Notification report for user

Hi,
I have a program which creates the rebate agreement in ECC ( ACTUALLY agreement is created in CRM and my program gets all details from CRM through RFC and creates rebate in ECC) and displays messages in background job(SM37).
Users are asking for a notification with details whether agreement is created or not?
How can i achieve this?
Please suggest.

In your program use function module SO_OBJECT_SEND to send the e-mail to users with details.

I have utilised 3 user fields & activated order enhancement tab. I could find these three fields in report IW37N & IW49N. I m using ECC 6.0 EHP4. Try to set the layout & look for fields - user field for quantity in the layout. For this please maintain some data in these user fields of some orders and then check for those orders in t code- IW37N & IW49n.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Agree with words of TP, to create per user CAL report server must be domain joined. You cannot create report in workgroup mode. Please check beneath article for guide.

I want to know is there any report to find the what are all the T-code user has in his user master data.I want to generate this report for bulk user at a time.I can see in SUIM where we can generate for single user not for Bulk user.Please suggest me right solution,Guru!

I met CSI at a kongress a few weeks ago and pressed them a bit on how this works. Eventually they fezzed up about the table read but mentioned that in the next release being developed it would be different...
Problems with this is that the FM has a couple of limitations, so you cannot read all tables correctly... so you end up reading some of the wrong ones or taking the easy ones.
Another option is to let the database itself do the hard work, to get back to the performance aspect.
Anyway, for neither of these two do you need any tcode, so indeed we are drifting off topic...

ActiveSync Device Statistics report for users does not show Device Phone number

I have trying to run a Active-sync Device Statistics report to get all the details for active Sync users, but report show only last four digit of device phone number for few users and for most of the users its blank.
Is there way if we can get Device Phone number for active sync users.

Yes i have tried all of these transactions, these all relate to individual sales orders or production order costs.
Im looking for a report showing the costs for a range of sales order line items, exaclty like KOB1 but for sales orders. KVBI does exactly what I want but the material filed is not populated.
Is there a way to populate this field as part of the settlement?

This info is not available in universe, you have to use SDK to get the result.

Notification Emails for User Administration

Hi all,
I'd like to configure the Netweaver system to automatically send out mails to users when the account is created using "Generate Password".
This system is a pure Java system and does not have the ABAP components and therefore I am not able to use the SCOT or RZ10 tcode to configure the SMTP.
I have went to User Aministration > Configuration > Notification Email and set the hostname there. It does not send out any mails. Am I missing any steps? Any help is appreciated.

The javamail has to be set in ConfigTool for Netweaver to send mails.

Even i am facing similar kind of problem. Some of my users are displayed as DomainName\ID while some are displayed as Lastname, Firstname. I think we need to know the location where these reports are stored.

Hi Yoav,
XL Reporter cannot pull data from UDTs. However, you can use an Excel template when creating your XL Reporter report and then embed VBA code in the template to pull the UDT data in to the report after the XL Reporter has finished generating the report. It all depends on how you need to combine the UDT data with other SBO data. If you are interested in a report based entirely on UDT data then it would be simpler just to write the report using VBA in Excel (or Crystal).

You are assuming that there is a standard report but so far no-one can recollect it.
Have you done the following:?
1. Identified the relevant field
2. In SE84 do a "where used" on that field to ID the tables it is in
3. Looked in all those tables
If it's directly in a table then that will help, if it's stuck in a structure then that's not so good.
You could also do a trace via ST05 to see what tables are referenced or updated when you make the change

Presenting reports for users

Hi!
We are about to go live with our BW system and present reports to our "end-users".
We want to present the reports with a "company graphical structure", like all other presentations with graphical elements.
I've done some small web reports, but I haven't been able to cusomize them as much as I wanted.
At teched in Vienna I watched the mendocino presentation and there they had the piecharts and reports in e-mails and this looked very nice.
I want to do something like this, but I can't find how to do it.
Could any one point me in the direction some good documents, tutorials or some books, so I can do some reading and perhaps learn something.

Report generation for users having specific license type

For my project purpose i have to generate report which has userId,License type of the user,corresponding composite role and single roles assigned to the user and transaction code.
I can get the report for user and license type from USR06 and roles,transaction from SUIM.
But I need a combined report of this. Is there any transaction code which helps me in doing this.Please let me know.

1. As mentioned by Saby: use TCode SQV1 to map all the tables with a meaningful "foreign key".
2. Download all Table contents and map them in excel by using functions.
