, so it must have been via my print or preview programs..which are apple. Does anyone have any thoughts?

The termination occurred in the ABAP program "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD" in
"F_DOWNLOAD".
The main program was "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD ".
The termination occurred in line 403 of the source code of the (Include)
program "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD"
of the source code of program "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD" (when calling the editor
4030).
Processing was terminated because the exception "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB" occurred in
the
procedure "F_DOWNLOAD" "(FORM)" but was not handled locally, not declared in
the
RAISING clause of the procedure.
The procedure is in the program "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD ". Its source code starts
in line 399
of the (Include) program "ZFIR_ZTABLE_UPLOAD ".

Check if you are doing the following in your program
FIELD-SYMBOLS <T_TAB> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
DATA: g_tabref type ref to data.   "Reference to your table structure
CREATE DATA g_tabref type standard table of (pa_tab).
ASSIGN g_tabref->* to <T_TAB>.
SELECT * FROM (PA_TAB) INTO TABLE <T_TAB>.
Hope this solves your problem.

I think you have a corrupted upgrade. Do you have a backup of your old system?
Here's what you should do for now:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

How do I save a password for a site if I am not prompted by Firefox?

I am trying to save a password for a site that I previously chose not to save one for.
I have tried:
Going into my exceptions list - it's not listed
Going into my saved password list - there's no option to manually add a site
Checking the forums but there is no solution that has worked
In one forum I followed one solution. I opened a new tab, typed in about:permissions and searched for the site. It was remembered and set to 'Allow' password storage but 0 passwords were stored so I could not use the 'Manage Passwords' button. I even tried the 'Forget About This Site' button to see if navigating back to the page would reactivate the password prompt but it did not.

I am having this problem with logging in to my Craigslist account. The autocomplete will enter my user name after typing the first letter, but the password does not, and I'm not prompted allow it to be saved. It used to autocomplete the password, but after I changed the password and deleted the old one in Saved Passwords, it won't save the new one. The bookmarklet doesn't seem to change anything. If this a CL issue, is there a way to circumvent it?
