Notification closing error

Hello QM Guru's
User is trying to close a Nitification from QM02 but system is giving error that Outstanding Tasks Exist.But all task are completed & Successful.When I have checked in table QMSM Table system is showing there are 04 entries whereas in QM02 transaction it is showing only 03 tasks that means user has deleted one task.But the task is not completely deleted & hence it is showing the error that "Outstanding Tasks Exist"  while user trying to close the notification.
How to remove that entry which is deleted by user as he is not able to close the Notification.
Also we have recently developed a new screen in QM02 transaction at the Item level using User EXIT QQMA0008. We have made the mandatory entries in that Screen.
How to resolve this issue?
Awaiting for your valuable reply.
Thanks
Pravin

Hi Praveen,
Your problem in notification basically related to action box task or the task which you have assigned in notification Task Tab, first close the task, when u close the task status of your notification becomes ATCO, when this task is closed than system allows you to close the notification and ur status becomes NOCO ATCO etc.
I hope u understand check all task in ur assigned Task tab or the action box related tasks .

  • Stream closed error while testing a composite in EM

    HI,
    I have deployed a simple composite and wanted to test it in EM. I am getting a stream closed popup, not sure whats wrong?
    I have restarted the server and problem still persists.

    its actually remote server, I am able to deploy a simple HelloWorld composite and even able to see the same in Em.I can even browse through all the composites deployed there by many other people.But problem is when I try to test it its giving the Stream closed error.
    Is it something to do with access permissions, if so i would not have deployed it in first case..
    the pop up error message----
    Stream Closed

    Hi all!
    I get this error, when I choose a result for a notification at the admin site and try to submit it:

    The notification activity has a result type with five result codes driven into different activities.
    The message has the same result type as the notification activity.
    I also tried calling this:
    Wf_Notification.SetAttrText(nid => 82,
    aname => 'RESULT',
    avalue => 'TEST5');
    Wf_Notification.Respond(nid => 82,
    respond_comment => 'bla',
    responder => 'OWF_MGR');
    It gave the same error at Respond.
    What does this error mean? How can I solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    try increasing it to 250 and try again.
    Item type has a max length of 8 and item key has a max > length of 240.Shame on me. :) I corrected, but the error message remains.

  • AppleScript "Syntax Error" notification without errors

    Hello everyone and sorry for my bad english. I'm using OS X 10.6.2. I want to learn AppleScript, but every time when I try to run code I get notification "Syntax Error", but there isn't any error:
    display dialog "Hello, world!"
    Same thing with every code. What can be a problem?

    Your script runs fine for me on 10.9, however you don't seem to be targeting any application, it's not an issue, but you can find some weirdness when you run the script in the editor vs as an Application, script or service etc.
    tell application "Finder"
      display dialog "Hello, world!"
    end tell
    Try the above, see if that works - Finder should 'come to the front', you can 'compile' the script in the editor which should help confirm the syntax is correct. Are you using AppleScript Editor?
    It's worth checking you are using the correct quote types (straight lines vs curly ones), especially when pasting from the web…
    Bad
    Good
    There are a few tutorials around, see if they can help…
    http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Applescript-Tutorial/
    Macscripter seems to be helpful too
    http://macscripter.net
    P.S. 10.6.2 is a very old version, 10.6.8 is the later version (more stable) use software update to get that installed, it may fix some weird bugs that cause issues like this, run Software update several times until it stops giving you more fixes.

  • Random Connection Closed Errors using UCP

    Hey All;
    I am trying to figure out why we are seeing quite a few random connection closed errors in our applications that are using Oracle UCP ver 11.2.0.1.0 connection pooling.
    The errors happen at arbitrary jdbc usage source code locations (e.g.: spots that check a connection's auto commit mode, spots that spool through a result set, spots that do yada..) that consume a connection, and are not affiliated with what is being done with the connection (SQL being ran).
    The architecture is Tomcat 7, hitting Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 (RAC). The structure of the code (it's a web app) is such that we have a servlet filter that assigns a http request thread a connection from the pool on an incoming request, then that same connection is closed at the completion of that request's handling. No code uses connections other than code related to handling an http request. And, no threads are spawned off of that request handling thread. And, no code whatsoever (other than the servlet filter's finally block) ever closes a DB connection.
    Also, the number of connections in the pool is quite adequate for the usage of the pool. That is, the ceiling is likely never hit. Even if it were---- having an outstanding connection suddenly 'closed out' wouldn't be the proper behavior there.
    What are the things that can cause a connection to be 'closed out from under you' ? Meaning, the connection is valid when taken from the pool, but arbitrarily in the middle of usage--- it gets closed.
    I am pretty stumped at this point.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks--

    Here are a few sample stacks. Keep in mind that the line of code where the exception actually happens is arbitrary. We see the exception happen at ANY line that is a consumer of a connection. For example... it could happen that it blows up on the 'Nth' iteration while trucking through a result set. Suddenly at say... iteration 143 the connection is suddenly closed out from under the connection's handle.
    As far as threads are concerned, each http request that creates a controller servlet instance is assigned it's own connection to use through the handling of that request. That connection instance is assigned as a ThreadLocal instance. Any DB usage that thread has is via that connection. The servlet filter ensures the handle is assigned when the request comes in, then is cleaned up as that request is completely handled in the same filter's finally block (this is a pattern that dozens of web apps we have have been using for going on 10 years now). This is not an ejb app. Straight Tomcat 7 web app using MVC pattern where C is a servlet.
    The curious thing here in my mind is that we only have two apps in our collection that are using this new UCP pooling driver (most other are using a tomcat pool). And, only those two are seeing this behavior.
    I am not balking at the threads concern--- it's just hard to square that with how we handle threading in such a 'single thread per http request' manner.
    And, if it were the case that the pool is handing out the same connection handle to more than one thread because of having multiple entrant threads to the pool accessor method---- it's difficult to buy that it's that common for us to have multiple entrant threads at the same moment in those very short time span it takes for a pool to hand out a connection (given the traffic usage pattern for the app).
    Here are the 'known deltas' I am aware of between the two apps that have this behavior, and the couple of dozen we have that do not:
    1) these two apps are on Tomcat 7 (most others are Tom 5, Resin, or JBoss)
    2) these two apps are using the Ora UCP pool. (most others use Tomcat pool)

  • Change "The form has been closed" error message

    My client is not happy with famous "The form has been closed" error message. I have been asked to replace this with meaningful message along with some other messages. How can i do that ?
    Searched internet but noting much there about this at all, I am not sure if anybody have done that in past ? is it doable ?

    Hi Ben,
    Solution is easy,
    Edit  \12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\INC\intlcorestrings.js file
    Search for "IntlCoreStrings.k_strErrorFormClosed" and replace corresponding message with your desired one.
    Save & close
    But there is a down side of it, once you change the message it gets changed for all the web application running on the same server, because this file is located in 12 hive and shared across all Apps.

  • Notification Center error ( Default Theme )

    Hi Guys ,
    I'm having an error in  notificationcenter .
    is that every time I open it I get a white stripe. in the menubar. (only with transparency turned)
    Here I give two snapshots.
    Notification Center closed (no stripe)
    open (with stripe)
    Any help ?
    I repaired the permissions and nothing.
    Hugs

    I haven't seen anything of the sort. This may have something to do with how notification centre is handling the desktop wallpaper - have you tried with another wallpaper perhaps?

  • Client Notification Agent error

    hello,
    I've been using client notification to update computer policy for a certain device collection but it is failing to do, the status of the client shows as "offline" when I check the status of the policy update in "Client
    Operations" even though the client is online, and has the sccm client installed and active, and I get the following error when I look at CCMNotificationAgent.log file on the client:

    I'm using SCCM 2012 R2 CU3, and other clients in other device collections are not having this issue, so I'm assuming it's this one client. I tried to disable firewall completely on the client and even restarted it a couple of times, no luck. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,

    That's really strange if there's only a single client that's not able to connect to the BGB server on the MP. The 10060 error means that:
    A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
    Have you verified that the client can actually establish a connection on port 10123? Like with telnet, or a custom PowerShell script?
    Here's some more information regarding the error message:
    Message : A TCPIP socket error has occurred (10052): The connection has been broken due to the keep-alive activity detecting a failure while the operation was in progress.
    Reason : The server closed the client connection.
    Have a look at the Troubleshooting section in this blog post:

  • "Connection is closed" closed error while using MS Access database

    We are using MS Access database in our project. Recently the database was upgraded to 2000.
    After upgrading the database, I get the folowing error when getAutoCommit() is called on a connection -
    java.sql.SQLException: Connection is closed
         at sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcConnection.validateConnection(Unknown Source)
         at sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcConnection.getAutoCommit(Unknown Source)
    The connection is not closed explicity before getAutoCommit() is called, only the statement is closed.
    This error is sporadic and occurs under load scenario only (when a lot of connections are open). Once the error occurs, all the database calls fail then onwards. The error was not occuring before the database was upgraded.
    I suspect the jbdc-odbc driver. The driver might not be compatible with Access2000 database. Under load scenario, it might be closing connections automatically.
    Has anybody faced similar problem before? Where can I find the compatible jdbc-odbc driver? And how to ensure that it is jdbc-odbc driver problem only?
    The database verison - MS Access 2000
    Java version - 1.3.1_01

    can i just point out that there is no support for transactions in Access so I wonder why you are calling autoCommit methods at all...
